35 The Land of Snow Part 3

Back with Kibo, a hail of ice Jutsus rained down on his body.

There were ice constructs in the forms of dragons, fists, hammers, axes, polearms, and many other powerful Kage Level attacks assaulting him.

However, in the end, Kibo pushed through them without being inflicted by mortal wounds.

Again, his gate of healing recovered the damage, returning his body to peak condition as he stared down the Yukikage.

Seeing his monstrous ability to regenerate, Setsuna jumped back onto a large rock protruding from the snow.

The clear green grass Kibo revealed when he blew the snow away had all but vanished thanks to her array of Frosty Jutsus.

"I have to say, you really are strange. I commend you for lasting this long, but my name as a Kage would be sullied if I didn't at least injure you heavily." Setsuna declared as she began making hand signs at a rapid pace.

More than thirty different Jutsus were cast at once, a large body of Snow and Ice formed in the shape of a Complete Hydra. The nine heads roared before they swayed back and forth as if they were really alive.

"This is my 2nd strongest Jutsu. I hope you can survive kid." The Yukikage said as she made her final hand sign.

"Absolute Zero Storm!" The Hydra roared once more as it spewed a bright white-blue beam from their nine months.

Suddenly, Kibo found himself in the center of an overwhelming snowstorm. All he could see was white.

A bone-cold blizzard engulfed him and everything in a 10 Mile Radius. The temperature of the surroundings rapidly dropped when Kibo started to feel the danger.

Before he could say "COLD!" his body was engulfed in a white ice shell.

Kibo's felt his core body heat plummet before he started absorbing so much energy from the Earth, that every plant in a dozen miles started to wither.

The soil became dry and infertile. Even the air around Kibo's body had lost some of its vitality.

Kibo found himself constantly floating between life and death, and while he suffered, he suddenly started to feel a change happening at the center of his physique.

Caught between the heat of the Earth Essence, and the cold Chakra of the Kage's Jutsu, the two energies began to meld together and temper his muscles and bones.

Every time the cold invaded, it was replaced by hot scolding earth energy. Over and over this repeated.

Kibo thought his body wouldn't last much longer, but he held on. He refused to let go of the chance presented before him.

Kibo quickly took the energy that was coursing through his body and redirected it to charge at his 4th Profound Gate. The Gate of Opening.

This particular Gate was located in his brain. By releasing it Kibo would improve his body's connection to his brain, making the lag that normally existed between body and mind nonexistent.

It would also open his third eye, giving him a powerful perception ability that was on pair with Karin's Mind's Eye of the Kagura.

The ability would allow him to find and track an individual's Chakra over a vast distance that exceeds ten thousand kilometers.

By further focusing his Chakra into the new Profound Gate, Kibo can extend the range of his sensory ability to farther and greater distances.

This ability also gives him the capability to perceive fluctuations in a person's Chakra made when a person is lying. It can allow him to see if anyone, including himself, was trapped under a Gen-Jutsu's effects, and by focusing on a particular Chakra, he could perceive his target's movements and surrounding area with the greatest detail.

These capabilities make both Karin and Kibo unparalleled when it comes to sensory abilities, far surpassing that of a Dō-Jutsu with comparable powers.

His body felt even stronger than before. Like there was some change to his muscles and bone's constitutions.

He didn't know it yet, but a new perk had appeared, called breathing blood and bone. It stated that his body could now handle 10 times the normal amount of oxygen and that he could store this energy in his body's cells.

The last thing Kibo felt was a change in his eyes. The 7th and 8th Corona had appeared around his two rings.

[7th Ring's Ability: Danger Sense: The host can now see Killing Intent as a tangible form, and instincts are far more sensitive to life-threatening situations.

[8th Ring's Ability: Future Sight: Allows the Host to see 3 seconds into the future of anything in his sight.]

Kibo's body looked chilled all over, every breath exuded boiling hot air from within his stomach.

The Yukikage was panting heavily, her Chakra felt exhausted and her body was tired. "You? How can you still be standing?" She said staring at Kibo.

He then smiled in response and said, "My turn!"

Kibo felt his body shift to the Dragon Fist Stance in one natural movement. All the power that had focused inside his body as defensive energy, flipped into offensive energy.

