The new heroes

On the kingdom of Sigma the days had never ceased to pass and especially in the castle. There the heroes continued their training and in total they had done 4 months of intensive training. Between the theoretical and historical courses and especially the trainings, they had not been idle at all.

They learn day by day to master their professions, skills and elements and also go through artificial leveling stages. Monsters were captured by the kingdom so that they could face and kill them to level them up. They would also learn to wield weapons such as the sword, axe, bow and spear, depending on their preference.

"Holy Sword!" Shawn shouted.

A flickering light then materialized and gradually took the shape of a sword. When the light had completely dissipated a beautiful golden and white sword was in Shawn's hand. As slashes of light came out of his sword to cut 4 level 25 Orcs in half.

<Saint Sword>: You can materialize the Saint-Almace sword.

<Saint Almace Sword> One of the Holy Swords created and blessed by the goddess herself possessing many abilities.

Ability 1: I am not defeated: when you receive one or more fatal blows, you heal instantly. (limited to 3 per day)

Ability 2 : All your stats are increased by 15%, you get the holy energy stat after its first invocation.

Ability 3 : Your sword mastery is increased by 50%, your strikes are 50% more powerful.

"Excellent Shawn." Said Peney as he watched Shawn kill the Orcs without any difficulty.

On the other side of the field it was now Emma's turn supervised by Priest Jean to show what she could do.

"To you Holy Priestess." (Jean)

"Oh lightning of the Goddess fall on my enemies!" She shouted as a gigantic beam from the sky burned 2 Orcs.

A lightning bolt bursting with holy power falls upon your enemies.

"Well Holy Priestess you are also learning at great speed." (Jean)

"Thank you, it is because of your teachings." (Emma)

While Méverick was beating a level 30 Garonne bear.

"Berserk!" He shouted as his blows became even more violent.

The bear finally died under his blows after a few minutes of one-sided combat.

All of your stats are doubled for a duration of 5 minutes, you get stronger as time goes on.

"Hey send me another bear." Méverick asked impatiently.

"Unfortunately it was the last one we had, they disappeared some time ago and the adventurers we sent to capture them were found dead." (Maximus)

"Ah shit they were fun to fucking kill!" Said Meverick with bloody hands.

While Méverick was complaining on the other side of the field an explosion sounded. A woman emerged from the flames with a shield and sword in hand.

It was Maïli who was fighting an Infernol a level 45 fire type flying bird. She dropped her shield on the ground on purpose and pulled out a second sword.

"Let's test my new skill." (Maïli)

In her two blades the wind element concentrated before two green slashes went off at full speed. The poor bird then found itself cut in two places, then crashing to the ground.

Throwing out two slashing attacks of wind type.

"Well done Maïli." Said Zem as a sword passed by his head.

"You have time to talk as you face us Zem." Expressed Karine.

"It's true concentrate big baloney!" Said Eléonore who threw several gusts of wind at him.

The two of them have been facing Zem as a duo for some time without him being in trouble. While Marine and Beth had made good progress on the control of their mana. About thirty bodies of Noras were spread out on the ground having been slaughtered like common pigeons.

Jay trapped a high goblin with his electric link skill, which electrocuted him without him being able to make a move. Then a lot of lightning gathered around Jay and suddenly he disappeared in a big flash, now standing behind the goblin he was facing. The goblin's body slowly cut in half in a bloodletting.

"Gather around!" Moïse then shouted appearing on the training ground ending everyone's training.

All 19 gathered on the field in a line without wasting any time.

"Well you have been here for 4 months now, as you know we have been training and observing you. So it will soon be time to decide who will be officially named hero of the Sigma kingdom. And this will be done in your one and only final test, where 6 of you will be chosen. I have a list of those who are currently in the best positions." Said he as he pulled out a sheet of paper.

"This can of course still change with your last test until then keep practicing without respite." (Moïse)

After this brief meeting in a room a mirror broke violently so Maël continued to pick at it. While Shawn, Méverick, Jay and Emma watched her lashing out at it for the moment without saying anything.

"How the fuck can Eleanor be in front of me! Damn, she's just a vulgar grey mage who can only use the wind element! While I master three elements!" (Maël)

"Try to calm down a bit Maël." Said Emma shyly

"Calm down, you're taking the piss out of me, you're well ranked! And you guys, why don't you say something?" (Maël)

"Stop it, don't you think it's annoying to see almost all of Maïli's group in front of us! exclaimed Méverick angrily.

"If it goes on like this, we'll never be selected, the only ones who will be in our group will be Shawn and Emma and that's out of the question. (Jay)

"And how do we do that, sir? You think we don't already know that so stop opening your mouth to say things we already know." (Maël)

"Speak well to me Maël!" Jay then said as he stood up to stand in front of Maël.

"What is it Jay you want to give it to you!" Maël replied from the fire starting to come out of his body.

"You don't have the weight Maël! Jay replied with electricity also coming out of his body.

The two of them were now going to come to blows Emma being lost not knowing what to do. While Méverick didn't care about their quarrel, looking at Shawn who had remained silent.

"Stop it, you two! It's simple, all I know is that we're going to end up at the bottom of the ladder or getting thrown out and I won't stand for it." Shawn then intervened as everyone turned towards him with powerful flames with flashes of light surrounding him.

The place around him starting to burn as well as Jay and Maël who moved away from him.

"All we have to do now is do whatever it takes to get to the top no matter what we have to do! Got it!" (Shawn)

They then all nodded in agreement to Shawn's words now ready to do whatever it takes to succeed.
