8 Entering the forbidden area

After dinner, I returned to my bedroom.

My stomach was so full from the food grandma made.

It was so delicious that I couldn't control myself from eating too much.

And now my stomach is paining, how am I supposed to complete my mission in a state like this?.

After getting inside the room. I layed on my bed and took out my phone from my purse.

I switched it off while eating dinner so it would not cause any distraction while eating.

When my phone got on. I saw that I got a notification about having 2 missed calls from mom.

why is she calling me now?

Is everything alright with her?

I dialed her number and contacted her back but she didn't picked it up. It said that she was out of the area.

Maybe she called to ask if we arrived alright over here.

I'll contact her later to ask about why she called. But now I need to focus on my mission of entering the forbidden area of the forest.

I don't know why I am doing that. Even though I know there is a high chance of something dangerous thing to be inside it. but I just couldn't control my curiosity.

It's like something is calling me inside the forest. I don't even have control on my feelings anymore.

Should I tell grandma about it?

No, if I did told her about it then she would not let me go. That's why I am going to do as my heart says.

I looked at the clock and waited for Emily to arrive.

She said she would come to tell me about her plan in my room right after dinner.

God knows what's taking her so long?

After few moments, she arrived inside the room while taking something in her hand.

It was a walkie-talkies and few other things.

Where did she get that?

"Emily who gave you that walkie-talkie? And why did you bring it here? Is it included in our plan?" I asked her and took things she bought out from her hand and kept them in the bed.

"Of course it is included, and grandma gave me this walkie-talkie this afternoon while I was exploring the house. I knew this would come in handy in our mission that's why I took it." Emily said while taking a sip of water from the glass

Oh, so she was planning on searching the forbidden forest area even before me.

I knew that something was in her mind when I saw her smiling evilly before.

"So anyway, tell me about your plan. How are we going to do that?"

Emily took the map of the forest and started to look at it. "I took this map from the book I found earlier and stole it without her knowing. I hope she doesn't find it out." She smiled nervously. "I am going guide you through this walkie-talkie and tell you directions by it's help. If you got lost there, your phone has GPS tracker so we can find you easily. So you don't have to worry."

"The plan is good but what about grandma? What if she came in to check on us then what are you going to tell her?"

Grandma is too sharp so it would be hard to fool her so I am a little doubtful about this plan but let just pray that she doesn't find out about this.

"You don't need to worry. I'll make some excuses about it." She consoled me. "You should leave right after grandma falls asleep. So it would be easier for us. And don't forget to return safely before 3:00 am. don't stay there for too long." Emily threw a bag at me. "You should take this supplies with you too."

I opened the bag to see a lot of things in it. It had a torch, a big sharp knife, GPS, water, some snacks, and more things inside it.

Damn, when did she collect this many things?

It looks I am going to a survival game show.

If I didn't come back earlier I would die.

But this is not something I should laugh about. Grandma said many people went inside it the forbidden forest and never return. What if that happened to me?

That thought made me so terrified but it's too late to think about that now. I hope I don't regret it later.

Now all I need to do is wait till grandma falls asleep and after that, the real story begins.

At midnight. I packed my bag and was ready to leave. The plan is set.

Grandma is sleeping in her room now. She won't be waking up until 4.00 am. And even though she does, Emily is going to take care of it.

Everything is going well yet but let's see what happens now. I took my torch, walkie talkie, and a bag in which I have few things that emily gave me.

When I was ready. I jumped out of the window.

Now don't ask me why?

If I went from the main door then it

would make noise and wake grandma up.

I am not gonna take any risk.

When I said I jumped out of the window, I didn't meant balcony.

I meant that I jumped out of the kitchen window that was on the ground floor.

If I by chance I would fell, I don't want to ruin my beautiful face.

That time, I had another option too. I could have easily used the back door to get out.

But you know, I was so scared that my brain was not working at that moment.

I came out of the house and pressed ON in my walking talkie device and heard Emily's voice from it.

"Anastasia can you hear me? Now go straight out of the gate and move left." She directed me through the walking talkie.

Her voice was stuttering in that device but I could still identify what she was saying very easily.

The main problem was not that. The real problem was outside the gate.

I couldn't see a single thing outside. The darkness and the scary looking trees were creeping the hell out of me.

Even though I am not scared of dark but just imagine going through the scary forest alone in the darkness.

Only Vloggers can do that stunts, not me.

Thanks to Emily I didn't feel that scared. She was distracting me with other things while talking non-stop. She made me feel less anxious.

I arrived at the gate very earlier than I thought.

It took me only 1 minute. It was weird.

Looking at the large gate infront of me. It looked scarier than before.

I asked Emily about what to do next because I couldn't see anything there. The torch was useless. That's why I needed to take out my phone for more light.

"Okay now right in front of the gate you will find a key. Take it from there and open the lock" Emily instructed.

But from where did she find out about the key?

I could ask her that but I didn't wanted to waste my time on that thing. Let me just go inside it. Take some pictures of the place and run straight towards the house.

I don't want to meet any danger on the road.

I kneeled on the ground to find the key.

There were so many stones on the ground. How am I supposed to find it out?

I was about to give up finding it when I accidentally slammed my leg on some rock and fell on the ground.

Yes, that hurted like hell but guess what? I got the key.

I was so close to breaking my head but I found the key. So, everything is okay now. But I still scraped my arm. I don't know if it's bleeding or not because of the dark. But it still hurts a lot.

Even Emily was worried about me but I reassured her that I was okay.

I covered my arm where it got scraped with my palm and started rubbing it slowly to stop it from paining and that trick worked.

I wasted no time and opened the gate and took few pictures of the entrance.

I didn't went too deep inside of the forest. otherwise I would get lost.

After I did my task successfully. I was all set to just run back home fast. But when I was about to head out.

Someone held my leg and sucked my soul straight to the underground.
