Can't Say Goodbye

"Oh, can we go over there?" A pinked haired girl sitting on a wheel hair asked upon seeing a book store. behind her, pushing the chair was a teen around 16 years old, he smiled warmly at the girl's request and nodded

"of course, anything for you." He said with a smile, the guy was a blue eye man with long blonde hair. He was handsome, with a body filled with muscles, although they were hidden by the suit he had on.

"Why do you love reading so much, I never got the point of it." The man said with a smile while looking at the girl looking around for a book to read. but she sighed helplessly hearing the man's words.

"You know read when you have to, just look at this book. this history book speaks on the events that happened 10,000 years ago when The Human Devil caused 99.999% of the human population to drop in only 1 year. it goes into his life, and how he destroyed thousands of years worth of humanity in a matter of 10 years, leading to his death." She said while pointing at a book, the man looked at the book for a moment, his eyes lacking for a moment with an annoyed look.

"you not a bit interested in such stories of the past? this one speaks about how because of his death, the world went through great changes, leading to the birth of Qi from heaven and earth. this one speaks on how mankind spent 10,000 years rebuilding itself, and through many wars and conflicts, the world we know today was built." She said while pointing out other books.

"What do you think of the human devil?" He asked with a smile, to which she frowned slightly at such words

"I dislike him... sure everything he did was out of revenge, but took it too far. I'm not even talking about how he destroyed thousands of years worth of mankind's hard work, his actions of targeting those who cross his weakest point and forcing them to do all types of evil is just... mean." She said softly, to which he smiled slightly and said nothing else.

the pink-haired girl went on to speak about matters about the best, things she thought were magical. such as how humans of the best could reach the moon, or how humans of the past could reach other planets without the need for Qi. such things only made her dislike the Humamn Devil even more for destroying such magical things

Soon she found a book that she never read, she quickly took it and went on to check the book out. after which, with the young man pushing her chair, they left and headed to a park to sit down.

"... what do you think of the human devil?" She asked while looking at the young man who was on his phone. the young man froze for a moment hearing her words, before shrugging.

"Same as the world... but I don't blame him, love does make a person do crazy things," he said with a charming smile, making her blush slightly while lowering her head. but upon seeing her feet, the blush disappeared and was replaced with a look of sadness. She bit her lips slightly,

she was a cripple, burn with a rare illness she was growing weaker by the day. She would soon die, she was only 16 at the moment, but she might not even make it to 20 years of age due to her illness.

Because of this, she was abandoned but was taken into a powerful family, known as the Golden-Lion. She was supposed to be the maid of the young master of this family, but instead, she ended up falling in love with him and their relationship grew, causing many to start spreading rumors.

She still remembered the day she was taken in. It was a day filled with a heavy snowstorm, and she was outside freezing to death when an expansive-looking car stopped before her. From the car, a young man with beautiful golden hair stepped out, his eyes were as clear as the clear blue sky.

Under the protest of his guards and caretaker, he took off the heavy snow coat on him and put them around her. the coat was created to defeat the cold weather, and she instantly felt her cold body start to warm up,

"What is a little kid like yourself doing out here? where is your home?" He asked softly, ignoring the cold hitting his body. the little girl shakily shook her head as tears ran down her eyes.

"I don't have one. my parents don't... they don't" She said softly, unable to put the last sentence together as she began crying.

"I see... I can't just leave you out here. let's get you all warmed up first because of way thing else." He said softly, stunning her

"Young master, you can't just take in a random person off the street." a woman said as she stepped forward, but their young master just smiled at her.

"But I want to help, I will deal with mother and father." He said with a smile, leaving her speechless at their young master, who was well known for his acts of kindness towards those less fortunate than him.

That day, her commoner life was changed, and she devoted herself to staying by her young master's side for the small amount of lifespan she had left. but she was unwilling to leave him, he had done so much for her and all she had been was a burden. she felt guilt each time he pushed her wheelchair, even though the chair could fly, he liked doing it, and she hated seeing him unhappy, so she could only allow him to push the chair.

"Cough, Cough." The young suddenly got up seeing her start coughing, she saw the drop of blood she coughed up, making him worry for her health. her face turned place, but she tried to put up a strong act before Sora.

the reason the young fell for her wasn't all that hard, he was in love with her pure heart. she was so kind and nice to everyone around her, even to those who treated her wrongly. She never held hatred towards them, something which he envied as he was not capable of such an act.

At most, she would dislike you but never hate you. She can see the good and bad within anything, and pity those who do wrong. even someone like the human devil was not hated by her, she only dislike him, while pitying what drove him to go down such a path.

