Chapter eighteen

Anna's pov

After listening to everything that Alicia told me I was absolutely speechless! It shocked me how bad things were! I thought it was something simple but this battle had been going on for centuries....she had to stop it!

"So what of my mate? Is he also reincarnated?"I finally asked her after being quite for a while.

"Ofcourse he has! you both are each other's lifeline and prophecy said that you won't last long without him and same goes for him! you guys were true mates which made the destroyer way angrier than she was supposed to be!"Alicia explained to her carefully.

"Wow! so where is he?" Anna asked with a little smile,she really wanted to know!,

"You have met him my lady! he is the one who brought you here!"Alicia said looking at my face with a little smile.

Wait what!? he was the one who brought me here? Suddenly everything started to fall into place on why he always acted angry with her when she questioned him on who he was! Now she felt very akward as Alicia continued her story.

" So the destroyer looks for the one who she claimed stole her mate every full moon and this is why she has started to look for you ! because it's on the full moon that you guys fight and either one of you that wins will get a stay a 100 more years! The woman you are fighting against is completely crazy and she has not died right from a thousand years ago it's still the same person because it is said that the blood of a red hair can cause immunity! So she is basically immortal."Alicia said again confusing me the more. If she was immortal and my blood was what helped her to be then how could I defeat her and why do I die?

I was really stressed when we hadn't given anywhere and my head was already aching.

"So she is an immortal?" I finally asked quietly almost like I wanted to cry.

"Exactly my lady!"Alicia said with a curt nod.

"So how am I expected to defeat her? and win? if she is immortal than how can I kill her?"Anna asked with a confused look.

"That is the mystery my lady...we do not know which is why you are on the run right now till you atleast gain some power to fight her!"Alicia said with a heavy and sad voice which showed that she was sad about it.

It was a very serious situation! I had to go against some blood sucker who was immortal and not just any blood sucker but someone who had sucked my blood so many times! This was indeed a very scary and unfair battle,but I was more than determined not to get hurt again. From the at things are I am the protector and she is the destroyer we were both brought together by fate for some reason and she had killed me and sucked me dry way to long! I knew that the lives of people were dependent on me including my mate! so I had to do this!

"I won't let her win this time!" I said with a very determined voice causing a smile to break out on Alicia's face which almost left me in a daze because she was so beautiful!

"That is the spirit my lady! I will leave you to get some rest for now! Your practice and training starts from tommorow morning! 6:00am sharp I'll be here so be ready by then!"Alicia said like a strict solider as she nodded at me one more time and left without giving room for me to even make a protest.

As she left I kept thinking and trying to process every thing she had just told me! As a matter of fact I was still shocked at how deep all this was! Best friends fought because of man up till the extent of blood drinking!

She was really scared about whoever this destroyer was! Like how was she going to defeat an immortal and not just any one but the one who loved to suck her blood!

Her head started to ache at the thought to this! she didn't want to think about this anymore as her mind wondered back to Levi!

So he was actually her mate! Why couldn't she remember a thing about him? She should at least have a little memory right since it was from the past? she would ask Alicia about that later.

As she thought more and more about Levi her cheeked burned and she knew she was blushing but she couldn't help it! He was a beautiful man but he seemed to be upset with her!

She sighed as she fell on her bed to rest.

*What a stressful day* she thought to herself!

She had learned so many things about herself and the past that she couldn't even sleep now just at the thought of what awaited her in the future!

*What was she too do?*
