You Shouldn't Have Killed Them

UNIA'S POV:-

"Good, then I must kill you before he finds you," I speak as I look at the boy with golden thread connected to his head.

The thread of fate that can change destiny of the world.

Same as that Elven Princess.

Since, Ladros doesn't know his existence, it is better to kill him to hinder Ladros' plan.

'I am sorry but it is your fate to die here,' I think as I slash his neck killing him.

His body falls on the ground lifeless.

The Elven Princess is shocked as she looks at the boy's body.

"I'LL KILL YOU!!!!"

I hear someone shouting behind me.

A boy is trying to run towards me with anger on his face.

A white haired girl is restraining him, stopping him from making any move.

The boy's mana is overflowing.

'Let's not leave any future disturbances,' I think as I blink in his direction.

The white haired girl's expression turns horrified as she looks at me.

The boy is fiercely looking at me.

He is trying his best to get free from the girls' restraints.

I use my scythe to slash off their heads.

Their body falls lifelessly.

I then move towards the Elf Princess and carry her on my shoulders.

I get out of Eslaine and head towards the Demon Continent.

UNIA'S POV CONTINUED:-

Currently I am running through the Death Forest and on my way to the Demon continent, carrying the unconscious Elven Princess on my shoulder.

I have travelled 1/5th of the distance from Eslaine. It shall take 12 days more to reach the Demon continent at my current speed.

'Only 17 more wishes to fulfil and then I'll be free from Ladros' grasp,' a smile forms on my face as I think about that.

100wishes was it? Or was it 200?

I don't remember.

All I remember is that bastard formed a soul contract with me binding me to do his bidding.

In return for his wishes I will be provided with shelter; a place to grow.

'How naive was I back then?' Thinking about my past, I slightly shake my head then an icy expression forms on my face,

'The first thing to do after getting my freedom is to kill that bastard.' I mumble

'Just a few more wishes and I'll be free,' a smile form on my face as I think about it.

Then...

My body freezes

'Huh?' What happened?

'Can't...move...'

I try to move but fail to do so.

Suddenly, someone comes in front of me.

A child...he is wearing similar clothing to the ones I killed in Eslaine.

Is he one of their companions?

I focus behind him.

The Elf Princess...is on the ground behind him?

When did he-

He blinks in front of me, then...

"AAAAA..."

A piercing pain resonates throughout my body. My whole body twitches again and again and again...

How long has it been? Weeks? Months?

This pain...my whole body is screaming...I can't take it anymore...this...I want to die...this is too much....somebody please kill me...I beg...someone...

"Huh?"

My eyes are open wide. I look around to see the forest. There is no one around.

Where is he? I look at the Princess on my shoulder. She is still there.

'Ah! My ability had activated!' I exclaim.

How can I forget? My ability, time reversal.

It sends me 5s back in time everytime someone kills me.

A smile of relief starts to form on my face.

It's refreshing. After all that pain.

It's really refreshing.

The pain was so much...that I forgot about something so important.

I am stopped again

He is again standing there in front of me with Elf Princess behind him.

He again blinks towards me.

'No please! No! I don't wan-'

"AAAAA...."

...

"Haah...haah...haah...I...must run...fast," I think as I activate my demon transformation and use all of my energy for running away as fast as I can.

I run and run and run.

...and run and run...

Finally,

I reach the demon continent.

Lord Ladros' castle is right in front of me.

'I am completely drained...but this should be enou-'

I am stopped again.

He is there, standing still emotionless.

'What?'

I am horrified again.

How can he reach here this fast?

Who is he?

He blinks again.

'No! No!'

"GET AWAY FR-"

"AAAA....."

"Haah...haah..." I catch my breath.

I run back to Eslain.

He is there.

Standing in front of his companions body.

He then looks at me.

He is expressionless.

Before I can speak...

He blinks again.

I am stopped again.

And then...

"AAAAA...."

"Haah...haah...please don't... not any more...I can't take it...this is too much."

I start crying. Tears start flowing out of my eyes uncontrollably. When was the last time I cried? I kept crying...

I am stopped again.

"You shouldn't have killed them," this time he spoke.

'Huh?'

"I CAN BRING YOUR BROTHERS BACK TO LIFE," I shout as loudly as I could.

He stops.

I look at him

He is waiting for me to continue.

I hurriedly speak," Everytime I die...I go back 5s in time. If someone else kills me before those 5s, I can go back to the past. But the condition is that someone else has to kill me and I can't do it myself. If I go-" before I can continue he starts speaking.

"'Aether kill me'...find me and say that to me and I will give you a painless death... over...and over...and over. Once you reach the time, when I am getting out of the Devil's cave in the Greater Leaf Forest, you can stop saying that and instead tell me everything that had conspired in Eslaine and also what you had done both in present and past. I am going to place a curse on you, that if you ever touch someone I care about," he warns me as he looks into my eyes," you will experience the same death that you are about to experience right now." He speaks with emotionless eyes.

"AAAA...."

"Haah...haah.." I catch my breadth then run to find him.

I reach him in Eslaine. He hasn't seen me yet.

"AETHER KILL ME," I Shout as loudly as I can in front of him.

The surroundings turn silent.

Then...

He looks at me, his expression is somewhat complicated

He blinks in front of me.

My heartbeat rises drastically.

He takes out his dagger and slashes my neck.

"Huh?"

It was a painless death this time.

"Haha," I chuckle in relief.

Finally, there is a way out of this loop of endless torture and suffering.

A tear comes out of my eyes.

I run again to find him.

"Aether kill me," I shout again.

He slashes my neck...again.

I run away from the child whom I was about to kill.

I run away from the battle against Zwain.

I again run towards him.

A smile forms on my face as I look at him coming out of the cave.

'Finally! I am free!'
