While the rampage of the flame giant, Vulcanus, only went on for a brief period of time, it left the allied forces with close to a hundred casualties. The remains were rendered unrecognizable as they were charred black from the creature's flaming attacks. With plenty of men bearing witness to the death of their brethren, some of the bodies were easily identified, but there was still a number of them who were left unidentified. The only clue that the Solusians had to figure which remains belonged to their camp were the muskets they held.
