CHAPTER 29: NEW SUBORDINATE; DRAGON

The blood dyed the black ground red

" Please. Let. Me. Go. "The dragon said using a lot of energy to lower its head

Jia looked like she was thinking for a while.

The dragon looked happy thinking she was going to spare it

She stretched her hand and a black energy swirl came out of her hand.

The black energy swirl touched the dragon's soul flame and played with it

The dragon's eyes pleaded with her not to extinguish its soul flame.

Jia retracted the energy swirls from the soul flame

Jia looked at the scales she had pulled off the dragon's body

"These seem sharp. I'm not going to pull off any more scales" Jia said.

The dragon breathed a sigh of relief

"However, I'm not going to let you go," Jia said with a cunning smile

'What is this insane human up to' The dragon thought to itself.

"Unless you serve me" Jia declared.

The dragon almost choked on air

"I'm a dragon. I can't serve a human" The dragon said spitting blood.

"Dragon pride huh? I can still collect more scales." Jia said coldly

Jia brutally ripped another scale off

"Will you?" Jia asked

"No, "The dragon said

" Little girl, You're so so cunning, "Damon said with a devilish smile

Jia forcefully established the master-slave contract with it.

Jia released the effects of the gravity law.

It slumped in front of her

Jia fed it a herb and all its lost body parts were regenerated

The system was shocked

[Ding! The host has acquired a new subordinate; Seven-headed Dragon. What Would you like to name it?]The system asked

"Feng " Jia replied

"Hello master," It said in a lifeless voice

[As a reward for making a dragon your subordinate, You have been granted the; Split cultivation technique]The system announced in its cold monotone voice

The system imprinted the technique on her mind. Jia reverted to human form and smiled.

"Fabulous. All my subordinates can absorb spiritual energy and send it to me. This is just OP" Jia said with a smile.

She put the dragon beside her to cultivate

The dragon absorbed the spiritual energy and transferred it to its purest form

Jia took a deep breath and started to absorb it

HOURS LATER

[Ding! The host has leveled up+3]The system announced

"Not bad," Jia said.

"Little girl, you are something," Damon said amused

Jia got up and decided to continue when a humanoid figure crashed into her. It looked badly beaten up with different scars across its body

"Zi?! What happened to you?" Jia asked shocked

"Reporting to master, that dungeon is really dangerous. I couldn't even get to the level where the ripper was. "Zi said in a serious manner

Jia channeled spiritual energy into it to slowly repair his wounds

"Alright, I'm done," Jia said panting.

Jia continued to move while Zi and Feng followed right behind her

"System can subordinate Feng accept Shapeshifting skill," Jia asked the system

[It can. It comes for 10 beasts cores]The system replied

"Zi, do you have any cores with you," Jia asked the war machine

"Yeah, A hundred of them" Zi replied

"Give me ten" Jia commanded.

He dropped ten cores into her hand.

The system took them so they disappeared from her hands

[Initializing process...The host is advised to make contact with the subordinate]The system said

Jia touched the dragon's body as the system asked

30minutes later

[Process is 100%complete]The system announced

"Feng, I've given you a shape-shifting skill in order not to arouse suspicion" Jia stated

Feng nodded calmly and shape-shifted into a human

He had Azure-colored hair and pitch-black eyes.

His features made him stand out

''Change the hair color "Jia ordered

Feng nodded and changed it to silver

Silver was not a rare hair color in this world

Jia hummed in satisfaction

Jia saw a beast egg lying there alone

Something drew her towards it

As she got there

A lion roared pounding Jia's head

" Sonic attacks?! "Jia exclaimed clutching her head

" You three look nice for food don't you think? The girl should be the sweetest " The lion said casually

Jia's face turned black and she cringed

It roared again slowing down Jia's movement

Jia could only whisper one word; "Attack"

"Oh, reserving the sweetest part for last? I'm not totally against it" The lion said with a sneer

Feng's eyes turned cold. Zi attacked first

Jia watched the fight from the sidelines

"A battle between powerful people is quite interesting," Jia said watching every single move

She noticed that the lion had gobbled up Zi and Feng

Jia raised an eyebrow and seemed amused.

A slicing noise was heard.

Zi had cut its way through the lion's body.

It began to bleed but it didn't show any emotions

All of a sudden, it began to scream in agony.

Blood trickled from its mouth unto the ground.
