Priscilla drew a sketch of Minorous Island, detailing where the port was, the locations of its defensive fortifications, and the settlement. Based on her descriptions, much of the island was underutilized as the places people occupied were only a fraction of the available land area. As the island was split in the middle by a mountainous region covered by lush jungles, she warned Julius to be careful of the wildlife present there. She referred to the sketch she drew, describing to the Solusian Chief the stretch of inhospitable areas on the island. Although she knew much about the place, she cautioned Julius and the military officers that the information she had about the island was almost a year old and may not be as accurate as everyone hoped. If the forces on the island didn't change much from her last visit, she estimated that the island could only field as much as 3,000 fighting men and a fleet of 50 galleys.
