When the three of them were having a conversation, Yu Yan saw Lu Lingqi and was surprised by her beauty then she began to pinch Lie Fan in the ear asking him if he found another wife again without telling them, when Lu Lingqi heard her face turned ripe red blushing like a tomato, while stuttering saying that she is not Lie Fan's wife but his general where Lie Fan second the motion while telling Yu Yan to stop pinching his ear.

Yu Yan hearing this didn't believe her son since he already had criminal records in her eyes due to past experiences, now she was further angered as she thought Lie Fan didn't want to recognize Lu Lingqi which wasn't how he was raised by her.

Even though she released her hand from Lie Fan's ear, she still lectured him about how could he be so shameless and not acknowledge Lu Lingqi, she turned toward Lu Lingqi telling her to not be worried and afraid, as she would help him get her justice.

Seeing that Yu Yan didn't believe the two of them and even fell further into the pit of misunderstanding, Lu Lingqi approached Yu Yana and told her with a serious but red ripe tomato face and soft voice that she misunderstood, and that there was nothing between her and Lie Fan.

After hearing and looking at Lu Lingqi's serious face even though it was bright red, Yu Yan decided to believe Lu Linqgi and not her son so she showed a smile and apologized to Lu Lingqi for misunderstanding her relationship with his Fan, which caused her to be embarrassed in public.

Lu Lingqi immediately waved both of her hands in panic while saying that it was okay, she understood that it wasn't Yu Yan's fault because it should have been her, and Lie Fan explained clearly because it had been a surprise to Yu Yan since Lie Fan suddenly visited them with a woman alongside him.

Lie Fan who heard Lu Lingqi's somewhat eloquent words was surprised as he didn't expect Lu Linqgi could be eloquent in talking due to her always being to the point and no nonsense when talking with him.

Yu Yan showed a smile, satisfied with Lu Lingqi's attitude of trying to take the blame, she took Lu Lingqi's hand and told her to not take the blame as it was all her fault for misunderstanding, so to compensate her Yu Yan promised to cook her some of her dishes, which was also Lie Fan's favorite.

Lu Lingqi immediately refused saying that she didn't want to inconvenience her by doing that, Yu Yan waved her hand saying that it wasn't a nuisance for her, and after some persuasion from Yu Yan Lu Lingqi agreed.

Lie Shang was silent on the side watching the exchange between Lie Fan, Lu Lingqi, and Yu Yan where it was almost like a play, and so with Yu Yan's lead, they went to the Lie Clan residence in Langye.

Jia Xu, Xun You, Chen Gong, Zhang Liao, and Gao Shun also follow along, at first they want to take their leave but Yu Yan tells them to follow them along as she wants to reimburse them for taking care of Lie Fan.

When Jia Xu wants to take the lead in rejecting himself and the others, Lie Fan directs his gaze to Jia Xu and shakes his head, seeing that Jia Xu can only sigh and accept Yu Yan's invitation and the others see that Jia Xu accepted so they could only follow along.

At Langye Lie Clan Estate, Yu Yan cooked some dishes personally with the help of the maids and served them to everyone, Jia Xu and the others were filtered by Yu Yan's actions and said their gratitude to Yu Yan, also knowing that Lie Fan shaped today thanks to the effort of his father and mother.

Lu Lingqi also joined in saying her gratitude and praised Yu Ya, 's cooking saying that it was on the same level as her mother's cooking, which in her opinion the best in the land causing Yu Yan to laugh at Lu Lingqi's actions thinking that it was very cute.

Lie Fan was thrown to the side by Yu Yan and could only have a conversation with his father, talking about Langye's development and progress as Lie Fan'd future force direction.

Two days passed by in the blink of an eye and Lie Fan felt that it was time for them to continue toward Changyang County, in the past two days Lu Lingqi and Yu Yan's relationship also improved so fast that Yu Yan even called Lu Lingqi her goddaughter.

So before leaving with his army, Yu Yan lectures Lie Fan to keep Lu Lingqi safe as she was her godsister now causing Lie Fan to have a headache, and also a Mall dissatisfaction in his heart as he felt that Lu Lingqi shouldn't be his godsister but he move on from that feeling.

