Ashley's POV

At this moment, reading this letter over and over again, all I could do was hate Dante for saving me off that cliff.

I would have just ended it all, and no one would feel any pain.

"You broke my heart," I started reading his letter again. I knew it was unwise and even unhealthy, but I couldn't believe he would write such a letter to me.

Dante didn't care if I was living under the bridge or anything; he didn't care if I was dying, but he cared so much about delivering the letter that five guards had to appear at my door to deliver it.

You needed to see how I jumped to read it, only to find out it was an... 'I never want to see you again' letter.

Then again, I couldn't stop myself from reading, "After I saved you and chose you to be my Luna, I believed we were bound by trust. I thought you understood what that meant.