A Chakra image of the Azure Dragon outlined his body and coiled around his arm. Then, with a single swing of his arm, Kibo punched directly above the Yukikage's head.

A burst of frighteningly powerful force shot out from his fist while the flying silhouette of Seiryu soared into the heavens.

The gust carried up not only the Yukikage but half of the mountain-side with it. The Yukikage activated her secret weapon; a pure white Chakra armor that was similar to Doto's in design appeared.

However, it didn't offer up much of a defense.

Kibo had used a Tai-Jutsu, and the armor wasn't built to withstand this kind of force. The funny part was that it wasn't even the full brunt of the attack, but it was the shock wave of force that followed the Dragon Fist responsible for destroying the armor.

The Yukikage body was violently flung into a nearby mountainside and caused a crater to form around her.

Setsuna coughed up a bit of blood before she passed out and started plummeting towards the ground.

As she fell into Kibo's arms, he placed her on the ground and removed her armor with the system's storage. Luckily, she was wearing a skin-tight jumpsuit underneath it.

After storing the Chakra armor, he tied her up with Star Chakra strings and fell backward onto the snow.

"Man, that was a tough one!" Kibo shouted as he joyfully received his reward.

He then sat up and went over to wake the Yukikage. When his hands brushed past her hat, his Tengan picked up all the information pertaining to all 4 generations of the Yukikages.

Meanwhile, back with the rest of Team 7, Naruto and Hinata had chased after the princess while the rest stayed behind to deal with the Ninja Army.

Doto had a wing attachment to his suit that allowed him to fly, so while Naruto and Hinata were trailing out after Koyuki on foot, they realized they were slowly losing ground.

The film director suddenly appeared in a snowmobile-type jeep and told the two to jump on.

Hinata and Naruto looked at each other and nodded before they jumped into the vehicle and resumed their chase.

That crazed director continued to film every shot of the major event since it started. They weren't going to let a single bit of this ratings-gold slip through their fingers.

"FORWARD AND ONWARD! THE SHOW MUST GO ON!" The director shouted as he rode on top of the vehicle.

Ahead of them, Koyuki and Doto had finally reached their destination. They stood in a valley of snow and gargantuan glaciers. When the light gleamed off of their surface, they would shine with a prism of colors.

"This is where I tracked your father's legacy down. And for 10-years, your absence denied me my prize." Doto declared as he pulled Koyuki by her arm.

After dragging her over to an altar attached to nine, flat, tower-like structures with reflective surfaces, Doto threw her nearby and sat his hands on it.

At the center of the altar was a hexagonal slot that perfectly fit the key Koyuki had been carrying for years.

Doto placed the key in with anticipation clear on his face while a bright blue-white light shined throughout the snowflake grooves.

Just as Doto was reveling in his success, Koyuki heard a voice that gave her hope.

"Koyuki!" Naruto yelled as the vehicle drove through a pile of snow,

"Hinata, stay here and protect the camera crew, I'm going all out!" Naruto declared before he jumped off the Snowmobile-Jeep and started dashing towards Doto.

Releasing the gravity restraints from his suit, Naruto's body felt 30 times lighter before his dash caused a trail of snow and ice to spread out behind him.

In response to the blond Ninja charging at him, Doto quickly performed a Jutsu.

"Black Dragon Blizzard!" A black-colored snow dragon charged at Naruto, tearing up the ground underneath it.

Naruto punched out while shouting, "Leaf Dragon Punch!"

The air pressure from his fist dismantled Doto's Jutsu before Naruto moved in for his next attack.

Doto put up an ice wall in response, but it was no use. Naruto's punch caused the block of ice to shatter, sending fragments smashing into Doto and making him tumble backward across the ground.

In order to stabilize himself, while Doto was still being dragged back from the force of Naruto's punch, he placed his knee and hand on to the ground before sliding and coming to a halt.

When he looked up, Doto saw Naruto holding Koyuki moments before he disappeared and reappeared on top of a nearby glacier top.

Placing Koyuki down, Naruto smiled and said, "Chill out, I got this."

