Meeting Grandpa
A month later
I have been getting used to living in the body of Chen daojun. I go to school everyday, study with my classmates and get average scores on exam. Life has been uneventful so far.
Mom and dad seems to have noticed the change with my behavior and talked with me about it. After assuring them everything is fine they were happy to know that their son is fine.
For the past month I have been waiting for the opportunity to meet grandpa and it has come now.
Tomorrow is Chen yangzhe birthday. My mom got a call from my grandma to come for my grandpa birthday party and mend the relationship.

In today meeting I have to ease the relationship between my father and grandpa. I should go and talk to mom and dad about tomorrow.
"Mom are we going to meet grandpa tomorrow"

"that right honey if we take this gift your father will definitely get angry" li hairen said with some worry on her face
"You are right but I don't know what dad really likes" Chen runji said with a wry smile
"Dad I heard my teacher saying that older people likes calligraphy and the calligraphy by Chinese master is very famous" Daojun said

Hearing of his grandson Chen yangzhe for the first looked at them. When Chen yangzhe eyes was on hengjun he saw that the boy doesn't have any deposition of a leader looks just ordinary and he quickly lost interest.
Under the eyes of grandpa hengjun barely sequezed the word's "Happy birthday grandpa" and grandpa just gave a nod.
Then Chen yanzhe turned his eyes towards the youngest and saw him looking straight into his eyes. For a moment suprise flashed in his eyes cause this boy eyes reminded him of when he was young and he wasn't terrified while looking straight into his eyes. "Happy birthday grandpa. I hope you live a long and healthy life" Daojun said
"Hmm, thank you daojun" Chen yangzhe said
"Hengjun and daojun come with me and I will take you to other kids to play" Chen yanzhe said and turned around.
Daojun came into a room filled with children and toys. He scanned the children and saw that none of them was any good and quickly lost interest. Little did daojun knows that Chen yanzhe was watching all of this and became even more curious.
He took daojun to another room."Daojun this is a horse that was imported from USA and I am going to give this horse to you.Do you like it?" Chen yangzhe wanted to test his grandson and see if what he saw something real or fleeting
Daojun also saw through this and was thinking how much shock should he give his grandpa.
'Let's see how he reacts to this' Chen daojun thought
"Grandpa instead of toy horse I like real horse. Instead of toy car I like real car." Chen daojun said
Chen yangzhe didn't expect his grandson to say such things which you could see from his shocked face but it soon changed to a solemn expression. He squatted down and asked" Daojun do you know what real means?"
"Yes I know. It is the things that you make grandpa like cars, ships,boats,tv" Daojun said
Chen yangzhe expression was serious but you could see that he was happy."Daojun if you want these real things you have to be smart and also face many hardships." he said
"It's okay grandpa I am not afraid of it" Daojun said with determination
"hahaha" Chen yangzhe laughed while smiling
"Daojun how did you know what grandpa does" Chen yangzhe asked with a curious expression
"I heard it from dad. Dad always told me that grandpa is a person who does great things and commands the life of hundreds of thousands of people due which he is always busy and cannot meet us. He also told me not to hate grandpa cause he is doing this to protect us. Dad also misses grandpa I saw dad reading news about grandpa deeds and looking sad." Chen daojun said with a sad face at the end
Chen yangzhe didn't thought that his son really missed him this much and he really understood his intentions, for a moment he was reminiscing about the past memories with his son. When his eyes fell on daojun he squatted down and hugged him tightly saying "thank you Daojun" and daojun just hugged him back.
After getting up Chen yangzhe had a new understanding of his grandson and wanted to see how much he could grow. So he decided to start cultivating him from young age.
"Daojun grandpa wants to give you a test.Do you want to try?" Chen yangzhe asked
"Test? Then that means there must be a reward right."Chen daojun asked
"Haha. Since it is a test of course there should be a reward. if you manage to get all A's in your next exam then grandpa will grant your wish ok"Grandpa said with a smile
"Okay it's deal. Grandpa just wait for my results" Daojun said with a confident smile
Grandpa left after patting my head and I decided to just stroll around the room.
