Fighting Gods Chapter 8

Percy POV

I block another attack from a claymore-wielding bloodthirsty god with my left forearm before I smack him away with a KI ball.

I quickly dodge a barrage of arrows but some of them do manage to scratch me.

"Why are you all attacking me?" I ask as they get into formation

"Return what you have stolen and maybe Lord Zeus will lower your punishment," Said the one I am assuming is Athena

"I have stolen nothing," I answer knowing that Zeus's fragile ego will not take it as an answer and I was right as thunder boomed nearby

"LIES," Screamed the idiot called Ares as he charged at me

Its time that I stop this as I know that these guys won't leave me alone, especially Ares

"I swear on the river Styx that I did not steal anything from Olympus," I said as right after I said that Ares became enraged and charged at me again but this time I actually punched him and surprisingly he just ignored it and began attacking

I dodged and weaved around him as he slashed, however, I could tell something was more or less off and I quickly realized that they were studying me so I just simply blasted Ares in the face which made him fly back for a few meters.

I was barely even tired as the adrenaline in my system alongside my Sayian biology did wonders, as after months of training I finally fought someone.

I understand completely just how Goku, Vegeta, and any other Sayian say when they declare their love for fighting.

"Enough, you came here to get me to Olympus," I said calming down my desire to fight

"I will go willingly to clear it up," I began

"I will get to the Empire State building or whatever soon to clear things up since it is obvious my father let his stupid pride get in the way," I said fitting to control my urges to beat the crap out of them

The one I could tell was Athena was studying me I ignored her and went to pick up my spoils left behind by some of the monsters.

I put them in a pile as I notice both Artemis and Apollo grabbing Ares and soon they begin to glow while I notice that Ares is looking at me in hatred.

Athena meanwhile just watches me

"What are you going to keep watching me?" I asked her which made her narrow her eyes

Soon I fished getting all of my spoils

I put whatever fit in a plastic bag and left behind the more useless stuff while asking the campers to take it to cabin three for me.

"I am a son of Poseidon unfortunately," I just told them right out of the bag as a sea-green hologram appeared on my head

I noticed a grey-eyed girl looking at me with a calculating look before turning to look at Athena with a look that explained she wanted to run to her mother.

("So, that's Annabeth Chase") I thought while turning to look at Athena

"I swear on the Styx that I am going to the Empire State building right now," I told her as thunder rumbled

Am I making too many oaths on the Styx?

Sure I am

I bid Chiron goodbye as I turn to run over to New York

I reach it even faster but as soon as I reach it I go into my Home Base and quickly eat some snacks and then I am back here again.

I enter and see Athena standing there looking at the ground with a grim expression on her face.

("Ok, remember that goddesses are far more beautiful than most women,") I thought to myself as I quickly got it under control

("Remember the rules, Percy. Immortality first, power second, then the bitches") I thought to myself as I nodded at her while she went over to the receptionist who gave her golden card and soon we were in an elevator going to Olympus

"How do you have those powers?"She asked

"I have them due to the prophecy," I lied to her which made her gasp a bit but she quickly got it under control

She turned to look at me

"Who told you?" She asked plainly with a serious look on her face

"I learned about it in my dreams," I answered

Thanks to my new Sayian biology or something I haven't actually had any dreams as far as I can tell. But, it could also be due to me sleeping in my home base.

We stayed silent for around six minutes and there we arrive on Olympus. I saw the beauty of it, but I wasn't exactly drawn to it as I knew just what type of beings inhabit this place.

We were going straight to the throne room.

I kept some of my attention on some of the merchants on Olympus and I realize that it is truly another city altogether.

The books never truly mentioned that any other beings affiliated with Olympus were allowed in.

("So that's another reason") I thought while looking at the beings here

Some of them I recognized like Cyclopes.

They literally live on Olympus while demigods were not allowed in their 'homes'

I shake my head and head over to the throne room.
