7 Rewards and Recruitment
Narrator POV
There was a silence that followed Superman's words, well out loud anyway, because the only thing that Nathan was thinking in that moment was
'Well shit, they have seen my face and by now batman has probably already done 20,000 background checks on me and only found bad things, which only makes me believe those words were meant to be threatening'
Nathan was quick to adopt a serious battle stance, although it might have only looked like he tensed up a bit the trained eyes of the league saw it was quite obvious. Superman chuckled and said
"Now you listen here young man, I don't think it is a smart idea for you to start a fight here, in public. And anyway, there is no need to feel threatened we just wanted to talk to you about what you have bee up to with your powers"
Nathan stood still tense and said,
"alright but you listen here, I don't like the way that most of you are looking at me"
Although they were subtle, Nathan was able to see some angry and disappointed glares in his direction, and his statement was quick to turn those gazes of anger into shocked ones. He stopped his fighting stance, he then felt like something was about to hit him so he quickly turned his head to the left and managed to dodge a Batarang that managed to slice his cheek a little bit resulting in him hearing a {DING}. He looked on in surprise and saw that Batman had thrown it at him making Nathan quite angry. He quickly turned on his Dominance aura to the max making the weaker willed people fall to the ground but only made the justice league falter in their steps. In his aura something similar to a demon riding a dragon (not in that way perverts) could be seen while laughing and pointing at them. (if you see the similarity of this scene to a certain anime, you have my respects). Nathan was quick to shoot a massive wall of golden fire at the Justice League, but then turned around and burned the batarang with his blood on it as well as burned his blood that was on the ground. Before using his demon feet to travel as fast as he could away from the scene, leaving a clear imprint off his feet on the ground. The last thing that the Justice League saw was Nathan turning into a blur in the sky leaving only a golden/orange gleam in the sky. Superman quickly turned to Batman in anger and said
"What were you thinking, he was about to come peacefully, even you should have been able to see that Bru--Batman. He had stopped being tense could see he muscles on their way to being fully relaxed. I get that the kid doesn't have the best history ever but that gives you no right to engage into combat with him!"
"You know what I did make sense, looking at it know I should have done something as soon as I saw him, he is a risk and today just goes further into proving that, thankfully I know all the places that he could have gone and I seemed to have underestimated his powers, although they are still in their infantile stages they are powerful...Now we need to deal with the other problem at hand...the ones we can actually control, *Batman faces the group of kids*, You"
Batman says before the members of the Justice League look at them, with only Superman looking at the golden gleam and sighing before facing the matters at hand.
Nathan POV
Holy shit, did that just happen...SSSSHHHHIIITTTT! I was currently flying towards my apartment before a shit ton of notifications hit me all at once.

'Shit. I could have gotten a permanent luck stat *SIGH* alright, I guess I will just have to wait until get the potion or whatever it is to reverse the bad luck. Other than that, the rewards aren't too bad, alright system spin the two gachas at the same time while I am flying and tell me the rewards I got when I arrive at my apartment.

Narrator POV
Nathan arrived at his house and was suddenly hit with two notifications
Normal gacha ticket reward: a pair of superman socks...that's it folk nothing special about it just a normal pair of socks
Epic gacha ticket: The ALL SEEING EYES OF GOD (but your eyes stay the way they are and project a red circle instead of blue) (Here is a photo)
'Holy shit...'
Nathan thought to himself before all of a sudden his eyes started burning incredibly hard making him crouch down clutching his head thinking
'HOLY SHIT!'
He was clutching his head when all of a sudden a hand landed on his shoulder making him look up and see...Superman? He was quick to jump back up and backwards before looking around and seeing him surrounded. but for some reason he saw more then just that, he looked up and made eye contact with the Martian Manhunter who was currently invisible, he felt like he could, well, see much more then he usually did. He was looking around in amazement before he felt something try and enter his head making him jump up and do a palm thrust towards the chest of Martian Manhunter but his palm went through Manhunter before he landed on the ground again. He looked around him and spotted a couple of different heroes, excluding the ones he has already seen such as, Batman, Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman, and Wonder Woman. Nathan quickly said
"Wow, nice of you guys to drop in. Had you given me some more time to get prepared I would have been able to clean up the place and make some food."
