When she went to bed she closed her eyes and started to think about her past life.
After the economic crisis at home, First, she worked as a home tutor, then after high school graduation with the help of Aster, she became a receptionist in Aster's uncle's company.
After one year, While working as a receptionist in the day and as a storekeeper in a grocery store at night, she gets admission to a local college. Though she never went to college regularly, she made her attendance record enough to let her take exams. By self-studying and from the notes borrowed from her friend whom she met at university during admission, It took her almost five years to pass with satisfactory grades.
After being a university graduate she was still working as a receptionist and hadn't applied for any other company.
But one day she met a shaman at the hospital who told her that she has a bright future but short life and many more things to her which she had not listened to further as she was already running late for her work.
When she returned home late that day, she remembered the shaman's words and tried her luck and applied to many well-known and famous companies offering good salaries but she didn't receive any calls from anyone. So she had thought that shaman to be a fraud.
One day almost 7 months after she submitted her application form she got an unexpected call from the state's largest company Lewis enterprise.
Where she applied for an internship in their subsidiary company as their salary for interns was as much more than hers as a receptionist in her current company.
But she didn't even have one percent faith that she would be selected with that grade of hers even in its branch company let alone its headquarter where she was asked to come.
When she reached Lewis enterprise the other day then she was offered to work as a secretary instead of an intern. As the salary was quite higher than combined with all jobs she was working so without hesitation she accepted the proposal.
The next day when she went to work as a secretary, her manager showed her around the office and took her to meet her employer then she got dumbstruck when she saw an old man who was in his late seventies.
About 6-7 months ago, as usual, she was going to her work when she witnessed a hit and run case, the person in the driver's seat had died and this old man was struggling to get out of the car but nobody was willing to go near him so she took the initiative to help him.
Seeing helping her, a passerby also started to help him move out of the car. She was getting late for her work then when the ambulance arrived she started to leave the place quickly but the old man didn't lose his grip on her hand and she had to accompany him to the hospital.