As he jumped back into battle Koyuki looked at his departing figure and spoke with a blank look as she said, "Naruto . . . That was a bad pun!"

Naruto stood in front of Doto and gave a look that could chill souls before saying, "I think it's time to put an end to your crazed atrocities!"

Naruto then flickered in and was about to land another punch. However, he was forced to jump back inches away from hitting Doto.

Without any warning, hundreds of ice spikes rose out from the ground, chasing after Naruto's movements.

"Twin Black Dragon Blizzard!" Doto yelled while he performed another Jutsu.

On top of the spikes Naruto had to avoid, he was now being chased by two black snow Flood Dragons.

After lining himself up to strike back, Naruto suddenly smirked before he said, "You don't get it, do you Dot?, Real heroes always come through in the end."

Naruto made 5 shadow clones, then he had three of those clones launched himself, and the two remaining clones, straight towards Doto.

As the Black Snow Dragons missed the three Naruto-Clones charging him, it rammed into the two Clones that threw Naruto.

A powerful gust gathered at the remaining Naruto-Clones' feet before they shouted, "Triple Snow Dragon God Kick!"

Naruto altered the name of Chen Roshi's Leaf Dragon God Kick because there was a lack of leaves to call it such.

The snowflakes gathered alongside the vortex-shaped dragon made of concussive force until the three Snow Dragons merged into one giant attack.

Suddenly, a rainbow light reflected off the mirrors and saturated Naruto's attack.

The massive snow wind dragon became charged with the prismatic Chakra before it struck Doto in the chest.

The villain felt his bones, lungs, and organs rupturing all at once. His body then blasted back into the air and slammed onto the surface of the generator.

At the exact moment of impact, a large quantity of rainbow-colored energy swept across the Land of Snow, turning it into a lush green paradise.

Koyuki was sitting in the grass, blown away by what had just occurred.

When suddenly, a voice that echoed throughout the valley made her shake, "Believe in the future, and spring will always come."

A holographic image appeared in the center of the device. It showed a younger Koyuki with pig-tails holding up her hair and a cute long dress.

Once again, Koyuki heard the voice of her long since passed father, "Koyuki, what do you want to be when you grow up?"

Koyuki started to cry as her recorded image played out a scene from her childhood, "I want to be a princess!"

Her father's laughter could be heard echoed throughout the valley before he continued speaking, "What sort of princess do you want to be?"

The past version of Koyuki started to wave her arms back and forward as she thought of her answer "Hmm! Let's see...one who's strong and whose kind, and most of all, one who always fights for justice!"

Koyuki's father started laughing again. After a moment of silence, his voice rang out again, "Well that's some dream you got there."

"Dad...Did I actually say those things?" Koyuki's tears refused to stop.

"Well so long as you believe in that dream and never give up, one day you'll be that princess."

Sōsetsu Kazahana came into the recording.

He had long black hair with an m shaped receding hairline, large black eyes, a wide jawline like his brother, and a much smaller nose.

He wore a pair of circular-framed glasses and a Daimyō's uniform as stood behind his daughter putting on the key to this generator around her neck.

"You can see it can't you? There's that beautiful princess standing right here in front of you." Koyuki's father flattered.

As the little girl stared into the device that was recording her image, she looked up to her father and said, "Um well, there's one more thing I wanna be!"

Sōsetsu looked down with a surprised look and asked, "Ohh! What is it?"

The girl then smiled and said, "An actress!"

The two started laughing as did the real Koyuki, the tears began to fade as she looked back to see Naruto standing next to Hinata, waving at her with a goofy smile on his face.

Naruto looked over at the fading holographic image before saying, "Oh yeah. Now that!!! Is a happy ending."

Kakashi and the rest of team 7; minus Kibo appeared shortly after Naruto's corny comment.

Naruto quickly filled them in on what happened, while Kakashi checked Doto's vitals to make sure he was dead.

Kakashi sighed before he stood up and said, "Come one let's go help Kibo now. He chose to hold off Yukikage by himself,"

After leaving the Princess with the Film Crew, they left to assist Kibo in his endeavor.

Except, when they got there, they saw a very frightened Yukikage. She was shaking as if she saw something so terrifying that it carved the fear into her very bones.
