Chapter-2

Aiden immediately got up and went to apply for the planet exploration team jobs in the Harken Techs.

"These jobs are risky but if i can get that type of money from it, then why not. My life is ending soon anyways." Aiden spoke as he started walking towards the office's address that was given on the flyer.

As soon as he exits the park, the sunny enviornment around him turned into a very dark environment.

The sky was covered in clouds and everyone around was walking with thick clothing. The environment was chilled.

Big screens were shining everywhere with ads playing on them back to back.

On the footpath many begger were sleeping or begging, Drones were delivering food and automatic police robots were patrolling through the roads and streets.

Aiden walked towards the metro station on the 2nd street but suddenly he stopped before a barber's shop. Where saw himself in the mirror.

His cloths torn, big beard on his face and very long dirty hairs.

"I look like a retard." Aiden spoke as something triggered in his mind and he went inside the shop.

"Welcome sir- Ah, Please get out. I don't have anything to give you." A cute girl around Aiden's age spoke after thinking of Aiden as a begger.

"I want a hair cut and new clothes." Aiden spoke as he looked at the girl.

"Hmmm... ? Do you have money for that ?" The girl asked in confusion.

"I do. What's your most expensive haircut ?" Aiden asked the girl.

"Here is the menu, select your haircut and pay for it. Once done you can just go and sit on that chair, right there." She said as she gave a very slim and black rectangular metallic tablet to Aiden, and left.

Aiden clicked on a red holographic button on the lower left of the metalic tablet and suddenly a holographic list of thousands of haircuts popped up in front of him.

The most expensive haircut costed around, 150 Galactic Gems.

Aiden choose the most expensive haircut and clicked on the pay option.

Suddenly the holographic screen vanished and a rectangular shape appeared on the metalic tablet, on it's side an arrow was pointing towards it, which said 'Put your Card Here.'

Aiden pulled out a black card with his name on it from his upper left pocket.

As soon as he placed it on the tablet, his smartwatch glowed up with a holographic pop up.

Aiden just laughed at the message and swiped it into the delete tab.

"There goes one day of mining." Aiden spoke with a smirk.

He never took care of himself or his appearance, but now that he is going all out why not get some good hair cut and expensive clothes.

Aiden then moved towards the chair that the girl pointed out earlier and sat down.

The chair looked expensive, the leather was soft and the head rest felt like a cloud.

As soon as he sat down, a big semi-circular oval shaped machine covered his face Fully and locking it in one place.

He felt warm water being throwed on his face and lazers cutting his hairs and beard carefully.

30 minutes later...

The machine stopped working and revealed Aiden's face. He looked like a whole new person after the hair cut, his face was glowing, hairs were cutted perfectly and his beard was also shaved now.

He stood up and looked at himself in the mirror.

"Wow, i look handsome." Aiden spoke as he touched his hairs.

After this he moved to the counter once again. The same girl was playing games on her gaming console.

"Yo, Number 5 move and leave that gun for me." She shouted.

"Excuse me." Aiden called out but she didn't replied.

"What the fuck bro ? Don't blame me, it was number 5. We lost the match because of him."

"Ma'am, Where can i get some clothes ?" Aiden asked.

"Hmm...? What is the problem-" She knew that the voice belonged to the beggar like guy but when she looked at Aiden, her jaw dropped hard.

"I am asking, where can i find some clothes ?" Aiden repeated.

"Y-Yes, please follow me." The girl said as she removed her headphones and putted down the gaming controller on her desk.

After that she led Aiden to the back of the shop, where hundreds of clothes were on the show and in the middle of them a big cloth printer was situated.

"Here, please choose any clothes you like and pay. Once the payment is done this machine will print your clothes." She said as she gave another metalic tablet to aiden.

Aiden clicked on the red button and another holographic screen popped up in front of him.

Thousands of clothes but Aiden just purchased the most expensive once, A white coloured shirt, Black pants and a black coat.

Placing his card once again on the tablet he paid for the clothes.

"There goes 13 days of mining. Man it feels good to spend this hard earned money, when you know that your life is about to end soon." Aiden spoke in a low voice as he handed the tablet back to the girl.

"Please go and stand on that platform, it will measure your size." She said as she pointed towards a circular platform at near distance.

Aiden immediately followed her instructions and stopd up on the circular platform, suddenly many robotic hands started throwing lazers at him from different Angels of his body.

After 1 minute they stopped and Aiden stepped down from the platform.

The machine then started making clothes as Aiden observed it through the transperant mirror.

In just 5 minutes, new clothes were ready to wear.

The girl took out the clothes and gave them to Aiden.

Aiden went into the changing room and came out.

As soon as he came out, he looked hot. Not too hot but hot. His looks were above an average guy but now his clothes and new hairstyle completed his attire.