After promising Yu Yan countless times, Lie Fan said his goodbye to Lie Shang and Yu Yan then left alongside his army continuing their march toward Changyang County where they took around a month before reaching there, entering the last month of this year.

When they arrived at Changyang County, Lie Fan immediately headed toward Changyang which was the capital of Changyang County which was a Port Town, like Huai'An but several times much bigger.

In there, Lie Fan and the others were welcomed by Gan Ning and Taishi Ci who arrived there earlier than them, Lie Fan had Zhang Liao station the Qilin Army besides the Zhuque Army before they headed toward the Governor's Castle.

Arriving at the Governor's Castle, they immediately headed toward a room where it was prepared for Lie Fan and his retainers to discuss their strategy to launch their attack on Gongsun Du.

Lie Fan: "We have around a month until the new year before we launch our attack, synchronizing it with I'm the other Army group that will assault Liu Biao first to take over Jiangxia from Huang Zu and when everyone was focused there, Gongsun Du let down his guard we will strike fast."

Gan Ning: "My Lord I would like to ask if all of the army groups head out to battle who will defend our land against Cao Cao? 25,000 men led by General Huangfu Song, Zhu Jun, and Zhao Yun can't go against hundreds of thousands of Cao Cao army."

Xun You: "Dont worry Admiral Gan Ning, after we manage to take down Jiangxia the Baihu Aemy will return to his post while the Qinglong and Xuanwu Army will consolidate control over Jiangxia, they head toward Jiangling County and Huarong County to conquer it and consolidate control there before the Qinglong Army will head back while Xuanwu Army stays to guard there."

Gan Ning: "I see that's good, but what about Huang Zu's navy? Do they have enough sips to take on Huang Zu's navy?"

Jia Xu: "Yes they have more than enough Admiral Gan Ning, now we need to discuss the landing strategy. This is the plan we have created, you can give us your insight if you think the landing location we choose is not good or have certain conditions."

Gan Ning: "Zhuque Army land at Linyu County, Half of Qilin Army at Yangle County, and the other half at Xuantu County? Chen Gong: "Then how long do you think needed to transport all of our men before we could launch the full scale assault, Admiral? Because time is of the essence and if we were over time, then we would lose 30% of our combat effectiveness through the element of surprise."

Gan Ning was silent for a while and after thinking of using all of the ship transport, he asses that they need around a week or two before all of the Army fully landed on the other side.

Hearing this Lie Fan felt that it could be much faster, around a week as long as the Marines were strong enough to work full-time for a week with minimum rest, and Gan Ning felt that it could be implemented but the rest time could only be shortened for 2 to 3 hours.

He felt that more than that would cause his men to be disoriented and more vulnerable to being nauseous as the condition of the land army can't be the same as the Navy, Lie Fan nodded his head and agreed with Gan Ning's idea.

Next Taishi Ci asked Jia Xu, Xun You, and Chen Gong for his direction after taking down Linyu County, where Xun You responded to his question by saying that he would take down Junmi County and then reinforce the two counties while blocking the news from going outside.

Taishi Ci hearing this asked if that meant she also needed to stop civilians and merchants because they also could bring the news outside Jia Xu replied affirmatively and told him to not worry as the Oriole would help him.

Taishi Ci nodded his head in understanding, after Taishi Ci was done with his question it was Zhang Liao who asked after taking down Yangle County where he should go next.

Chen Gong was the one who answered his question, he told Zhang Liao that he would take down Licheng and Linyu County, and after that, he would join Lie Fan who had taken down Xuantu County to head toward Xiangping County where Gongsun Du's Capital Liaodong was located.

There they will take down Liaodong and force Gongsun Du to surrender, if he surrenders he will placed as the ruler of Liaodonhmg under Lie Fan where his movement will be monitored by the Oriole.

Zhang Liao nodded his head and thanked Chen Gong for the answer, it was Lie Fan's turn to speak as he said that some of them must be confused as to why he wanted to let Gongsun Du live.

He explained to them that right now he lacked the manpower to focus on the expansion outside of the Empire, and he felt that Gongsun Du was a good candidate to do so as long as they kept him on a tight leash, and used him to expand outside of the Empire gathering resources which can be used to pay for their war in uniting the land under his rule.
