Chapter 12:- Danzo's capture

Akane was chasing Danzo and soon, she had him in her sights. 'Since my mangekyo sharingan's abilities are unknown I guess I could test it out on him. I sure hope he doesn't die cause I want his death to be satisfying.' Akane thought as she focused on Danzo.

"Wind release: Vacuum bullet." Danzo sent a barrage of compressed wind bullets at Akane who had almost caught up to him, hoping to stall Akane. 'That girl is an Uchiha. If she's awakened the mangekyo sharingan, it'll be hard for me to take her out quickly. I need to focus on escaping. I can't let Kakashi and the other Jonin get here, it'll be too hard to get away then.' Danzo thought as he continuously sent wind bullets at Akane.

But Akane, using her superior vision and speed, easily dodged them, getting even closer. 'Tsk! He's getting away. Do something, mangekyo sharingan!' Akane focused her chakra on her eyes, and suddenly, Danzo was sent flying, as if someone had hit him hard from behind. "Argh!" Akane winced in pain as she held her bleeding left eye. 'Telekinesis. So that's my left eye's ability.'

Meanwhile, when Kenshin tried to run after healing himself, he stumbled. "Crap!! This jutsu uses too much chakra. I can't run well. But... I can't let nee-san kill Danzo. She deserves to know the truth behind the massacre." Kenshin said to himself as he stood back up and forced himself to run.

When Akane tried to move closer, Danzo had no other choice. He freed his right arm from it's restraints, revealing the ten sharingan embedded in it.

"You..... how dare you take those eyes! I'll kill you, I swear I will!" Akane growled, her voice seething with anger. She lunged forward, slashing Danzo with a lightning fast katana slash, but Danzo didn't appear to take any damage. He focused on escaping since fighting with an uncertainty wasn't smart. Danzo tried to use his wood release jutsu to bind Akane but she slipped easily.

"It's no use, asshole!" Akane scoffed, though she was still trying to figure out why Danzo didn't take any damage. She noticed that one of the sharingan in his arm had closed shut. She continued to attack, carefully observing Danzo's right arm while barely dodging his barrage of powerful wind release jutsu. After a couple of minutes, she had mostly figured out his arm.

'It seems his arm is preventing the damage I'm inflicting. And every time it does, one sharingan closes off. I need to take him down fast. Right eye, it's your turn. Please be something useful.' Akane thought as she prepared to use her right eye on Danzo. She focused chakra on her right eye and just as Danzo thought she was off guard and attempted to use the vacuum wave jutsu. But suddenly, his right arm began withering and fell off shortly after. The same happened to his left arm shortly after.

Akane winced in pain as she held her left eye, wiping off the blood flowing from it. "How about that you asshole?!! You were really proud of that arm of yours right?! First hokage's cells my ass!!! But I won't wait until the hokage declares your punishment. You killed my brother. It's only fitting I return the favor." Akane growled, taking out her katana.

Danzo, in a last ditch effort, tried to use kotoamatsukami on Akane. But as soon as he activated it's mangekyo sharingan mode, Akane gouged the eye out. "This eye doesn't belong to you." Just as Akane was about to bring her katana down on Danzo's head, her katana was blocked by another katana.

"Kenshin?! But..... how?! You.... you died!" Akane asked, unable to speak out of shock. "Are you a genjutsu?"

"Of course not! And I didn't DIE! You just assumed I'd die because I was badly wounded. My right eye can heal wounds apparently. So I used it. I'm thinking of calling it 'Shufuku'. But I made it just in time otherwise you would've killed this guy." Kenshin explained his right eye's ability briefly before turning to Danzo. He grabbed Danzo by the hair and forced him to stand up. "Nee-san, how the hell did you rot his arms off?"

"It was my right eye's ability, decay, at least I think it is. And I think my left eye can do telekinesis. Or.... wait hold on. I think it's something else. Because I saw a very faint outline of a hand going towards Danzo. Maybe that's my ability, an invisible hand." Akane replied, sheathing her katana before collapsing onto the ground. "I'm tired, my body hurts, I can't even see properly."

Kenshin knocked Danzo out before turning his attention to Akane. "You used your mangekyo sharingan several times I assume?" He asked, putting his hand on her shoulder.

"Yeah...." Suddenly, Akane's eyes welled up with tears as she hugged Kenshin tightly. "Why did you not dodge that attack?! I've lost so much already, I can't lose you too! I love you!"

Kenshin's heart sank as he heard her words, guilt consuming him. He had deliberately let himself get hit in order to test his right eye's true ability but didn't expect the wounds to be fatal. And he didn't consider how Akane would feel. "I'm sorry, nee-san. And....." He cupped her face, making her look at him. "Thank you. I love you too." He leaned down to give her a gentle kiss. But he pulled back quickly when he realized that the others were coming. "Let's continue this back home tonight shall we?" He said with a mischievous wink before turning his attention to Danzo's right arm. The arm had only decayed near the shoulder where Akane had cast her ability. "'Fuhai', the ability to make even the famous hashirama cells decay. It's sick, figuratively and literally." He murmured, picking up the arm.

"But, why didn't the rest of the arm rot?" Akane asked, slowly getting up.

"It's made with Lord first hokage's cells. He was famous for his monstrous vitality, greater than even the tailed beasts. Of course it didn't rot all the way." He handed the arm to Akane before turning to the unconscious Danzo. "I want to test my left eye on him."

"You sure? You said you wanted to keep him alive."

"I'm sure. As long as he's alive, it'll be fine. And since you've already figured out your abilities, I can't have mine be uncertain." With that, he activated his mangekyo sharingan and focused chakra on his left eye.
