Chapter 9

Ryan leaned on the back rest of the bench as the cool wind passed by , blowing their hairs to danced with them . Gab's breathing made him feel that his wife is depending on him . Gab clinging tightly unto him . It just makes him feel incredible . Ryan softly rubbed Gab's back and suddenly want to bind Gab with himself forever . He hopes they could spend their time together as husbands like this from now on .

Cuddling like this probably makes their relationship closer this way . Ryan could even hear Gab's loud heartbeat bringing a smile to his usually cold eyes .

( Note : Ryan's eye expression resembled that of a kuudere in anime . )

Time passed and Ryan suddenly saw Rose running from a far but he immediately diverted his gaze when he noticed crows pecking on the grains being dried not too far away , he immediately pulled the strings beside him and the bell connecting to the scarecrow suddenly rang out shooing the birds away .

Rose stepped out of the house while holding a small cute square rattan basket . She exited the gate and walked outside , curiously looking at the busy farmers pushing carts of grains to be pounded . Rose trotted over and followed the farmers .

" Hello , little girl . " Greeted a young man pushing a cart just like them. 

The smart looking toddler waved her little hands to him . " Hello too , brother . "

Rose run towards their direction and saw several farmers resting under the shade of a big tree.  Some people were sitting on bundles of hays , while the others are eating breakfast. 

" Is your family harvesting too? " Asked the young man and put the hays on top of the bundles .

Rose nodded . " They are almost finished , they were already hulling the first batch . "

" Oh that's good news . "

" You're quite busy there hah , brother . Do you need help?"

The young man with tanned skin chuckled and shook his head in refusal . " You're too thin little girl , i bet you couldn't even drag a single bundle of hay here . "

" You're right.  " Rose nodded and bit on a dry banana chips .

" You're surprisingly honest , little one.  "

" As I have always been . "

Several men in their late 30's , 40's and above chuckled at their interaction .

One old man came to Rose and asked gently . " Why are you not playing with the other kids? "

Rose followed the old man's gaze and saw a group of kids nearby playing games that she doesn't know . " I'm still new here , grandpa , and i don't have any friends i know here . "

Grandpa John stared at the smart toddler with amusement . " Then make friends with them . "

" Are they good people? Grandpa? "

Grandpa Johns chuckled and nodded . " They are good kids . "

" Really? " Rose blinked her eyes and stared at the old man's eyes .

" Really " assured the old man .

" They don't hit new babies like me? "

" Why would they hit you though? You're a pretty girl . "

Hearing the words pretty , Rose smiled brightly and nodded vigorously . " Yes! I'm pretty! "

" Hahahaha " the men busying around who were secretly listening burst out of laughter simultaneously .

Their laughter caught the attention of the playing kids and looked at their direction . Then they saw a little toddler holding a square rattan basket chatting with them expertly .

They saw Old Grandpa John pushing the little girl to their direction .

" Are you still short on players? Here's a new kid here . "

The children gathered around Rose and started chatting . Rose showed them her basket and shared them her dry banana chips that was given by Aunt Eva .

They played for a while but as time passed by.  Rose discovered one thing .

And that was ...

She cannot communicate with them properly . They were too naive and annoying that Rose started feeling a bit irritated . That's when she noticed how different she was compared to the normal toddlers .

But Rose eventually found a way to communicate with them by acting a bit arrogant . That was how Rose became the alpha in the society of the kids . Whatever she says , everyone believes her . Whatever they asked , Rose expertly answered them . Rose was like a small boss leading a bunch of naive kids around the village while also boasting how knowledgeable she was .

She even taught them the nursery rhyme his brother taught to her .

A few days later , the whole Willow Village watched from afar as Rose leads a group of children while singing Incy Wincy Spider . While singing , they were also playing spiders . Their milky voices were particularly a music to their ear bringing indulgent smile upon their faces .

One woman would suddenly say out of nowhere . " That's my son , he's so cute right? "

" Incy Wincy Spider Climb Up the Water Spout . My daughter looks so cute singing this song . "

" Have you noticed that Ryan's sister-in-law was particularly smarter than any other normal kids ? "

" Hayss , how i wished my daughter is also like that . My daughter did nothing else but poop everywhere ."

" Hahaha , the same for me . I even have to feed my son spoon by spoon because he spoils a lot of food in the table during meal time . "

Week had passed as the rice grains are finally polished . Looking at the sacks of white rice stored in the storage house . The trio couldn't help feeling proud of their accomplishment .

" Are you planning on selling part of the rice tomorrow? " Gab turned to look at Ryan at his side and asked .

