After listening to Calla berate her and purchasing the book, they finally left the store. Anemone was getting irritated at listening to Cayden bothering her about the boy she saw. She tried to change the subject. "Cayden, what did you buy at the bakery?"

Cayden smiled and held up a honeyed almond croissant. "They had a lot of baked goods. I bought this for you, sister." She took it and bit a chunk off. He started chatting about the other goods he saw in there. Anemone was lost in thought. She knew the fairy prince she met a few years ago wasn't really a fairy. All she had was his looks.

Since she debuted, she had been seeing many with blue eyes and some with blonde hair. None she had seen with the same combination. The coloring was always wrong. Not blue enough, not golden, and not handsome for sure. She only knew two that matched the eyes but it was only the eyes.

One was Iris... But she was a girl so that didn't work. The other was the boy she saw in the book store. Another problem was that she was forgetting what he looked like. "Roles we are forced to be," she mumbled.

"What's that, sister?"

She blinked and stared at Cayden. He had stopped in front, peering up at her. "I was saying we should go to the dressmakers now. They should be open." She grabbed his arm and strode faster to the store nearby. This dress store was very popular and her mother loved the dresses made by the stylist.

When they entered, some bells tinkled. Anemone assumed most shops here would use it to notify the shopkeepers they received customers. As they waited, a woman came towards them with a warm smile. Her hair was swirled up in fuchsia pink like frosted sugar. Her dark skin reminded her of the milk chocolates her brother always ate.

Her almond brown eyes and smile tinted pink hinted at playfulness. Her dress was fuchsia pink but was lifted to show a dark purple skirt under. "Good morning! How can I help you gentries?" her soft voice lilted.

Anemone gestured towards Cayden. "He needs to be measured for clothing. I will also need the fashion books too."

"For boys?"

Anemone pondered before saying," No, for girls."

Cayden looked at her in fright before he was dragged away. Anemone didn't care to look back and sat down. A maid poured some tea for her and brought a plate of macarons. She bit into one as she turned the pages in the book given. Since it was autumn, the fashion colors would be more earthy and warmth colors.

Cayden had dark hair and hazel eyes but always wore brown clothing. He would look good in the earthy tones. Flipping the page, she noted a dress that was golden brown with green beadings. Another dress was black with dark purple lace. She pondered which one would be better.

"This one would look great on you."

A finger pointed to the green dress. Anemone looked up to see Lady Iris. "Lady Iris! I didn't think I would see you here," she exclaimed as she stood to curtsey her greeting. Lady Iris also curtseyed back, her silk blue dress rustling.
