Akatsuki/Their Proposal
Akumu Age 15
After Koin left with Naruto, leaving both me and Sakura on the roof I left with thoughts in my head. 'What is going on? First, the Hokage dies then the Akatsuki wants Koin back and now Sasuke is going basically crazy?' I felt like I was losing myself, I could feel my head split in half. I placed a hand on my head and let out a sigh, before walking down the street I turned a corner before pausing when I saw Koin and Sasuke talking. I quickly jumped up into a tree in the shadow and listen to their conversation.
"You're going to that snake creep aren't you?" I feel and hear the hurt in his voice, I placed a hand on my chest feeling it squeeze tightly. I wanted to go down there to comfort him but I prevented myself from doing so and kept hidden. "Yes, I'm going to Orochimaru..." Sasuke answered I felt my eyes widen before turning into a glare at his answer, I felt that tight feeling in my chest tightening even more. I could feel a sense of anger, pain, and sadness... But mostly betrayal, that same feeling when I found out Koin killed my Haku.
"I'm sorry Koin, this is what I have to do" Sasuke said before turning around to leave, but before he could fully leave Koin quickly grabbed his wrist tears streaming down his cheeks eyes full of hurt. Sasuke's eyes widen in shock seeing the hurt, pain, and tears. "P-please... Don't go... Don't leave me Sasuke... Please" Koin begged tearing up even harder I clenched my chest with a wince, "...Koin..." I whispered out in pain watching everything unfold. "I'm sorry Koin... This is the only way I can get power, get more powerful... Finally being able to surpass my brother..."Sasuke said.
"Then take me with you" Koin shouted clenching onto Sasuke, Sasuke quickly shakes his head a look on his face. "No!! It's way to dangerous for you! I don't want you to get hurt!" Sasuke said voice raised almost to a shout, Koin quickly glared at him slightly. "I could say the same thing to you as well!" Sasuke didn't say anything after what Koin said but simply pulled him into his embrace. "I don't want to see you go into the same path as me..." Sasuke started with a small weak smile on his face. "But I promise I'll be back for you"
Koin pulled something out of his pocket I squinted to see what it was until my left eye pulsed and I was able to see he pulled out a ring, I glared at the ring with a bubbling feeling of hate and jealousy. "I wanted to wait until we got older but... Sasuke Uchiha, will you marry me?" Koin asked with a sad smile on his face, I watched as Sasuke's eyes widen in shock before quickly nodding his head a blush and smile on his face. "Yes, of course, I'll marry you" Koin smiled even bigger before gently grabbing Sasuke's hand and placing the ring on his wedding finger.
"This ring will be a mark of our promise... When you come home, we'll get married" Koin said kissing Sasuke, Sasuke kissed him happily holding him close. "We'll be together again one day, forever" Sasuke said before leaving the village for good.
"I know you're out there! Come out!" Koin called out, I jumped and landed right behind him with ease he turned to face me. "Did you watch the whole thing?" He asked looking at me, I wasn't sure if I wanted to tell him the truth or not but I choose to do so. "Why didn't you stop him?" I asked even though I already knew the answer, I watched as he looked away from me. "Even when I tried to stop him he would hate me for it... This is his choice, not mine..." He answered my question.
I nodded my head and we stood in silence for a few minutes, before I opened my mouth to ask another question that I know what the answer was even if I didn't like it. "What are you going to do now?" I asked watching him look from me to the gates that lead outside the village, the same gates I'm going to hate soon. "I'm leaving Konoha also" He answered, my eyes widen slightly quickly regretting asking my question.
"What!? You can't be serious?!" I shouted I wanted to beg to please him to stay and not go where he was planning to go but kept my mouth shut. "I made up my mind Akumu, I'm leaving Konoha and joining my parents in Akatsuki" He said I let out a mental sigh and kept my mouth shut to keep myself from saying things. "I'm going to meet my parent's tonight" He said, I looked up at him and gave him a look. "I'm going with you" I could see the shock on his face but before he said anything to stop me from going a beat him to it. "I'm not asking... I'm going with you rather you like it or not, I promised to stay by your side and to protect you and I'm keeping my promise" I said but that wasn't the only reason why I was going with.
Koin looked down not being able to say anything, he just let out a sigh of defeat. "Alright" He said I nodded my head and walked beside him before we both left Konoha to meet his parents.
Time Skip
We walked through the forest going to the spot where we will meet with Pain and Konan, it wasn't long before we made it to the spot and spotted both Pain and Konan. "You finally made it" They walked out of the shadows with a smile on their faces. "Father... Mother..." Koin said making their smile widen even more seeing their son again, I couldn't help but give a look at them I could feel that we weren't the only ones out here but kept my mouth shut. "Have you made your decision?" Konan asked Koin turned slightly to look at me I nodded my head before he looked back at his parents. "I decided to join you and the Akatsuki but let Akumu go with me" He said.
Both Pain and Konan looked at each other and then back at us. "We will allow it" Pain said, I could feel someone behind me but I stood still, Koin turned to look at me with a smile but it quickly flashed away as he saw someone behind me. "Akumu!" Koin shouted before I was hit in the back of my neck, I fell towards the ground before someone caught half unconscious before I heard a thud right in front of me. "Forgive me Koin-sama" I looked up weakly and saw it was Itachi. "It...achi"Koin started before falling unconscious.
"Now then, Akumu Chi have you given me your answer?" Pain asked stepping up to me and placing a finger under my chin lifting my head up, I let out a small sigh and nodded my head. "Yes, my answer... Is... Yes..." I said before falling limp and he placed two fingers on my forehead and everything started fading to black.