Ryan stared back at him and nodded.  " Do you want to come with me to the town? "

Before Gab could respond to him. The little toddler listening at the side immediately jumped to the front and held Ryan's hands with an excited look . " We'll go with you , go go go . "

Gab chuckled and nodded inwardly . Ryan on the other side smiled and nodded . " Ok , but you have to behave ok? "

Rose nodded . " Don't worry , I'll remain behaved . "

Gab then said . " Good girl . "

Rose smiled brightly and run away to boast this news to her friends in the village again . When Gab and Ryan were left alone together again . The two started blushing like fools and turned their heads away .

Week had already passed but they still remain awkward with each other . The only thing that changed was that Gab became more tolerant of Ryan's subtle advances . Such as touching his waist , hands , or even cuddling every night .

Gab also enjoyed cuddling with Ryan and realized that no wonder most single person in the modern world wants to have a boyfriend/girlfriend . It was because of the power of cuddling . Even he became addicted to it .

While getting more addicted to it , Gab also did not realized how his relationship with Ryan became more intimate . During the days these past few days , Gab never starved and his body gradually turned back to how he used to be , and because of his regular baths everyday , his skin became more soft and plumpy making Ryan feel more tempted to bite .

Gab wanted to let Ryan use his shampoo and soap , but he's afraid that his space will get exposed . For now , he's still coming up with a solution to this small problem .

He and Gab went into the poultry and cattle ranch pen . The two started feeding the livestocks and poultries , enjoying the leisurely life of a well off farmer .

Rose brought hays before when she socialized around the village . She unexpectedly managed to get almost all of the approval and good impressions of the villagers in Willow Village . Everyone likes her .

Gab however did not have a time to roam around the village ever since he got married . He prefered to farm alone than waste his saliva to socialize but he does admit that socializing also brings benefits. In exchange for a sack of white rice , Rose brought back a lot of hay bundles after giving the rice to the village head .

Grandpa John was actually the village head of the Willow Village . Rose was really talented when it comes to communicating .

While feeding the cattles with dry hays , Gab suddenly remembered that he still owed Aunt Yassi some silver coins . He almost forgot because of his peaceful life these days that they still owed some things in their former village .

Ryan came up behind him and suddenly asked . " What are you thinking ? " He has always been observing Gabriel's face all the time and Gabriel the always alert man naturally knows of it but he was already accostumed to it after being stared at by Ryan all the time .

He looked back and didn't noticed how intimate and close their bodies were and still replied . " I remember that i owe some coins to our former village . I still have some coins saved in my bamboo bank so i think we have to pass by the Topiary Village . "

Ryan frowned and said . " Why do you have to fork out your savings when you can just ask your husband for it? "

Gab's heart suddenly thumped when he heard that from Ryan's mouth . He suddenly thought that Ryan's words just now resembled a rich , tall , and handsome husband who has a domineering attitude and could slap every commoners with paper bills . Gab felt that he was being pampered just now .

Gab immediately shook his head in refusal.  " That's what i owe before i married you . How can i have the face to ask you for money? "

" What's wrong with it though? You're my wife , what's mine is also yours.  "

Gab blushed and glared at Ryan . " You're getting bolder and bolder now hah.  "

A faint smile surfaced upon Ryan's countenance looking like a grinning devil . " Because you're tolerating me . "

Gab sneered and continued feeding the cattles again .

Ryan at the back on the other hand silently stared at his back and thought to himself .

' Can Gab tolerate him if he advances more ? '

Ryan immediately stopped himself . They are already awkward , he can't worsen it. 

When Gab finished his business he immediately stood up to remove his wet shirt . " I'll go take a bath . "

Gab went to the bench and wipe his sweaty face before heading towards the bath house . Ryan on the other hand has his eyes staring at his naked upper body all the time . Ryan gulped then reluctantly diverted his gaze with thoughts straying off to the adult world again .

Ryan doesn't know why but whenever Gab said that he's going to take a bath . He felt like Gab was inviting him to join in . Ryan sighed dejectedly and went back to the house to drink water and cool off his boner .

Always being half naked was normal for men , but for gays , it's not ... So Ryan always diverted his eyes whenever Gab removes his shirt . Ryan thought that a Reciever's upper body were just the same as women's boobs .

Gab was oblivious of Ryan's thoughts . He thought that exposing his upper body is letting Ryan know that he is also developing his own abs and is not much inferior to Ryan's body , but deep inside , Gab is still feeling frustrated by his small body .

Gab decided to take out three new toothbrushes and put it inside a wooden cup . He hopes Ryan wouldn't ask him about the origin of its materials . Taking out a marker , Gab started writing their names on each toothbrush and looked at them with a satisfied eyes . He then took out a glass container and remembered that glasses were already invented albeit expensive .

Then he started putting the toothpaste in the glass them carefully closed the lid .  He did the same thing to the shampoo and body wash , labeling them with marker after it. 

He then pinned a paper full of instructions on the wall them exited the bathhouse with a satisfied smile .