A couple of heroes cracked a smile but Batman, as usual, remained unreadable. Nathan was quick to notice that they were all still on edge so he did what any human in an unbeatable situation would do, he sat down on his favourite chair and invited the league to sit down as well. Nathan then asked
"Is my mother somewhere safe? Or did you just kick her out of the house as well"
"I promise that she is safe Nathan"
Surprisingly Batman spoke and they all crowded towards the small sofa and couple of chairs, Nathan sighed and said
"Did you tell her about... You know, my powers. Or does she still not know"
"I am sorry Nathan but you left us no choice"
Superman said as Nathans aura flared a little and said
" I am pretty sure that there was plenty of choices left, and this was definitely not your only one. But I guess she had to find out at some point, I would have preferred if it came from my mouth but...at least she knows now. I guess you have questions, about me that is."
"We do"
Batman said as Nathan nodded his head as if saying 'go ahead'
"first of all given your background give me one good reason I shouldn't put you in prison, especially now that you have these powers."
Batman said, as Nathan cleared his throat and said
"Simple, haven't you all done something that you have regretted when you were younger, I would assume so because being young means making mistakes and it took me the incident that lead to my powers appearing to understand that my bullying and being a narcissistic prick to everyone was a mistake. Which is why I wanted to be a hero. Too, in a sense, make up for my mistakes. Which is why you shouldn't take me to prison"
Batman nodded and was about to say something until Superman cut in and said
"You said there was an incident that lead to your powers, what was that incident"
"hmmm, well that is kind of a sire subject for me since I did technically die there 'or at least the previous owner did' But I guess I can reveal what happened. I was walking home from school, alone when all of a sudden a person that I used to bully pushed me into an alleyway and started chopping me up with a machete. Of course as I was dying my powers kicked in and burned him into nothing. But it was at that moment that I realised that being a bully wasn't the answer, I still have the scar from the event, if you want me to prove it"
The entire League looked a bit uncomfortable, but Batman said
"Show me"
So Nathan stood up and slowly took of his "vigilante shirt" (read as black t-shirt) and on his chest was a couple of crossing slash marks that made crosses (like this shape X) all over his chest and down his stomach, He then put his shirt back on and sat down. Nathan looked at the group of heroes before saying
"Anymore questions, or do you want to get to the actual point of this meeting"
The entire League, the ones that were there, looked at each other before Superman said
"Well, the reason that we wanted to meet with you is to ask you whether or not you want to join the young Justice team. Before you ask it is basically a team of our protégées and some others that we have deemed worthy. So what do think?"
"I think that sounds good. But what about my mom. Who will take care of her, I need to make sure that she is safe"
"Good, and about your mother, we were thinking about moving you and your mom to the area where you and your new teams base is. Of course, you will live in the base with your new teammates but you can always visit your mother as she will live 30 minutes, at most, away"
Superman replied to Nathan, as Nathan took a thinking pose and said
"Alright I am willing to try out this Young Justice team, but if I do join then you have to promise to give my mom a certain amount of money, I don't know how much yet, for every mission I do. I am asking for this because I am risking my life, the only life that my mother has left in our family, to protect the world. So you better give us some monetary compensation. That's all for right now. So now let's get to packing, Since you are all here why don't you help with that and be my 'Heroes'"
Nathan adopts a Cheshire grin as the heroes look at each other before sighing
Timeskip Nathan POV
I can't believe I managed to both blackmail, sort of, and force The Justice League to help me pack what little valuables we had in our house. I mean that has to be some sort of feat that no one has ever done before. Anyway, right now I was in my mom's new house and we were unpacking all of our stuff, I noticed that she looked sad but I decided to ignore that for now as I had more important things to think about
'Alright let me quickly see if I got the info right, I have now joined the Young Justice team, after helping most of them free Superboy. Now I am in a new house in Happy Harbor where my mom is going to live as I need to live in the mountain which I think is quite stupid but it is obviously a way for them to try and see if I have fully changed or if it is all an act. But for now it is important to try and keep story line but I will change major plot points such as ^&#(&$#@$$@ $@@#@ [An: You really thought I was going to reveal the plot of my story to you...Damn, to shame with you...To shame. :) ]
After a while of thinking I looked at my mother and said
"We need to talk...Don't we."
