The explosion that fused Jade's blood with his father's experimental substance had altered him in ways he didn't yet understand. On the run ever since, he'd been trying to find answers, staying low and avoiding trouble. But trouble had a way of finding him.
**somewhere in Canada**
Jade's journey brought him to the Canadian wilderness—a vast, cold expanse that offered solace and anonymity. But the solitude was short-lived. One night, a violent commotion broke out in the woods, startling Jade from his makeshift camp.
Metallic clangs and furious snarls echoed through the darkness, followed by a voice dripping with sarcasm:
"You're getting slow, Logan! Maybe it's time to trade those claws for a walking stick!"
Jade crouched low, creeping toward the noise. From behind a thick cluster of trees, he saw them: Wolverine and Deadpool locked in combat.
Logan moved like a beast unleashed, claws flashing as he tore through the air. Deadpool was his perfect foil, agile and unpredictable, dodging each slash with a witty remark.
"I'd give that last swing a 6 out of 10—points for effort, but zero for style!" Deadpool quipped, flipping over a fallen log.
Jade froze. He'd heard of mutants, of them, but seeing them battle in the flesh was surreal. His heart pounded as he realized who they were, but before he could retreat, Deadpool's masked face turned toward him.
"Peekaboo!" Deadpool called out, pointing one katana at Jade. "We've got company!"
Logan's piercing gaze locked onto him. "Kid, you need to—"
Before Wolverine could finish, armed soldiers burst from the underbrush, their weapons trained on the trio.
The soldiers were swift, injecting sedatives that immobilized their targets. Jade fought to stay conscious, but the world spun, and darkness overtook him.
When he woke, he was strapped to a cold metal table under harsh fluorescent lights. Beside him, Wolverine growled as he strained against his restraints. Deadpool, for his part, seemed unbothered, humming a cheerful tune.
"Welcome to the lair of Dr. Evil's knockoffs!" Deadpool said brightly. "Relax, kid. This is just their way of saying hello. And by 'hello,' I mean experimenting on us until we cry for our moms."
Logan shot Deadpool a glare before turning to Jade. "Who are you? What do they want with you?"
Jade hesitated, his voice hoarse. "I don't know. I was just... in the wrong place at the wrong time."
"Doubt it," Logan muttered, sniffing the air. "There's something off about you. Smells like… us."
Deadpool cocked his head. "Oh, you're one of those. Let me guess—tragic backstory, secret powers, probably glowing eyes? Tell me I'm close."
Before Jade could respond, the door burst open, and a group of scientists entered, their faces obscured by masks.
"Let's see what makes this one tick," one of them said, rolling a tray of syringes closer.

The scientists injected Jade with a serum designed to amplify his abilities. Agony coursed through his veins as the substance collided with the experimental compound already in his blood. His body convulsed, the pain unlike anything he'd ever felt.
Logan snarled, his claws extending as he thrashed against his bonds. "Let him go, you bastards!"
Deadpool watched with uncharacteristic silence, his eyes narrowing behind his mask.
Suddenly, Jade's body stopped shaking. His breathing steadied, and a strange, radiant energy seemed to envelop him. The restraints holding him snapped as he sat up, his eyes glowing a silvery hue.
"What the hell?" Logan muttered.
Jade looked down at his hands, electricity sparking at his fingertips. Before he could process what was happening, a guard rushed him. Instinct took over, and Jade lashed out. To his shock—and everyone else's—a set of claws, eerily similar to Logan's, extended from his hands.
The room fell silent.
"Okay, that's new," Deadpool said, breaking the tension.

The Escape
The guards opened fire, but Jade moved faster than he thought possible. He dodged the bullets with uncanny agility, his body reacting as though it had been doing this for years.
Logan took advantage of the chaos, snapping his bonds and charging into the fray. His claws sliced through soldiers with brutal efficiency.
"You're not bad, kid," he grunted, slashing through a line of guards. "But you're no Wolverine."
Deadpool, meanwhile, was having the time of his life. "Woo! It's like Die Hard, but with mutants!" He deflected bullets with his katanas, laughing as he took down guard after guard.
Jade tried to focus, but his powers were overwhelming. Energy surged through him, and without warning, he unleashed a shockwave that sent guards flying. Logan and Deadpool stumbled, both looking at him in stunned silence.
"What the hell was that?" Logan demanded.
Deadpool clapped his hands. "Ladies and gentlemen, we've got a hybrid! Claws and energy blasts? Somebody call Marvel; we need a new action figure stat!"
The scientists watching from the observation deck scrambled to contain the situation, but it was too late. Jade, Logan, and Deadpool fought their way through the facility, leaving a trail of destruction in their wake.
Outside, the trio regrouped, catching their breath as the cold night air hit them. Logan turned to Jade, his expression serious.
"Kid, what's your story?"
Jade hesitated. "I don't know. My dad was working on something—genetics, enhancements. There was an explosion, and… I changed."
Logan nodded slowly. "Whatever they did to you, it's not over. Weapon X doesn't let go."
Deadpool sheathed his katanas. "Well, looks like you're stuck with us. Welcome to the mutant club, rookie."
Jade looked at them, a mixture of fear and determination in his eyes. "What happens now?"
Logan's claws retracted as he turned toward the horizon. "Now? We fight back."

Unbeknownst to them, a figure watched from the shadows, a sinister smile playing on their lips. A communicator crackled to life:
"Subject Jade Carter is progressing as expected. Prepare for Phase Two."
The figure stepped into the light, revealing themselves to be none other than Mr. Sinister.
