CHAPTER 4

The people of peace land,came out to see for themselves, what was happening.

Old man peter was standing outside with the king,they were all afraid that Reed might be back.

Agnes was there too,looking scared too.

Old man peter was about to question her,concerning the book again, when everyone saw Deborah and Lucy, running towards them.

They stopped to catch their breathe and relax.

"What happened my children? ",the king asked,wondering why they were running.

Deborah took in a deep breathe, then let in out and began.

" Well...Lucy and I..... ",before she could even go further, Lucy shouted.

" What do you mean by Lucy and I?

Don't put the blame on me,because everything is your doing ".

" What?!",Deborah exclaimed.

The people were confused,what doing?

The king then asked Lucy to speak up,then she began to tell them,putting all the blame on Deborah.

"Your Majesty, we...we were inside the house arranging.

I was in the kitchen, preparing the food, while Deborah was in grandfather's room. Suddenly, I heard her scream, and I rushed to find out,only for me to see a book on her hand".

" Book?!",Old man peter said out loud in fear.

"Yes book.

She was about to open it, telling me that the book was about Reed.

I tried to stop her,but she refused and opened it...now,Reed...Reed",she began to stammer.

Deborah was shocked to hear all the lies, as she shouted.

"That's not true, you were the one that made me open the book".

" Shut up!!",Old man peter roared at Deborah, who trembled in fear,on hearing it.

He turned to look at Agnes,who tried to cover her face in shame.

He then shouted at her,later turning his attention to Deborah.

"I didn't see the book.

Oh! I didn't see the book.

Those were your words Agnes.

Now this wretched girl has destroyed us all.

I knew it from the beginning that she was going to bring problem, but no one wants to listen.

This girl must be...", before the word punished could even step out of his mouth, the earth began to shake.

Everyone was panicking, thinking it was an earthquake.

But to their greatest surprise, it was a mighty castle, appearing from no where on the mountain. Everyone was shocked, most especially Deborah.

That wasn't the only shocking thing.

Monsters began to appear, surrounding the people immediately.

The King's warriors came to the rescue, but failed, as the monsters dealt with them,flinging them into a corner like trash.

Lucy was afraid when she saw them, and planned to run away, but she was wrong.

The lion that chased Deborah and her, was on front of her.

Trapped!

Everyone was trapped.

The monsters licked their lips, each pointing at the human being body they would love to eat,and planting even more fear in the people.

The monsters soon stopped misbehaving, and they all took a bow to their ruler.

Everyone looked towards the lion, who then gave way for Reed to pass.

Stunned, those who recognized him, couldn't believe that his was back, while the new ones,especially the women,stared at him,like he was a treasure.

Reed stood in front of them,looking at their faces.

Until he came across the king,old man peter and some people,but no sign of one person, JOHN.

"Where is he?",Reed spoke out,still looking round.

His voice alone was like ice,as most of the women,placed their hands on their chest,and stared at him lovingly.

Reed looked at the king again, and asked,"I said..where is John?".

"John?, Grandfather? ",Deborah said to herself in a low tone of voice.

There was silence everywhere.

Reed became angry,as he squeezed his fists tightly.

He stretched forth his right hand,and unleashed a power that dragged the king towards him.

Fear gripped everyone one,when he said to the king.

" If you don't provide John for me in 30secs..,I'll burn all of you down..,starting with you".

"Please don't.

The truth is that,John is no more. He's dead",the king answered.

Reed looked at the King's face to see if he was lying, but he saw that he was telling the truth.

He dropped the king down roughly, allowing him to injure himself.

"Father!!", the prince shouted and was about to meet him.

But the monsters stopped him.

Reed was angry,for the fact that John was dead. He couldn't take his revenge on him.

So,he decided to double the punishment of the people.

" Since he's no more, ...all of you will take his punishment ".

Shocked, everyone began to beg for mercy,but he was too stubborn to convince. Just as everyone was begging, Old man peter said out loud in anger," Instead of giving us John's punishment, why don't you give it to his wretched Grand daughter.

Immediately he said that, Reed was astonished.

Deborah, who was hiding, became afraid,seeing that she was in a big problem.

Reed looked at old man peter, and said,"John has a granddaughter ".

" Yes he does,and she's here. Punish her for her grandfather's deeds".

"Yes!!",everyone shouted, except the prince, who looked worried for her.

Reed smiled and said,"Interesting!,his granddaughter".

He walked up to the lion,then back to where he was standing, and asked,giving them a scary eye,"Where is she?".

Immediately he said that, everyone gave way quickly,exposing Deborah at the middle.

Fear gripped her,when they all left her.

She looked at Reed,who was looking at her too,recognizing the face immediately. "You?!

You were the one that i saw not quite long.

You freed me".

Deborah swallowed her saliva and quickly faced the ground," Now what do I do?".

"Nothing!",Reed replied.

She screamed in fear,as she saw him close to her.

How did he get here so quick.

Reed studied her from head to toe,seeing the resemblance clearly.

He looks at her angrily and says,"Your face reminds me of my enemy.

Punishing him would have been great,....but punishing you..",he grabs her left arm,"...would be the greatest ".

His eyes glowed,allowing Deborah to know that she was doomed.

He drags her, and hands her over to a Cyclops,and said," Put her in the dungeon, I'll deal with her".

"No pls!!,no",Deborah begged,as the Cyclops carried her,and matched straight to the castle.

They all thought he was done,but he wasn't.

He signalled his armies, who began to attack the people, grabbing all the maidens and young men,that will serve him.

People were screaming and trying to save their loved ones.

But only one person was odd,Lucy.

Immediately she noticed what was going on,she began to expose herself, so that they would take her.

Agnes,who is supposed to save her daughter, began to shout,"What of her?! Don't forget her too. Lucy quickly jump on that one before he grabs that girl",Agnes ordered her,pushing Lucy to the monster.

Quickly, she jumped into the arms of the monster,and she was taken.

Agnes began to cry.

She waved at her daughter, wishing her goodluck.

"Oh my Lucy!

Succeed and make your mother proud.

Win over his heart my child.

Such a handsome and powerful man belongs to you ",she wiped her eyes,looking happy.

Deep inside the forbidden forest, the demons also saw the light from afar,and they became afraid.

" Reed is back".

"This is bad luck".

"Now our plan of many years have been ruined".

"He must be eliminated as soon as possible ".

" We must destroy him".

"The only way to destroy him, is if we have the book in our possession, then...we can send him back for good".

"Only then would we carry out our plans".

"Reed must die!!".

They were all furious.

Reed has been a treat to them.

Now that it was time for them to unleash their greatest attack on the people, he just appears from nowhere.

They where furious.

Meanwhile, inside the castle, the Cyclops took Deborah to a dark part of the castle.

There where so many dungeons and dead bodies inside,that the fear in her increased.

"Pls Mr cyclops,let me go". But no mercy.

The cyclops got to a special dungeon,opened it,and threw her inside.

" Ouch!!",She shouted,hurting herself.

She looked at the ugly monsters,that laughed and said,walking away,"You're doomed forever! ".

Deborah had tears in her eyes,as she wished she had never opened the book.
