Chapter 18: Ingrid's Revelation

After a few hours they had spent sleeping, it was now Dinner time. Hadrian was the first to wake up, and with the position they were in, it was only a matter of time before Draco woke up.

There wasn't a way for Hadrian to get out without Draco waking up, and possibly throwing a big fit. Draco was clinging onto him like a koala. A koala with a very strong grip.

There was only one way to get out of this alive. It isn't his smartest idea but it has to work. Hadrian roughly pushed Draco away before him, resulting in Draco falling off the bed with a thud.

A groan was heard from him before Hadrian threw the duvet on him. Draco squirmed underneath the heavy fabric, giving Hadrian enough time to escape. He quickly grabbed his robe and shoes, not bothering to wear any.

He dashed out the door before hearing a loud groan of frustration. Hadrian ran, not running into anyone surprisingly. Which means they were already having dinner.

With that, Hadrian went all the way to Gryffindor tower to freshen up before heading to the Great Hall for dinner. But now that he thought properly, and not on adrenaline, Draco had already seen him when he comforted him.

He was sure he even knew he was with him in the bed since he practically forced him into the bed. Hadrian wanted to face palm at his own stupidity, 'And thinking that getting your inheritance would have made you smarter.' He heard Seo Ji-Han, his Dragon familiar, comment.

Hadrian wanted to snap back, but he knew when someone was right, and in this case, he was right.

Draco had finally managed to get himself out of the trap, that thing was heavier than it looked. He threw the duvet back in the bed in annoyance, before tying his hair back into a bun.

He bit his lip to stop a few curses from escaping his mouth, it was a lot mind you. His thoughts strayed back to  the purpose of his headache, Cecil. He wanted to throw himself back on the bed and curl up, but that wouldn't be right.

Malfoys don't cry, they don't mourn for more than an hour. Those principles were installed into him at a very young age, and he wasn't going to make that go to waste. He spent a few more minutes on remembering Cecil before walking to the bathroom connected to the room.

This was what Cecil would have wanted. He wouldn't want Draco to waste his life mourning for something that was bound to happen. Loses happen everyday, what was the problem now?

He freshened up, put on clothes that made him look quite fetching, according to Ingrid, before slipping out of the cold and depressing room. Before he could step out of the common room his thoughts wondered.

He was suddenly irritated, "Did Potter just push me on the floor, cover me with a blanket, and ran out? Is he mad now?" He summoned Ingrid before continuing his walk to the Great Hall.

"I thought you would be focusing on the fact that you two shared a bed." Ingrid commented striding beside Draco in little hops. Draco visibly stiffened.

His face still seemed neutral, but Ingrid knew better, "It was bound to happen sooner or later. I mean, look at me." Draco retorted, his head held up high.

Ingrid sighed, (Foxes can do that right? If not, this fucking fox can. She is a familiar after all. No argument.) "At least you still have your ego."

They continued their walk in silence until they came face to face with the dark oak wood of the doors leading into the Great Hall, "You ready?" Ingrid asked, and Draco answered by entering.

He quickly made his way toward the Slytherin table feeling a few eyes on his back. As soon as he sat down, he was engulfed in a hug from Pansy, "Are you okay? I were so worried." They heard someone clear their throat, "We were so worried." She corrected.

Draco pushed her away slightly, "I'm fine, can we forget about that please." He emphasized on the please, putting food on his plate. He was so hungry, and he wasn't afraid to show it.

He grabbed pork chops, chips, some dinner rolls, pork and pumpkin pie for dessert, before adding a glass of pumpkin juice. To say this was shocking was an understatement, since it was common knowledge Draco didn't eat much, 'Watching out for his figure' he would say multiple times.

He looked at the Gryffindor table, finding Hadrian staring at him. As soon as they made eye contact, Hadrian looked guilty, yet at the same time amused. This just infuriated the blond.

Draco threw a glare his way, indicating he would not like to indulge in his presence, nor would he like to look at his face. So he dug in not caring for whoever was watching. The table was soon into their own things, with Katherine trying to converse with his here and there. Ingrid lay beneath his feet eating some pork Draco had slipped her. Honestly, it was a pretty chill dinner.

A crash was heard. He had spoken too soon. All eyes were now turned toward the cause of the sound, the Gryffindor table. 'Typical.'

Lavender Brown was desperately trying to fling a toad off her head. But the slippery thing just wouldn't budge. It hung onto her hair not once letting go, even after she had hit it a few times. Then we have Neville, trying to help her take the vermin out of her head, but she was flinging around, not allowing him to touch her.

Then cue Parvati Patil, Dean Thomas and Seamus Finnegan laughing at her dismay. While some people like Granger, Ginny Weasley and Padma Patil trying to help, while reprimanding the laughing group.

While Hadrian, surprisingly, ate as if nothing was happening. If this was normal to him, Draco didn't want to know what weird was. He turned back to his food to finish only to find a few items missing, a few chips were gone, some pieces of pork were missing, and the cream on his pumpkin pie was swiped clean.

His eye twitched before looking directly at Pansy who sat on his right. "If you wanted some, you could have asked." He spat at Pansy who was busy licking her fingers, "I literally have no idea what you're talking about."

Draco was at his wits end, this day was getting to frustrating and he needed fresh air. He quickly motioned for Ingrid to follow him as he disappeared behind the doors, hearing Pansy's screams of sorry and come back, as she laughed.

Before no time, he had reached the Astronomy tower. He sat down on the floor, his legs crossed. He took a deep breath, before patting his lap indicating that Ingrid should come over. She happily hopped his way, before snuggling into his lap.

He stroked her fur, before planting a small kiss on her head, a small gesture but it meant the world to Ingrid. A bright light surrounded the white fox. And Draco being... Draco, quickly got away from her, looking on in awe.

Ingrid got bigger and her form started to change, she grew legs, like actual legs, hands and her whole form just changed.

When the light faded Draco was met with a 5'2 girl in a white dress with red fringes. Her hair was also white, her eyes were grey, it was a very striking colour, but not like Draco's. She still had the collar Draco had gotten for her, which now looked like a chocker.

She looked at her hands in wonder then her legs. She spun around, watching her dress puff up. Draco could only watch in shock. "Oh my goodness!! I look so hot." Ingrid exclaimed, admiring herself once again.

She looked at Draco, "Are you seeing this?" She seemed so excited. Her face was just so happy, her smile contagious, and Draco had to smile as well. It finally happened.

Draco read in the book that this was bound to happen once they reached a certain level of trust. She must really trust him. She kept twirling and flinging her hair around, that she didn't even notice when she started crying.

But they stopped as fast as it came. She looked down at her self once more, "Ohh, I always wanted these." She made a gesture to the two bumps that had forme at her chest. It was pretty average, not too big not too small.

She moved to touch them, "Ingrid stop!!"
