21 2.3 Dangerous games

Everyone went to take their seat when dinner was served. Cillian was sitting at the head table with the imperial family. Esdras who was next to Silas discussed with him. Cillian carelessly listened. He feels like an animal at the zoo, everyone was looking at him.

He looked at his plate with a frown. Even if vampires feed on blood they still eat humans' food just with a lot of blood sauce. Cillian's steak was bathed in a lot of blood and it didn't look that appetizing to him.

He would rather drink blood and eat human food separately. He ordered the server:

"Bring me a steak without sauce and a glass of blood."

The server took the plate and went to get what Cillian had asked. As Cillian drank a glass of wine everyone looked at him.

Jude asked:

"Cillian why don't you just eat what was prepared like everyone else?"

Cillian smiled, his brother is making him seem spoiled but he doesn't care.
