Chapter 3

(Thunder strikes)

'Where am I what's going on, FUCK!!! My head.'

"So that's what happened, my new name is now Ivan mikaelson. I'm five years old and Klaus is my younger twin, well this should be interesting."

(the next morning)

Esther- "Ivan Mikaelson get out of that damn bed! And help me clean up before your father gets home!

Ivan- 'damn it why didn't I choose to be older now I have to do all the stuff a kid would do.'*sigh*

"I'm coming mom, give me a moment to get dressed!"

(five minutes later)

"What do you need me to do mom?"

"First you need to take all these damn animals outside, and then take a rake and get all the shit off of the floor."

"But why do I have to do it, why can't the others do it?"

"First off because you were the one to bring them in. Second is because Finns off doing Odin knows what, and Elijah's off hunting with your father and Klaus went with them to prove he's not as weak as Mikael told him."

'Dang it, why didn't I just go with them well it's too late now.' "Ok, mom I will do it, is that all?"

"yes, and when you finish that make sure you go to the river and clean up so that you can help me cook dinner."

(3 hours later)

Mikeal- " Ester we are back and we caught a stag we would have had two (looks at Niklaus) if this useless boy hadn't missed and scared it away."

Niklaus- "It's not my fault I told you the bow was too big for me you just wouldn't listen to me!"

"Boy, it looks like you need to be taught some respect (Slaps Niklaus) now get up and keep quiet!"

Esther- "That's enough mikeal you've made your point already so stop. And Niklaus you know better than to talk back, why can't you be like Ivan he does what he's told and never talks back.

Niklaus- "That's not fair mother, it's because he's never been hunting with father. He always gets to stay here with you, how about you send him hunting next time."

"Do you believe he's better? I mean we've never seen him trying to hunt? If so Ivan the next time your father goes hunting you will go with him."

"Ok mother I will try my best to not mess up the hunt, what do you think Elijah?"

Elijah- well to be honest we've never seen you even try to shoot a bow I think that it's just a waste of time"

"Well, brother if that's what you think then I have to say you are crazy to underestimate me, just so you know I practice every night with the bow."

Mikeal- " is this true boy you've been using the bow behind my back!?"

"Yes, father, I have you said if we want to survive we can't be weak!"

"Well then you better hit something when we go hunting or else I'll have to teach you how and why you carry a weapon."

Esther- "that's enough out y'all the foods getting cold so let's go eat, change y'all's clothes and meet me at the table."

(12 years later)

Ivan- 'it's been twelve years since I came to this place every day. I regret coming so young. But these past years have been a blast my sister Rebekah was born, and I and my siblings adored her heck even our mean-to-the-bone father is head over heels for her. But most of the time we all play and laugh even Finn joins us sometimes, oh I almost forgot even our little brother Henrik was born. We always laugh at him by saying he's too small and he always tells us size doesn't matter, And he'll be a small warrior. That's about all that's happened it's not like there's much to do.'

Klaus- Ivan, are you almost ready to go, you know I want to talk to that girl named Tatia before Elijah can get there."

"Yeah man I'm ready to let's go it should be fun"

"Ivan you already know you don't have to tell me twice, I mean she's so beautiful she looks like Freyja!"

(Twenty minutes later)

Ivan- 'well even though I said it would be fun, I lied I'm bored out of my mind I just wanted to see if her beauty is all the show described her as'

Kol and Ivan laughed seeing how dumb Tatia had made their brothers. Just as Niklaus was doing his best to steal Tatia's attention a hand tapped Ivan's shoulder. Turning around he was greeted by a woman he had never seen before her hair was blonde, just judging her by looks she was a ten. Ivan wondered how she would look walking away, because from the front he could tell she had curves in all the right places.

"Umm, I was wondering would you like to dance? I'm Ella," She said smiling.

Ivan wondered how he had not seen her around before. She was gorgeous, surely she would have suitors fighting left and right for her hand in marriage. Just look at Tatia, she had managed to grab the attention of two brothers.

"Of course it would be my honor to have a dance with you. My name is Ivan, Ivan Mikaelson," Ivan bowed lightly before reaching out his hand taking hers.

They then went closer to the huge campfire that had the entire square lit. They danced like they had known each other their entire lives, but like all good things the dance had finally come to an end they separated and stole one last look at each other.

After the dance was over Niklaus walked over and asked "brother who was that you were dancing with? I've never seen her before?"

"Klaus that's none of your business so don't worry about it." Ivan told him with a stern look telling him don't push it.

"Well then maybe I'll have to find her and find out for myself, heck she might even fall for me." Niklaus said with his signature smirk.

"NIKLAUS IF YOU DARE I'LL SKIN YOU ALIVE RIGHT HERE!!!" Ivan roared jumping from his seat with the look of a killer.

"Calm down I was just joking with you. Dang, I wish you could see yourself, it's freaking hilarious!" Niklaus responded to let him know it was just a joke with a look of fear barely visible.

