Ann pursed her lips lightly, "Finn, I told you last night to give me some time. You see, I'm having a hard time accepting you," she said.
Finn looked at her while Ann couldn't figure out his emotions because he was so good at hiding them. It made her feel terrified.
Ann couldn't figure out whether she offended him with her words. It made her uneasy because Finn told her he would wait for her, but she couldn't guarantee that his waiting would bear fruit.
After all, Ann still preferred that Finn wouldn't change himself for her. She also regretted that she interfered with Amy and Finn's intimacy because she seemed to hurt him.
She had never been so contradicting to a man's wants. When she was still with Chris, she obeyed him so much that Ann treated him with all her heart. She sincerely handed herself over to him without worries. She didn't know why she couldn't do the same thing with Finn.
