Meeting God

"Where am I?" I thought, my mind swirling with confusion.

Slowly, I peeled open my eyes, squinting against the blinding whiteness that enveloped the room. It was as though I had stepped into a realm of pure light, each surface gleaming with an ethereal glow that seemed almost otherworldly. It took me several moments to adjust my vision to the intensity of the brightness.

As I examine my surroundings, I realised that the room stretched endlessly before me, devoid of any observable boundaries other than a solitary desk and chair. Seated at the desk was a figure unlike any I had ever seen - an imposingly handsome man with hair as white as freshly fallen snow and a beard to match. He seemed to emanate an aura of authority that commanded attention.

Engrossed in his work, the man appeared to effortlessly navigate through a sea of documents that materialized and vanished with each completed task, replaced in an unending cycle of productivity. Despite the throbbing ache in my head, I couldn't shake the feeling that I was merely a spectator in a surreal dream.

As I approached the figure, I was startled when a chair materialized seemingly out of thin air, accompanied by a deep, resonant voice that reverberated throughout the never-ending room.

"Sit down, please," the voice intoned with a sense of absolute certainty.

Cautiously, I complied, unable to shake the feeling of trepidation that gripped me. "Can you tell me where I am, please?" I ventured, my voice barely above a whisper.

My mind reeled at the revelation, struggling to process the gravity of the words that had been spoken. Despite the enormity of the revelation, I found myself strangely devoid of emotion, as though a fog was clouding my thoughts.

"That's because I took away your emotions," the man interjected, his words piercing through my internal turmoil with unsettling clarity.

"Did I actually speak aloud?" I questioned, caught off guard by my own words slipping out. The realization washed over me, indicating a deeper state of disorientation than I had initially recognized.

"No, you didn't. I read your thoughts," came the unexpected response, sending a shiver down my spine. How could he possibly know what I was thinking? I wondered, my mind racing with questions.

"Of course I can read your thought I am God" the figure explained, his words carrying an air of absolute certainty. The revelation left me stunned, grappling with the implications of being in the presence of the divine, face to face with the creator of all existence itself.

"Is that why I can't remember my past?" I queried, a newfound sense of understanding dawning within me.

"No, that's a side effect of dying," God explained, his voice carrying an air of solemnity. With a simple snap of his fingers, memories long forgotten flooded back into my consciousness, each fragment piecing together my existence like a fog was lifted over my head.

I started to remember my past life as born as Tatsuki Yamamoto an orphan in the bustling streets of Tokyo I knew the sting of poverty from a tender age. But fuelled by a relentless desire for a better life, I resolved to defy the odds.

I worked day and night during my teens while my age mates were having fun I hard to work twice as hard to provide for myself and keep up my grades so I could achieve a scholarship to a prestigious university but despite the daunting challenges, I pressed on, clinging to the belief that education held the key to my salvation.

My only respite was watching anime and reading manga I even dabbled in reading fanfiction, I spent most of my free time doing this because it let me escape my life and dream of a better life.

Finally, against all odds, I earned a coveted spot in a prestigious college but just as hope began to blossom, tragedy struck when i was diagnosed with cancer during my last year of college age. Despite the valiant efforts of medicine, my journey was cut short at the young age of 23 when I finally succumbed to my cancer.

"How come I had to die?" I questioned, grappling with the weight of fate's inexorable hand.

"I'm sorry, but you were destined to die at 78 years old, surrounded by your children and grandchildren. But due to a mix-up, you accidentally died," God offered, his words infused with a sense of regret.

"And is that why you took away my emotions?" I pressed, seeking clarity amidst the haze of uncertainty.

"No, we usually take away emotions to ensure that they don't cloud your judgment upon being reborn," God calmly elucidated, his tone unwavering in its conviction.

"I-I get to be reborn?" I stammered, the realization sparking a glimmer of hope within the depths of my soul.

"Indeed, it was our fault that you perished prematurely, so we shall compensate you by granting you the opportunity to be reborn and spin the Wheel of Power times," God declared

His words igniting a spark of anticipation within me. "Do I get to choose which world I shall inhabit?" I inquired.

"Alas, you cannot. The Wheel shall decide your fate," God proclaimed, his voice echoing with a sense of finality.

"Can I at least customize my form?" I ventured, a faint glimmer of hope flickering within me.

God nodded in affirmation and with a simple snap of his fingers, a colossal wheel adorned with countless possibilities materialized before me.

"I don't think i have the strength to spin such a wheel," I confessed sheepishly.

Once more, God intervened, conjuring forth a simple button that beckoned me forth. "Press the button to spin, and press it again to stop," he instructed, his words imbued with a sense of reassurance.

As the wheel gradually slowed to a halt, a sense of anticipation hung palpably in the air. And then, with a soft hum, a golden box materialized before me, its inscription bearing a single word that set my heart aflutter.

"NARUTO," it proclaimed, each letter emblazoned with an intensity that resonated deep within my soul. Though the path ahead remained shrouded in uncertainty, I knew that within the world of Naruto, amidst the trials and tribulations of shinobi and kages, lay the promise of a new beginning.

"Now, it is time to choose your powers," God declared, his voice echoing with a sense of finality as the next chapter of my journey awaited. And with a renewed sense of purpose, I eagerly embarked upon the next stage of my adventure, ready to embrace the boundless possibilities that lay ahead.
