"Milady, it must be so cool to ride a living tiger. Kyaaa. ", said Lily while combing Anne's lustrous silver hair.

" Right, very cool. " Anne was lost in her own thoughts. She was not able to comprehend the reason behind that sudden reaction in the forest and why that tiger became so friendly in a few moments.

' I thought that I would get something in my library, but their is nothing I could find. Christiano is well versed in magic, he may be able to help me. '

" Lily, send a mana infused teleportation scroll to Christiano, telling him to meet me as soon as possible. "

" But milady-" , she hesitated.

She turned towards her and asked, " What happened? Is something concerning you? "

"You told me yesterday how he got hurt while saving you that time. Should not you meet your highness the crown prince first? Whatever person he is, atleast he saved your life . "

Her words struck her conscience. "Hmm. It is true that he saved me. Sigh! Tell the butler to bring out the carriage, I am going to his palace first. "

" Yes, milady. " , she bowed her head and leaved from her room.

"Your highness, Lady Anne has arrived and she wants to have an audience with you. ", said the head buttler of Caesar's palace

Caesar who was leisurely lying on his couch leaped up as he heard Anne's name. He gave him a sharp look and asked, " Am I looking good right now? "

" Huh? Oh, yes yes. You are always handsome your highness. " ' Seems, he really likes her. ' , he smiled.

He took his blazer and opened the door of the chambers. There he saw her sitting in a green gown made up of brasso net embroidered with floral design. Her lips were intoxicated with red colour which was complimenting her dress.

With one leg supporting with a stick, he came close to her. " Good morning, Anne. "

" It's afternoon. "

" Huh? Oh yes yes. " His face flushed as both of their eyes met. His heart was skipping a beat. It was a feeling he never felt before. He took a grip of his chest, ' Stop acting like crazy you little sh#t.'

He coughed a bit and asked her, " I am shocked to see your sudden arrival. "

" I came to check your leg. " She gave a quick look to his leg. " It does not seem that bad. Does it hurt? "

' What? She came because I got hurt? Is this.. Is she in love with me. ' A flickering hope started lingering in his mind.

"Hey! I am asking you something. " , she told him with one of eyebrows raised up.

He swamped his hair with one hand and said, " This types of little injuries does not bother me at all. " He gave her a thumbs up. He paused for a moment and then said, " Now that you have came here, let me give you a stroll of my palace. "

She owed him a favour so she did not deny his proposal.

Caesar's palace was quite magnificent. He loved arts and it could be clearly shown with his palace's architect style. The floors of his palace were made of marvel carved with valuable stones into peacocks and other marvellous designs. The ceiling and windows were of cathedral style. His garden was full of roses. A misty aroma of rose could be found every where. The palace's entrance had an arch shaped doorway. His palace's splendid beauty was enough to make someone fall in daze.

They were taking a stroll in the rose garden when suddenly the tiger rushed towards her.

She patted him calmly and said, " Seems you took real good care of him. He is more healthy now. "

He leaned towards her and whispered, " It is the first gift from my wife. Why would not I take good care? "

She blushed. She stood straight quickly and avoiding his eyes said, " What wife? I agreed to just being your girl friend and nothing more. "

" That's harsh. " He gave a puppy face.

They were walking by when they suddenly crossed the place where Caesar's personal knights were doing their everyday training. Even if she did not want to, her eyes fell on the ripped abs of those knights which was swamped with sweat.

" Your knights really maintain a good figure. "

He gave a cold look towards them.

" Why is the training ground suddenly so chilly?", one knight asked.

" Look there. Captain is giving us such a fearsome glare. " , another knight replied.

" Eeek! "

He grabbed her hand from behind. " Can not you give me a chance? I... "

She found an essence of sincerity in his eyes but before he could complete his sentence Christiano arrived.

" Kitty, what are you doing here? " , she asked. Loosening his hand's grip from hers , she went towards him.

" You wanted to meet me so I came to your castle but you were not there. So I came here to look for you. " He gave a disgusted glance at Caesar.

" Oh, I am so sorry. I did not know that you would be able to come so early. "

" It's ok. Now that we are here, let's return. "

Caesar raised his hand , in an attempt to cancel Anne's early return but before he could even do anything Christiano teleported himself and her in just one flick of his finger. There was a smirk on his face while doing it as if he was mocking him on his mana power.

Caesar was left standing there, clenching his hand.

' Could not you wait for just a moment? I want to say... I.. I really love you. Sh#t, this is driving me crazy. What could I even have done? She...she does not even loves me. ' He returned back to his chambers with a heart full of regret.
