Becoming Olivia (2)

"If I win the next battle with my ideas, you'll let me do what I want. If I lose, you can kill me" That was definitely rubbish coming out of her mouth.

All the werewolves in the vicinity looked at her like she had grown two heads. She could even feel a question mark coming from the human corpses. For that, it was just her imagination.

"I want to prove myself and get revenge" she said, her voice turning cold. She didn't know who killed her but now that she was a werewolf, it was easy to direct her anger at the humans.

"Olivia, calm down. You're right, we are losing. If you can help us win this war, then do it. If you can't, then there is no need to do it. I can't risk killing my treasure because of a battle. I choose to trust you" Jonathan said. Now he was the one being stared at like he had two heads. Well, you know what they say, like father, like daughter.

Olivia's thoughts were something like this;

'This father of mine has a few screw loose but I'll make sure he doesn't regret it, even if I'm bullshitting. God, if I make it out of this, I'll...'

"Princess Olivia!" Her body jolted as she turned to face Eliza who was tugging at her sleeve. Everyone was staring at her, causing her to turn a ripe shade of red.

"We have to go"

"Go where?"

"The war council room. His imperial majesty said to lead you there. He would join us later"

"Oh sure"

Olivia wasn't still sure why she uttered what she did earlier. She was just a nerd who happened to read a lot of web novels. She wasn't cut out for war but she still opened her big mouth to declare it. Now, she had to make do on her promise.

"Your highness, you really don't have to do this. You are still sick and you don't have your memories"

"I'll be fine Eliza. Don't worry much about me"

Olivia gave her a smile but she was still not convinced. Eliza huffed and pulled her hand. Olivia was suprisee by the strength the young servant girl possessed, being so small in stature. She stopped and pat her head.

"Your.....your highness?!"

"Hun? Did I do something wrong?"

"No....."

"You're blushing though...."

"I'm fine"

"Okay. Say Eliza, am I the only imperial descendant?"

"No. You have 2 brothers and four sisters. Your father has 2 concubines. You don't really like them and you don't speak to them often. In fact, you keep to yourself. You never usedto speak to me either. That's why I'm glad that you're talking to me"

"Oh, right...."

Olivia's thoughts; I sound like an asshole. Jeez Olivia, what were you thinking about? I wish I had your memories but life isn't that forgiving. Those stupid novels lied to me'

"We're here your highness"

They stood in front of a room with a huge door. With a deep breath, Olivia pushed the door open.
