But in his tenth year, the System starts interacting with him, giving him game-esque quests with rewards for their accomplishment. To add to the complication, his usual leisurely life is brought to an abrupt end when the enemies of the Nozulian peoples invade. At this point, Linus finds his purpose as he uses his broad knowledge of anthropology, civics, and technological evolution together with the power of the System to come up with innovative solusions to transform his Nozulian hometown, Solus, and defend it from invading forces. Inadvertently, his interference ends up affecting not only his people’s fates but the others’ as well. Shelling

The approaching oar powered ships didn't show any signs of slowing down. Above their sails flew a flag with an emblem of a buffalo skull, axes crossed below it, identifying the vessels belonging to the Blacksand Warriors. Apart from the flags, the ships did not show any uniformity in appearance nor size, all of them were different.

In a diamond formation, the biggest ship was placed in the center, a galley about 25 meters in length and 3 meters in width, dwarfing the rest of its fleet as most of the auxiliary ships were only a little longer than the caravel but slender and speedy due to their light weight. Its combatants were all excited to see what treasures the Solusian fleet brought them. They armed themselves with slings, bows, arrows, blades, axes, ropes, and ladders, all bloodthirsty and ready to board the vessels in sight.
