Chapter 3

As I sit outside my palace, looking down on the river I can't stop to think about my past life and how it ended.

Back then I just 32 years old, and had lived successfully until my stepsister's trap killed me.

I had a long education and ended up as a Vice president for a major drug company. My stepsister called me, luring me down a abandoned road when a trailer crashed into me and I died almost instantly. As I can still remember the words of the driver just before I died. "Miss Wang, it's been done. Yes, she is dead!" It filled me so much with anger and humiliation that I still feel it now even as I've transmigrated into a bloody book.

Nevertheless I also see the good side of having a new chance of life and even the memories and abilities I've learned in my first life. Such as my medical training, languages I've learned, poison training and acupuncture training. It seems to fit quite well living in a historical novel. The thought makes me laugh, though I'm grateful to be able to remember all my training because I'm sure I am going to need it.

By night time I sit by the same river watching the moon reflect the surface of the water. I look down on the ring on my finger, looking forward til tomorrow and the future with a smile on myself. I can do this, I need to be clever and change my image, if I remember correctly, most people disliked me at this age. They would start to hate me as I get older, to the point of trying to kill me.

But now I can change how people look at me, maybe I should ask my new father to create a rumor that I was deliberately raised by a maid to act like that, but after the king found out, the maid died and he set me on the right course with the right education in decorum. No that will not work, then people will laugh at me for being easily mislead.

Speaking of education, I should start an education on medicine, so I can explain should I need to save someone or make medicine of some sort.

Wang Ning's thoughts were all about a safe future and what she needed to do to make sure of it, from education to the queen and her family. It could be said she had a lot of work ahead of her. Nevertheless it was important to plan, considering this 'world' was not safe and she needed to be clever in order to survive.

The next morning I'm woken up by the voices of my maids, I guess it's time to change things around here and get rid of the spies. When another thought jerk me to life, what is my gift?

After I'm cleaned and changed clothes I send the maids out, leaving me alone in my living room. My fingers run along the edge of my ring and to the stone and as if all light disappear, I feel a thug in my mind and the light come back. The first thing I realize is this is not my living room, this isn't even a place I know or ever been.

Infront of me is hills and mountains, trees and plants and a building that looks like it's taken right out of the royal palace. Two Phenix statues stand proudly infront of the palace, guarding it from dangers.

On the right side is a large farmland, filled with plants, herbs and trees as far as the eye can see. On the left is a shallow river filled with water and mist. On the edges of the river are grey tiles all the way down the hill.

I try to be calm, but this is as surreal as it gets. If my guess is right, this is my personal space? My breath hitc as I try to come to turn with this strange existences. While walking around, I see no animals or other living beings so I'm guessing there is no guide, like there are in so many other novels like this. The thought makes me giggle.

Inside the palace are a big foyer, a grand living room, a comfortable bedroom, bathroom, a enormous library and a workplace. Wang Ning went true each room with a nervous heart. Each room was filled with luxury that she had never seen before. inside the library was books as far as the eye can see, reaching all the way to the ceiling. While looking around she found that most books was about medicine, pillmaking, potions and poison. By a huge window was a single chair and a table, on top lied a black thick book. She sat down opening it on the first page, and suprised to find everything written in English. On the first page wrote

'To the heaven difying space next owner; This is a space that can only be given to those who have gone true death and returned in a royal body. This space does not follow a natural order. One hour in here is a minute outside, the water heals and nurish body and bones, planting a herb will be ready in 2 hours and never die. All books inside the library are gathered true hundreds of years and won't be found outside. If you remove the book 'Beast and pets' a surprise is waiting you. Good luck on your journey and be good to little spirit, he is sleeping inside the water and will awaken when you drop a blood of yours inside'.

Wang Ning had no idea how to react, this place and these words, who left them? God difying space? It seemed so sci Fi that she didn't know whether to laugh or cry, but she was grateful to be given such a treasure. As she remembered the book that was mentioned, she walked around looking for it, but there where just too many books. The library was at a size of 100 big pools put together and probably contained around several million books. The further in she got the bigger it became and so she walked up the stairs for the second floor to see. Finally she found books that was not about medicine, but on beast training, so she continued searching until she finally found the book mentioned. After taking it out, she was about to open it when. a noice interrupted her. The entire bookshelf moved and inside was thousands of eggs as if they had been just waiting to hatch for hundreds of years.

In the middle of the room was a table and there lied a piece of paper. She lifted it up to read and almost bit her thung.

'These are all the beasts are from the previously owners of this space or they have captured, once the owner died, they where transferred here. They are in hibernation and can be woken if you make a bond with them. Please note that even if you can create bond with all of them regardless of your level, some beasts might choose to test you. '

So many beasts and they are extremely powerful, some she even recognized from legends. It seems all owners where very powerful. It gave her alot of pressure to be just as powerful, but also thankful for her new life.

Walking out of the library she noticed another door and opened it. Inside was a spacious workplace with shelves all around the room, filled with all kinds of pills and potions in different sizes of bottles. In the middle of the room was a chair and a table, on top lied a spectacular cauldron. it was red and on the sides stood two phenix's. Beside it was a paper and she guessed it was another guide the previous owner left before he died.

'Here you can make all kinds of medicine and poison, this cauldron will help you control your batch and it will never explode as it made with Phenix blood. Some bathes might not be successful in the beginning, but spirit and the books will help guide you. '

I can't help to take another deep breath, this is so incredibly insane that I want to laugh.

After calming down a bit I walk out of the palace towards the river and sit down on the tiles, looking around me. The sky is blue and there's even a sun, the oxygen feels normal but I can feel my body is lighter in here then outside.

Biting my finger I let a drop of my blood fall, wondering how many others have done the same as me in the past. The thought is comforting, to not be alone in this experience, even if we never met.

While my blood mix with the water and sink I can see a small light at the bottom, becoming larger and larger until it stops.

When I think something must be wrong I see a figure gliding upward towards me, becoming more and more clear. Once he is out of the water I can see him clearly, soaring above me in the air he greets me with an unusual calm voice.

"Greetings master I am the spirit controlling this space, Spirit Tu".
