Jay, a simple grocery store owner son, who tragically passed away due to sleeping with his laptop, which overheated and caused the battery to explode. However, he awoke in a mysterious realm of darkness and met an entity named Chaos. After a brief exchange, Jay was granted three wishes. He chose to be born into the world of "A Song of Ice and Fire" and gained partial powers akin to Cadis Etrama Di Raizel, though using them came at the cost of his life force. Jay found himself reborn as an infant in a Valyrian family with striking features distinct from Valyrian. Confusion and heated arguments filled his new surroundings. He was later taken outside, discovering he was in Old Valyria, a land of dragons and towering buildings. The father summoned a dragon and engulfed Jay in flames, but instead of harm, Jay felt an unusual sensation and remained unscathed. The family was bewildered by Jay's unique appearance, with black hair and red eyes, unlike the Valyrians. Jay drifted into slumber, leaving many unanswered questions in this unfamiliar world.
As Vahaemorys proceeded to his chamber, Vaeloria expressed her concern, saying, "My King, I couldn't help but feel those children were innocent." Vahaemorys stopped in his tracks and replied, "It's not something I wanted to do either. Showing weakness to my enemies, even for a moment, could be my downfall. There's no room for a kind and strong king, only a strong one. I must learn to use my enemies and discard those I cannot control even with cruel means."
Returning to his chamber and closing the door with the true dragons inside, Vahaemorys continued, "Now, it's time to discuss more pressing matters. We have many young dragons to care for, and with their current strength, they cannot create human avatars. They might only be able to shape-shift in about ten years. While they could fool humans with shape-shifting, it won't work on the invaders; they'll see through the disguise. We can't control them all the time, and they need their freedom. It's in the nature of true dragons."
Typharon chimed in, "Indeed, my king. We can't be certain of their safety as they grow. They'll become more wild and challenging to control. Only your presence seems to make them obedient."
Vahaemorys nodded and explained his plan, "I have a solution. Take the young ones and most of the elder dragons to Sorthoryos. Let them grow and thrive there for now."
Drakaroth hesitated for a moment before bringing up an issue. Vahaemorys looked at him attentively, ready to address the concern. Drakaroth began, "My King, there is a problem we must consider."
Vahaemorys furrowed his brows, inquiring, "An issue? While Sorthoryos may be challenging for humans, I believe it's a suitable habitat for dragons."
Drakaroth elaborated, "The issue lies in transporting the young ones and other dragons without drawing unwanted attention. While we can conceal our auras, the young ones cannot. Even a slight hint of their presence may alert the ever-vigilant Invaders. Only within Valyria are we safe from their prying eyes, thanks to the array we've established here."
Vahaemorys nodded, considering the challenge. "We can create a transportation array between Valyria and Sorthoryos. It should be large enough to accommodate elder dragons and be activated at any time."
Vaeloria voiced her approval, saying, "A wise choice, my King."
Curious about his intentions, Vaeloria asked, "Is there a specific reason for constructing such a sizable array and choosing Sorthoryos?"
Vahaemorys smiled mysteriously, replying, "Sorthoryos is of little interest to the invaders and of great interest to me. As for the large array, I have my own arrangements for it."
With this matter resolved, the true dragons returned to their cave, while Typharon remained behind to guard Igneel during his transformation. Vahaemorys decided it was time to rest, preparing for the challenges that awaited him on the tomorrow.
The following morning, Vahaemorys roused his servants, prepared himself, and shared a somewhat awkward breakfast with his mother, Nelaessa. She had always been a woman of strength and capability, proud of her abilities. However, now imprisoned alongside a stranger who outshone her in both magic and beauty, jealousy had taken root. Vahaemorys couldn't help but notice the shift in her demeanor.
After breakfast, Vahaemorys headed to Valyria's main tower for the council meeting, representing House Narnareon. This time, no one stood in his way or tried to prevent his attendance. He confidently took his place in the main seat, disregarding the glances of the other dragon lords. One of them dared to make a request, saying, "Young Lord Vahaemorys, I hope my words do not offend. It is a rule established by our ancestors. Heirs are not permitted to perform lordly duties until they reach the age of ceremony."
Vahaemorys responded with a smile, "So you suggest I leave?" He then reconsidered, adding, "No, young lord, you can attend today's council meeting. It will be a valuable experience for you."
He further declared, still smiling, causing headaches for the other dragon lords, "In my absence, my mother will represent me as an adult."
They reluctantly agreed, secretly hoping that Nelaessa wouldn't oppose their ambitions. Throughout the meeting, plans were discussed for their conquest of Westeros. They are also planning to establishment of their westernmost outpost on the isle soon to be known as Dragonstone. Vahaemorys's smile remained unnoticed by the assembly.
Returning to his chamber after the council meeting, Vahaemorys turned his attention to a map of the known world. With a quill in hand, he carefully marked the map with ink. He designated Sorthoryos as the location where he intended to keep all the dragons hidden from the world's view. Then, he marked Andalos as the spot where he envisioned the future city, and eventually, a kingdom or even an empire would be built there. A smile of satisfaction graced Vahaemorys's face as he made these marks on the map.
