Chapter Fourteen_Dinner Date

It's all about the phone that she couldn't see the trap that was laid right in front of her.

Nu Yanyan clicked her tongue,Lu Jingze then asked"What's the matter?"his voice was coated with concern.

Nu Yanyan dropped her phone down thinking that she should make the white lotus wait a little bit longer"Am just a bit hung..."

She didn't finish her words when a waiter approached the table with different types of delicacies and they were all her favorite.

Wait, how did he know that this were her favorite.

The waiter served them food"Mr Lu is such a gentleman"Nu Yanyan said in-between the food to clear up the akward air since she was the only one eating.

She hasn't had a good meal since she was reborn so she was really famished, only when she was half way through the food did she notice that Lu Jingze wasn't eating but Lu Jingze wasn't bothered about the food,he was more interested in watching her eat.

The scene alone warms his heart,he wondered if he could see this face every morning, when she talked with her mouth full made her look cuter even though her skin was pale.

"Mr Lu, would you like some?"Nu Yanyan politely asked,Lu Jingze looked at her impatient face, she couldn't wait to eat so he decided to be mischievous.

"Hm,am not sure so you'll have to stop eating until am sure"Nu Yanyan didn't know where that kind of rule came from,in her whole years of living with the He's, she had never come across this.

She looked at Lu Jingze amused face which was telling her that she was played with.

She frowned and lost her appetite, a notification popped up, she used it to check the time. She had probably kept the white lotus for more than half an hour.

"Mr Lu, thanks for this wonderful dinner. I'll love to eat with you some other time"she said politely when her phone pinged again.

Nu Yanyan looked at him but his phone was on the table throughout the meal, when would he have carried the phone.

Lu Jingze knew what was running through her mind but decided to remain clueless,if he wants to win this little woman's heart, he'd have to try harder even though he knows nothing about love.

It was actually Shi Rhue that had sent that message, before she had come to the dinner,Lu Jingze ordered Shi Rhue to send a plain message that conveys a sweet meaning to Nu Yanyan and with her gaze,he was sure that the message had been sent.

Nu Yanyan stood up from her seat in calm manner"thank you once again".

"it's my pleasure"Lu Jingze said and stood up escorting her outside the restaurant and to his car when there was a flash of light and then a car ran past them.

Nu Yanyan couldn't notice it as her eyes were glued to Lu Jingze admiring his handsomeness over and over again 'clink' Lu Jingze hand her a key"do you know how to drive?"he asked.

Nu Yanyan nodded subconsciously until she snapped out of it,she had wanted to say no, seeing Lu Jingze handing her over his keys,he seem to be telling her to go on without him while she was looking forward to ride with him.

"Shi Rhue,let her drive while you master her"Lu Jingze ordered Shi Rhue who was sitting on the driver seat,he immediately came out when he heard his boss talk.

"Go on without me,i have something to deal with"Lu Jingze said sweetly,th twoof them stood in an akward silence"Okay Mr Lu, I'll be on my way"Nu Yanyan said opening the door of the car and getting inside.

Lu Jingze watched the car leave before his eyes turned frightening dark,it shone more than the darkness surrounded around him.

He carried his phone"Find out the plate number of the car that just passed"then he hung up and without much stress,the person called him back and told him.

Lu Jingze snapped his neck and hands,after waiting for five minutes,a sport car appeared in his front. One of his was seated by the driver seat,Lu Jingze entered immediately and the car drove off blending with the dark disturbing the peace of the animals.
