Florence noticed Evander's expression and knew he was starting to trouble himself about his legs again.

So, she walked over and stood behind the wheelchair. She leaned over and whispered in his ear, "Don't worry about your leg. It'll be fine! You're a hundred times better than him."

Florence's warm breath on his ears was like a feather gently rubbing against his ear, itchy and numb.

He wanted to manipulate his wheelchair to keep his distance from her, but Florence stood up before he could move. She approached him from behind and waved, "I'm going to check on Gabriela first, and I'll be home before nine."

A home? Since when did she take this as her home?

Florence had already left, so she couldn't see Evander's reaction to her words.

She drove directly to the Greer family.

"Mr. Greer and Mrs. Greer, good evening."
