The small arguments in the Song’s family

Song Joo-won raised his head and stared at his sister for a long time.

He admired everything about her. Chae-yeong raised her head when she felt a gaze at her, and realized it was her twin bro that was staring at her. She raised her brow and interpreted, "What's wrong?".

Joo-won moved his gaze back to his plate finished his last spoon and stood up.

He wiped his mouth and walked away from the dining room to his room with his hands tucked in his pant pocket.

Joe-won felt something towards his twin sister when he was staring at her. He wanted to scold her for leaving him for those years.

He remembered what his stepmother told him when he was crying to meet his mom and his sister. Dal-rae would comfort him and tell him, "Your mother took your sister with her because she hates to see you and your father." He would cry and wouldn't want to believe it, but he never came back.

He remembered again when Dal-rae told him that "Chae-yeong was the reason his mom died, and she even refused to come to the family because she blamed all the family, including him, for being the cause of their mother's death."

Every time Dal-rae would poison his mind, spoiling Song Chae-yeong and telling him all sorts of things that made him hate his twin sister.

Dal-Rae spoiled Joo-won, pretending to love him, but it's all fake. She was trying to spoil him, so he could bring shame to the family. Whichever will make the family hate him. But Joo-won would control himself, yet, he's rude, arrogant, and never wanted to study occasionally.

Joo-won took his seat on the chair in the study room. " I don't understand why I feel like talking to her and wanted to scold her badly." He thought and shook his head.

"No, she's a bad person. She blamed me and even hated her family because of his mother's death." He thought and tried to shove the thoughts aside.

Down in the dining…

Everyone was done eating and stood up, so the maids could do their work and tidy up and clear up the table.

"We will soon be out to the rented hall where the banquet will be held," Tae-Hyundai said.

"Okay, Dad, I'll go call Big Brother," Ae-Cha said happily.

"Don't worry, I'll go get him." Chae-yeong quickly said sternly.

Ae-Cha looked at her mother's face and at her father's face.

"But you guys ain't on good terms. You haven't even got along, how would he even listen to you." Ae-Cha said and smiled innocently. But the profound meaning of what she said was mocking Chae-yeong.

"He is my blood brother. We ain't on good terms, and not getting along is none of anybody's business." Chae-yeong said sternly.

"Watch how you talk, Chae-yeong. Ae-Cha is also your sister." Tae-Hyundai said angrily to Song Chae-yeong.

Chae-yeong rolled her eyes and sneered. "I have only one brother that is my bloodline. Tell her not to mend in my matter or between me and my twin brother's matter." Chae-yeong said coldly.

"A-yeong go and get your brother." Old Madam Song said, calling her A-yeong as she used to call her when she was little.

The Old Madam Song turned her gaze back to her son Tae-Hyundai, Chae-yeong's father, with pleading eyes.

"Mom, you're spoiling this child. She just came back, and she's already like this. I won't take that from her, we all have to live like a happy family, not like this." Tae-Hyundai said angrily.

"You should understand A-yeong. Just give her some time, she will get used to her family later on. If you're going to be like this to your daughter, then I will not take that from you if you treat my granddaughter like this." Old Madam Song said and frowned.

"You don't have any right to be like that to A-yeong. We owed her a lot, and she's just not over her mother's death, and she never experienced the love of this family for so many years. If anyone in this family is not going to accept her behavior for now then you should be prepared to face my wrath even when I leave with her, you should behave well with her. If she reports anyone of you to me, then I won't be nice, you know the punishment if you disobey my order." Old Master Song said, scolding Tae-Hyundai angrily.

" I got that Dad, but Ae-Cha is also her sister, she should be nice to her. That's what I'm saying." Song Tae-Hyundai said calmly.

"We should also understand she is angry because it's your fault, you pushed my daughter-in-law away and caused her death. If you weren't a punk, you wouldn't have impregnated her and drove my daughter-in-law away. We all knew that she drove her away and yet pretended to be a good wife after causing my daughter-in-law's death." Old Madam Song said with tears streaming down her face.

Chae-yeong was moved, she had grandma and grandpa taking her side, so it was enough for her to be moved.

She walked to old Madam Song. "Grandma, please don't cry." She said softly, fighting back the tears that wanted to fall off her face.

Tae-Hyundai felt guilty and walked away sadly.

He has always felt guilty and wanted to set things right, but she died before he could do that. He loved her right from the beginning of love, but he didn't know how he cheated and turned out and impregnated Dal-Rae.

" You should know that you can never be like my daughter-in-law and I will never accept you. The sake you have and why you're still in my son's house is because of my grandchild Ae Cha. If not, you'd be gone a long time ago." Old Madam Song said angrily, referring to Dal-Rae.

Dal-rae was so angry, but she had to put on a show to look like a good wife to her in-laws.

She faked tears, looking so pitiful. Ae-Cha looked at her mother and walked to her, wiping her tears. She was so angry and felt like killing Song Chae-yeong at the moment.

"Mom, please don't cry," Ae-Cha said to her mom softly and turned her gaze to Song Chae-yeong. She glared at her with a killing eye and removed her gaze quickly.

"Grandma, please don't be like this. I would rather not be the one to cause problems for this family. Though I was angry about everything, I'm back to settle some matters here and make sure I light up what is dark and hidden from everyone." Song Chae-yeong said calmly that everyone in the living could hear clearly, and she turned her gaze to Ae-Cha and her stepmother, giving them a cold, fierce look before turning her gaze away.

"I'll go get my brother." She said again and walked to the stairs to her twin brother's room.

Joo-won could see and hear everything that happened back in the sitting room.

A knock sound came from the door.

After knocking for like twice, no response. Song Chae-yeong twisted the door knob, opened and entered without the permission to enter.

"I didn't ask you to come in, did I?" Joo-won said arrogantly, looking so cold.

"Whatever. Why are you like this, after so many years of not seeing your only blood sister, all you could think is giving her this cold attitude." Song Chae-yeong said softly and emotionally.

"Do you actually say that after so many years?, after you blamed everyone for being the cause of Mom's death, now you're here to destroy the family, and you're calling me your brother," Joo-won said coldly, raising her brow.

"I never blamed everyone for Mom's death, but I know who killed her and their plans to get rid of me, including your dumb head," Chae-yeong said angrily. Joo-won's eyes lit up curiously.

"You mean, you know? And planning to kill me and you? who?do you think I would believe you?" Joo-won said and sneered annoyingly. Though he wanted to believe her, he was confused. " Could it be that his stepmom had been lying to him all those years?" He thought.

" You don't have to believe me because I don't care. After all, you turned that woman into your mother and never wanted to know why your mother died, what caused the death, and who killed her. but you chose to believe that two-face woman while she poisoned your mind and lied to you for all those years." Chae-yeong said and snorted. Rolling her eyes annoyingly.

" What! How did…did you know she lied to me." Joo-won asked, looking surprised.

"I knew because I'm not stupid and dumb like you. Anyway, get ready to come downstairs, we'll be leaving soon." Chae-yeong said, not waiting another minute to explain anything. She then left his room back to the living room.
