The pillars were like the fingers of a hand pressing down on the Yonbi, preventing him from moving. However, the strength of the monkey spirits was fading quickly. They were not meant to reseal the Yonbi if it went berserk after leaving the stone statue, but rather give the remaining inhabitants time to flee. Enma saw this and his heart tightened. The elders had already given their lives to stop Yonbi and persisted after death to protect the younger generation.
"There's no time, it won't hold him for long. Both of you leave!" Enma yelled at the duo behind him.
"What about you?" Natsume didn't budge since Enma had yet to leave either.
"Someone has to protect the mountain."
"Then I'm staying." "Stay." Natsume and Saru said at the same time.
"You're no match for the Great Sage King!"
"An Uchiha caused this mess… So, an Uchiha will fix it!" Natsume said with a serious expression. Her eyes went straight to Mangekyou Sharingan. She knew this would be difficult so there was no point in holding back. As for the matter of blindness… as long as she used her abilities sparingly it shouldn't degrade so much.
Enma had sworn to never allow a human on the mountain again, but when he saw Natsume for the first time, he sensed something in her and gave her a chance. Since then, she has proved herself to be different than the person from the past that destroyed his home. Seeing her determination to risk her life to correct a wrong that was well before her generation made his blood boil. For the first time since meeting him, Natsume saw him smile. He turned to the Yonbi who was about to break free from the golden pillars.
"How do we release the genjutsu?"
"Yonbi is too powerful… and my eyes don't have a Genjutsu ability… so he will have to be weakened and restrained." Natsume actually wasn't sure she could do it. However, from her inherited memories, she saw Uchiha enter other's mental realms with the Sharingan. Therefore, she should be able to invade Yonbi's mental realm and release the genjutsu. However, she wasn't confident in facing a full strength tailed beast in their mental realm yet.
"Weaken him?" Enma repeated and as soon as the pillars crumbled, he let out a battle shout. He grew to the same size as Yonbi and charged toward him. Saru also grew in size and jumped in for support. Natsume frowned at the colossal battle in front of her and was biding her time. She knew when to advance and when to retreat. Right now, if she interfered it would only waste her energy. The three monkeys collided and began to wrestle Yonbi down.
As the three brawled, more stones were breaking off his body at an increasing rate. As the tails were released, his power would grow. Eventually, his chest puffed up and he leaned back his head. Seeing the chakra flow, Natsume knew it was her time to act. As soon as he finished and blew out, several balls of lava flew toward the two monkeys. The two were unable to dodge in time, but instead of getting hit, two skeletal arms reached out in either direction.
The lava made contact with the white arms and fell flat. The arms were outstretched from Natsume, but that wasn't the end of it. Next were the shoulders and ribcage, then the spine and skull. Eventually she rose up to the head while the hips and legs formed. This was the first time she released a complete skeletal Susanoo. The white flames and white bones that surrounded Natsume were mesmerizing.
"You…" Enma saw this and realized now why she was confident to face against a tailed beast. Someone that could form a full body Susanoo was not to be trifled with. Natsume felt pain unlike ever before and had a strain on her chakra and dojutsu while she stood in the Susanoo. Fortunately, it was still within tolerable range. As for the Yonbi, after using his lava style, the last remaining stones fell off his body and his chakra began to skyrocket.
With another roar, he charged at Natsume since she blocked his lava. Susanoo reacted and attempted to grab him. Despite being under genjutsu, his combat instincts didn't wane at all. He easily dodged the grapple attempt and followed up with a fist toward Enma. Suddenly, he was pulled backward, and his fist fell short. When Yonbi turned back, he saw that Saru had grabbed his four tails, two in each arm.
While he was distracted, Natsume directed Susanoo to grab him around the neck and pin him to the ground. Instead of resisting being pulled, Yonbi used the momentum from the tugging and sent a kick toward Saru. This time, he really was unable to dodge or block, so a solid kick landed in the center of his chest. Saru flew backward and slammed into the mountain wall. It even left behind a faint outline.
Meanwhile, Enma appeared above Yonbi and kicked his chest, slamming him to the ground. His head went back as his shoulders hit the stone floor which gave Natsume a chance to wrap her Susanoo hand around his neck and pin down his body. Yonbi's fur began to bubble up and was surrounded by lava. The skeletal body melted under the intense heat from his lava cloak jutsu. Natsume gritted her teeth and pushed her dojutsu powers to the limit causing the pain in her body and eyes to increase in magnitude. Muscles wrapped around the damaged bones, repairing them and further strengthening her control over Yonbi.
Sensing the change, Yonbi did not hesitate. He opened his mouth and a massive amount of chakra poured out into a ball. Having witnessed a tailed beast bomb once before, Natsume knew what the Yonbi was up to. Being in point blank range, she would take the full force of the blast. However, looking behind her, Saru was still incapacitated. If she dodged, he would be hit instead.
Natsume expected him to swallow it and fire a beam at her, but it seemed that he intended to let it explode right in Natsume's face. Yonbi wouldn't be unscathed from this either since he was right underneath the explosion. Her eye markings rotated and blood trailed down her cheek as she reached forward with Susanoo's free arm. Flesh formed on the palm of the hand and grabbed the tailed beast bomb.
"Fuchikoma!"
