First Boss (Pt 1)

LOCATION: Earth (Ruined World)

"I'm tired..." Darey said, crashing to the ground.

It had nearly been a whole year since he had began his journey, his quest for other survivors... Yet everything seemed fruitless.

The first few months were spent learning as much as he could about his Special Ability 'DEADMAN MONOPOLY'. He found some interesting things about it.

Firstly, he could take the Special Abilities of people only within 5 meters from himself. After trying this out on various bodies, he learnt the trick. If he was too far from his target, it wouldn't activate.

Secondly, he needed to focus on the target he wanted. Even if he was within 5 meters of a dead person, he couldn't use his Special Ability unless he was aware of their presence and focused on them.
