(292) Devastation
In the beginning, the battle was one-sided. If it weren't for them arriving late, the warriors of Valhalla would have long pushed the opposing army out of the breach and back into the open field.
Zolis alone could take on two opponents while Sindri kept her from receiving significant wounds. Unfortunately, each time she would injure an opponent and move to make a critical blow, the enemy would back out and be replaced by another who was well-rested and healed.
The battle began to change later in the day as the opposing army began to understand their newfound power. No one was sure who had started it, but everything changed when the first powerful Skill had been cast.
A field of lightning stretched from somewhere in the center of the fighting, stunning and slowing enemies on both sides. Until that point, the fighting had been a clash of weapons, each side trying to save their strength as they attempted to push forward.