"Haha really funny, anyway how did it end up with Tatia did you get her?

"No such look that damn bastard Elijah just had to show up, so at the end, she said she didn't know who to pick and left." Klaus said with anger in his eyes.

"Wow man, I thought we left before him. How'd he get here so fast?" Ivan was barely holding in his laughter when he said this.

"It doesn't matter but when we are alone I'm going to kick his ass"

'Well what I saw on tv was true this bitch is the reason for the rift between them. I'll be glad when she's dead but I feel like I've forgotten something important.'

"Well Klaus, let's go home. It's getting late and I don't wanna have to hear father." Ivan looked a little nervous while running home.

'And like that three years passed by with us messing around and doing what we want. But that bitch Tatia has made the rift so big, that if she picks one they'll try to kill each other.'

(3 years later)

Ivan could be seen sitting on a rock in the middle of the wood deep in thought trying to figure out a way to save Henrik from dieing to the werewolves when he heard a voice.'

God's majestic voice boomed in his head. "Well young man when I saw you thinking of a way to save Henrik. But I'm sorry to tell you that it's not possible because for you to gain all your powers, your transformation will have to start now and you will be in a slumber until noon tomorrow."

Ivan looked at god in shock then yelled out loud. "why the hell didn't you mention this before?"

God just looked at Ivan as if he was the world's first idiot, and yelled back a million times louder. "Well you never asked so I didn't bring it up it's not my fault. When you wake you will still need to drink blood, if you want you can drink a little and then join your family's ritual. Her spell is too weak compared to mine so fear not it will not affect you."

"But young man that is not why I called you, I can tell you don't wanna wait a thousand years until cannon starts. So I'll be putting you into a slumber until the cannon finally starts after you transform any questions?"

"Yes I have a few will I be desiccated until then and will my strength be at the same as when I turned? And what about my family and how will I wake up?"

"No, you will not be desiccated. I will put you in a sleep spell like Freya was put in. and no your strength will continue to rise as you sleep. And don't worry I'll make it like the spell didn't work and after you feed you'll die. I will tinker with Esther's mind so she puts you in a cave, not the ground."

"Ok then thank you again and until next time, bye."

(The next morning)

Klaus runs in carrying the cut-up body of his younger brother Henrik screaming " MOTHER, MOTHER, MOTHER!!"

Esther hearing her son's screams run outside only to see Henrik's body in his arms and yells. "No my son what has happened, Niklaus how did this happen?"

Niklaus looks at his brother's body one last time before he looks at his mom with tears and softly says. "We snuck out to watch the wolves and one attacked Henrik and I was too weak to do anything!" Niklaus squeezes his hands as he says this.

Esther looks at the only other witch she knows and back at her son and sobs. "We must save him, there must be a way"

Ayana tries to contact the spirits but then sadly looks at Esther."The spirits will not give us a way Esther. Your boy is gone."

"NO NO NOOOO!!!" Is all that Esther can say at the moment.

Later in the day after burying their only son Mikeal and Esther come to an agreement. They will use a spell to make their family not only stronger and faster, no it will make them unkillable.

Mikeal and Esther call the family and tell them they will eat and mourn Henrik. But unknown to them there mom has but the blood for the spell in the cups.

Mikeal and the rest of his family sits at the long wooden table in their house, and says. "all of you drink everything in your cups as a toast for Henrik.

Ivan sat at the table with extreme thirst for blood as he's just awoken after death. But he's glad his mom put blood in the cups and thinks, 'it's starting finally, I drank everything in my cup as if I didn't I would die which I would. And then watched as the rest of my family did after all of that we ate and told each other of our fondest memories of Henrik.

Later that night as everyone else was asleep I stayed awake because I knew what would happen, we would be killed by our father.

And as if right on cue as soon as I had that thought my dad came in, he stabbed every one but me as they didn't notice him but I did I sat up in my bed and stared straight into his eyes.

Mikeal was surprised to see his son's actions and couldn't help but ask."Are you not scared son, does death not scare you?"

"No father I fear nothing as is the way a warrior should be"

"You are truly my son, don't worry I'm doing this for us all."

'Then he drove his sword in my chest and everything went dark."

'When I woke up with my siblings, the door opened and my father walked in with Tatia.'

Mikeal then yelled at us "What are y'all doing we must finish what we started. You have to drink her blood if you want to live!"

My father then forced each of my siblings to drink the blood all except for Niklaus. But when my father saw this he grabbed him by the head and pushed his mouth to the cut, leaving him no option but to drink.

'And when it was finally my turn I smiled as I finally had the chance to kill her, I drank her blood until she had no more color on her face or blood in her body. And then my curse triggered but since I got all my wishes when I turned, I stopped the transformation instantly before anyone could know. But then before I could see anything it became dark, but I wasn't scared because I knew the cause of this.'
