Prologue

Laboured breathing could be heard throughout the rainforest alongside hurried footsteps. Slashing sounds were created everytime Takemura swung his machete. Takemura Hideyoshi was a 23-year old history teacher, archeologist and a massive believer of the ancient babylonian culture. He always wanted to solve the mysteries surrounding the fallen civilization. One of the things he wanted to solve most is how it was all related to God and Eden.

After a few minutes of walking and scratches, he found a massive, ruined city. He laughed out loud in joy and danced around "Finally! After so long! My dream has been fullfilled!" Grinning, he ran to the biggest building to start from there. For a couple of hours he scavenged through all buildings, big to small, only to be met with dissapointment. Frustration was visible in Takemuras eyes and he groaned "All this hard work for nothing. It's like this place wasn't meant to be inhabited. Not even corpses exist anywhere." Furrowing his brows, he looked at the only place he visited yet, being the graveyard.

Knowing that it would be rude of him to enter the land of the dead, he turned around, only to feel his instincts act up. He knew this was a massive opportunity he didn't hesitate to walk inside. The rain coupled with the gloominess of the graveyard made him a bit scared but also excited. Passing by the graves he assumed to be unimportant he walked right up to the furthest and the one who seemed most sacred. Seeing the sculpture he was surprised, shocked and felt all kinds of other feelings. What he saw was a man and a woman sitting under a giant tree eating an apple, alongside a snake that seemed to stalk them.

From the crazy amounts of knowledge he had, Takemura knew it was most probably the graves of Adam and Eve. The exhilaration he felt was out of this world, when all of a sudden everything turned quiet. He uttered a quiet 'Eh' because what he saw exceeded what his mind could take. The dirt of the grave rose and a exquisite hand poked out from below. That wasn't all, as right after the hand grasped the grass and pulled itself up. The moment he saw the person he crawled up he was broken out of his reverie. It was a teenage boy that had perfectly sculpted muscles, platinum colored hair, blue eyes and a leaf covering his privates.

The boy gazed at his surroundings and mumbled to himself "It's been a while since I was awake. To think somebody actually dared to come here." He tilted his head back to look at Takemura "I guess you are the one?" Takemura issued a confused noise because he couldn't understand what he was saying at all. Frowning, the boy appeared right in front of Takemura and pointed a finger at his forehead. "Let's see how far everything has advanced" Countless knowledge including the current state filled the boy, Adam's brain. "So many religions, seems like a lot has changed since then." Exhaling, Adam looked at Takemura once more and said in fluent Japanese "Sorry friend, but it seems like you'll have to sleep for a while." His eyes widened, before rolling up and losing consciounceness.

Adam was quite sad, considering that he couldn't sense the connection between himself, his wife Eve, his two children Abel and Cain nor his Godfathers. He knew something must've happened judging how there's nothing left behind. He took off Takemura's clothes and put them on. Hesitating slightly, he pointed his fingers at his abdomen and thought to himself 'Since you awoke me, let me gift you something. Consider it your compensation.' He stood up, looked around one more time around the graveyard, before exiting the ruins, leaving behind a shivering man.

Trying to make a proper novel this time around. Lets pray that I wont get lazy and go MIA.
