The Ice-cold Voice In The Dark
A familiar cold voice abruptly stopped the flow of Sue Terin's tears. Though she still refused to budge from her position, she did not know why but the voices in her head gradually calmed down. The screams and crying of the woman before her seemed to be stifled by the unknown presence behind her.
"Who are you? Why are you in my core? You shouldn't be here!"
Sue Terin was indeed on the verge of collapse but she was sane enough to recognize that her consciousness had withdrawn into the deep corners of her spiritual core. Hence, she was wondering for a good moment how a presence aside from her and the woman before her had entered her most sacred place.
She was a hundred percent sure it was neither of her contracted beasts nor it was Lordie from the system.
So, who was it? Why was the voice effectively calming?