"Sora, I'm alright." She said with a forced smile while looking into those clear blue eyes, which were like perfectly clear blue eyes. which is why his mother named him Sora,

"let's go see a doctor," Sora said seriously, he didn't give her a chance to say no and quickly pushed a button on her wheelchair, causing the wheelchair to suddenly zoom off, with Sora standing metal part of the wheelchair which allowed him to ride it, and control it.

"you don't need to go so far for me." She said softly, she would die sooner or later, was it worth such attention? but she was greatly moved, she knew better than anyone else she didn't have a few years,

And Sora soon found out, she only had a week to live. it turned out that living in an area filled with so much Qi was killing her faster, she knew but she didn't say a thing, wanting to stay by Sora's side. she knew Sora might try and move her somewhere else where they could stay together, but that would slow down Sora's cultivation, so she kept quiet.

"... you don't need to be sad for me." She said softly while Sora pushed her out of the hospital,

"stop talking like that... we would go to some village low on Qi, or I can hire someone to create something to block Qi around you," Sora said softly, before freezing once he saw a bunch of men in black suits, surrounding him.

in front of Sora, a path opened a woman stepped through and walked towards Sora with a cold glare, aimed not at Sora but at the pink-haired girl.

"What did I tell you?" She asked coldly, Sora was forbidden from going more than 2 miles from home without any guards. Sora didn't as most of the stuff he wanted was within 2 miles, so he never complained or anything. This was the first time he broke this.

this rule was placed for a simple reason, Sora didn't like guards around him. so this 2 miles range limit was placed for his safety. With his average talent, he would be seeking death walking the streets.

"I'm sorry," Sora said softly and simply walked past her, leaving her stunned on the spot, since when did her son ever just walk past like this? She wanted to explode, but she realize something was off, so she ordered a guard to get information on what happened within the hospital,

it didn't take long for her to be informed about the girl in the wheelchair's fate, allowing her to realize why the normal relaxed Sora just shrugged, her, his mother off like she was air.

before that girl came into Sora's life, Sora was a quiet kid who was a bit too smart for his age, yet he loved her and kept most of his time around her. this led the mother and son to grow up to be extremely close, although

but it all changed when that pink-haired girl came around, Sora completely changed, he became happier, more caring, and overall a good person. unlike before when Sora did something nice, she always got the feeling he was doing it for the sake of it, but out of the kindness of his heart.

She was jealous, why was Sora not as happy with her? he was even starting to spend less time with her, ignoring his promising future in business management, to spend time with a commoner who was slowly dying. Many times she wanted to kill that commoner, she didn't want her son to waste his life. but every time she thought of doing so, she couldn't bring herself to see how happy he seemed.

She let out a deep breath, it was a moment like this Sora needed her to be by his side the most. She couldn't help but feel bitter, the woman she disliked so much was about to die, yet didn't feel an inch of joy. just regret that she has been cold towards her,

10 days later, Sora sat on his balcony, with a bottle of wine in his hands. Sora was a person who found it hard to love, but when he did love something, he found it extremely hard to let go. many times in his past life, he found it hard for him to finish shows he was watching because he couldn't bring himself to say goodbye. writing a story, he would find it hard to finish the story,

Goodbyes sucks, he never learned to say goodbye. he never learned to let go. but what he did learn was how to love. Sora liked those who were pure because they showed him how beautiful this world is, even though at times it seemed so ugly. Sora was weak, he knew that very well. he was pathetic...

A knock suddenly came to form his door, without looking backward he simply allowed whoever it was to enter. slowly, his mother opened the door and entered. She frowned slightly smelling the thick smell of alcohol in the hair, and seeing how many bottles Sora had drank.

"... Lin had left something for you before her passing." She said softly while walking up to Sora with a box in her hands. She gave the box, which Sora took. Sora moved to open it, but he couldn't bring himself to do so. again, he was pathetic.

But when he felt something move within, he was stunned. opening the box, he saw a head poke out of the box, a baby iron looked around with its adorable blue eyes.

"She knew how hard it was for you to let go... so she got you this." She said softly, not sure if this gift was enough.

"she knew I always wanted a pet lion, but you wouldn't allow it," Sora said softly while picking up the little lion, with a soft smile. seeing this, she stepped back to give him some space, that was the first time she saw him die since her death.

Once she was gone, Sora let his emotions flow out, but after some time, he looked at the little Lion and noticed its name tag around its nake. it was called Lin, which was his ex-lover's nickname.

"so you're a girl, well I guess we should first go for a walk." He said softly, before getting up, with the lion in his hands...
