10 Nightmare

Black tendrils burst forth from my chest. My own blood, and guts were spilling all over the ground, as I thrashed back, and forth. I was spewing countless amount of bile, blood, and other things as I felt my body collapse on itself, I was being consumed by the blacklight virus which was meant to be my power, My broken body laid bare as the tendrils formed a new me.

" You'll never survive in this world John. You're mentally weak. You should have already annihilated half of this god forsaken village, starting with naruto. Do you know how much more powerful you could be if you ate that boy, and the ninetails? You're pathetic. It'd be better If you just died here. "

My own face glared down at me twisted in an obscene smile. I couldn't move. I couldn't talk. I just had to watch as the other me consumed what was left.

" AAAHHHHHHHHH "

" HARU? Are you okay? "

Naruto all but teleported into my tent, and crashed directly into me. He was now covered in my sweat from the nightmare I'd just woken up from.

" I'm alright, just a nightmare. No big deal. "

' Very big deal WTF was that? I had night terrors, and sleep paralysis in my previous life, but I thought I was free from that here. What a fucking ominous dream. '

" Haruko, are you okay? " Kakashi poked his head in through the entrance, and surprisingly looked at us with soft eyes, One's that didn't constantly relive his trauma.

" Yes sensei. Just a night terror. " I was still sweating profusely as I couldn't get my own voice out of my head.' Maybe I need a therapist? Maybe things have been going a little too smoothly for me since coming here. Fuck me what if the emotional supresiant Keith gave me is finnaly coming undone? '

" Alright guy's lets pack everything up."

Naruto, and Kakashi made short work of their camping supplies, and were ready to go in only a few minutes. I, however, was sitting inside my collapsed tent.

" You okay in there Haru? " Naruto called out to me. " Yeah I'm just a little spacy today is all. "

I started moving, and got out from under the tent, and tried to roll it all up, and stuff it back in the back pack, but before I could Naruto snatched it our of my hands, and re did it properly instead of all fucked up like I had it.

" Alright Haru, We're going to take a rest today. You're too out of it to focus on anything. I'm not sure what your nightmare was about, but it clearly has you pretty shaken up. Rest move past it, and let's pick it up tomorrow. "

" Thanks sensei. I'm sorry I guess It's bothering me more than I thought it would. "

" Do you want to talk about it? "

" No, not right now sensei. "

Having my pack now packed thanks to Naruto I left, and headed home for the day. After Haruko had left Naruto, and Kakashi looked at each other.

" Do you think he's okay? "

" No, I think maybe learning about his origins, or maybe the danger the future presents for him set it off. Why don't you go home with him, and keep a close eye on him."

" Sure thing Kakashi Sensei. Have a good day! " Naruto took off following after Haru, and Kakashi flash stepped away as well, arriving in front of a certain training ground.

Kakashi made a swift chop towards the back of somebody's neck, which was deftly avoided, and a reverse roundhouse kick was thrown his way. Kakashi defended with a cross guard before disappearing into the ground, and popping out below a certain man covered in green spandex.

" Ah Ah Ah Kakashi my friend. The fires of YOUTH are burning brightly in you today! "

Without answering the sparring continued, minimal blow's were traded. It all coalesced in Might Guy trapped under the ground with only his head poking out.

" Guy, I need to pick your brain about something. "

" Kakashi coming to me for advice. How YOUTHFUL!! "

Tensing his muscles he popped right out of the ground, cleaned the dirt off, and sat down to listen to his friend.

" It's rare you seek me out Kakashi, what can I do for you? "

" I've had some time to do some reflecting, and you're somebody I can depend on. I need a bit of help with these kids I'm training. "

" Need me to teach them taijutsu? Ah I feel the raging river of YOUTH flowing through me right now! Where are they? We should start now! "

Guy began doing handstand push ups while grunting.

" Not just that, I need help fixing their mental issues. "

" Uh… Kakashi, I'm not a therapist. "

" I know, but the energy you give off could be helpful in giving them hope. I don't think they need therapy, I think they need to be surrounded by good people. "

" Ah I see now Kakashi, You need my YOUTHFUL AURA to heal them yes? Well no worries I'm BURSTING WITH YOOOUUUTTHHH " He began doing super speed jumping jacks while giving a thumbs up.

" Don't make me regret coming to you for help. I'm out of my depth. I can train these kids, but I'm worried I can't be a good role model for them. Neither of them have parents, and at this point I'm all they got. I need to be better for them. "

" Ah, I understand my friend. Don't worry You'll do great In fact! I have my own child prodigy. I've got my eyes on he's only five, but he seems very youthful! Maybe we can get a little group together of troublesome kids. "

" Suit yourself, I'm off " Kakashi was gone with a flash step, and Guy sat down.

' I didn't plan on speaking with Rock Lee's parents so soon, as he had just found out he can't use ninjutsu, and hasn't found his resolution in life to be a ninja, plus his body can't be ready for the intensity of our training yet. But Kakashi needs help with his kids so maybe I should take on some extra responsibility myself. After all, I can't let him beat me in anything, and he's already ahead of me!! '

Back at home with Haru.

' Fuck me man, why is that dream bothering me so much, it wasn't even real. Keith already told me there's no chance a clone would appear, and try to take my place as the original. But what if my own head is the issue. Great not bad enough there's literal demons for me to deal with now I have metaphysical ones in my head. '

The door opened, and Naruto put his things away before flopping on the sofa with me.

" You okay Haru? "

" Not really Naruto. The dream I had really messed with my head. "

" I know you didn't want to talk about it with Kakashi, but do you want to talk about it with me? You know I'll keep it a secret. "

" I know you will, but my dream might scare you, or worse make you scared of me. "

" Haru, I have a literal demon inside my tummy, and you're not scared of me. Why would I be scared of you? "

" Because There's some things about my bloodline I haven't told you, and it may affect how you see me. "
