As Jez left the forest he stumbled across a road and located it on the mental map he had drawn up before he left home, he had used the woods to cut a 4 day short cut, it would be another few days before he reached a town big enough to have the Trade Expressway would pass through, that would allow him to quickly travel to the central cities that held the Mage Academies. Nothing really interesting happened on the road, most animals are likely to avoid the road and the monsters in the area had long been culled. When he passed into the town that was on the path of the Expressway, it was early morning, he had arrived the day before bit had camped out in the surrounding wilderness to avoid having to pay a fee for an inn, he had entered without paying an entrance fee as he was traveling alone and not having any goods to sell. He found the Trade Federation building in an instant, as it was overly showy and stuck out with gaudy colors. It was a simple task to enter and state that he was looking for transport with the Expressway to get to Aurorus city, the attendant had asked if Jez had wanted to purchase any food for the trip in which Jez declined before paying the appropriate fee. He had been told that the Expressway charges would arrive later that day and he could wait on the platform, which was surprisingly empty. some odd amount of time later, a massive beast that somewhat resembled a horse walked into and then through the station followed by a cabin and flat cart, Jez jumped up onto the flat cart as he played the cheapest fee for travel. As he was looking for a place to rest on the flat car, a trapdoor opened on the back of the cabin cart and a young face appears, "You need to get out of the wind, find a spot between the axle housing and the shock" before ducking back into the trapdoor while motioning Jez to follow. When Jez had slid down the trapdoor he found himself in a cluttered room filled with crates, "welcome to the underhule, it is used to keep the temperature and water sensitive goods like paper and grain, it is mostly unbought merchandise that the merchants don't care about, which is why the trap door wasn't locked,'' the youth from earlier explained. The journey would take mabey 13 days at most, so Jez just gave a nod and found a corner to sit in and started to meditate, strengthening his body fusing all energy he could find around and in him. As he did this unconsciously, he had little control over the process, and didn't notice the throbbing glowing veins that criss crossed his body. He had unlocked more of his bodies potential but it gave his aura a strange demeanor, if one stared at him, they would think that something is wrong, but they wouldn't be able to put a finger on what. He radiated this sense of wrongness, but it disappeared as quickly as it had appeared. Pain started to expand across his head, and he lost consciousness again, he woke up in his mind's eyes once more, this time in his mana sea, which had a massive mangled root pumping blood red mana into the pool, the liquid mana had taken a new hue too, that of dark blood. 'I wonder if this would be the corrupt blood state described by the chaos book?' Pondered Jez, 'I would expect so, it looks like chaos has totally permeated our mana, I bet that the Marital Core has also undergone some changes as well.' responded Jake, they both nodded in agreement before they faded out of the area and back to the real world.
Sorry for the delay as I took a little break from everything. I do plan on going back and revising and editing my previous chapters as they aren't the best I could have done. In other news, I am trying to get some help with writing which would mean that I would be able to write more, faster and hopefully at a better quality.-SE
