Chapter 11

The chunin exam was happening soon as it was right around the corner. I just did missions but most of them were quite easy for me.

" Reporting Hokage sama. " I say.

" Owl. As you know the chunin exam will be starting soon. The hidden mist won't be partaking as they are still recovering.

The hidden sand will be participating however. I'll called here to go and escort them here. You will be going there and bring them here. "

" If I may Hokage sama why is it that you want me to go to the hidden sand instead of waiting for them at the border? "

" Its because the team participating is the kazekages children. That's why you'll be going. As from this moment however you'll have the rank of Jonin.

You've shown that you can handle yourself well and can even contend against high jonins. Here's your uniform.

You'll need to be at the hidden sand in three days. "

" Yes Hokage sama. "

I take the uniform as u then left to my house.

" Bokuto are you going out on a mission? " My mother asked.

After the days went by she got used to my schedule and knew when I had to leave. However no matter what I do she still worries about me.

" Yep. I'll be gone for a few days. "

" Okay. Just remember to come back safe. "

" Okay. "

She hugged before I left in my jonin uniform.

As I left I then headed towards the hidden sand.

' I'll have to pick up Gaara, Temari, and Kankuro. Possibly even their Jonin instructor maybe but I don't know.

For some reason he wants me to go. I'll see why when I get there. '

I rushed my way across the desert and navigated through the sandstorm.

I soon reached the hidden sand as I appeared before the guards.

" Who are you? "

" I'm the Jonin from Konoha sent here to pick the genin who will participate in the chunin exams. " I say in a monotone voice.

" Hmm alright. Wait here for them to come out. "

I waited outside as I looked at the village with my sense. I could find the people with massive chakra signatures.

' One of them has 2 signatures. Gaara and Shikaku. The other must be Orichimaru considering it's large and he has that creepy aura.

Anyway here they come. '

Gaara, Temari, and Kankuro arrived along with Orichimaru pretending to be the kazekage.

" Well that was faster than expected. Didn't expect someone to come here so fast. " Orichimaru said in his behind his disguise.

" I wanted to finish up before taking a break so forgive for rudeness when I say that I really want to go back home and sleep. "

" Hmm understandable. Work is always a pain sometimes. Well anyway off you go. "

He then turned around and left. I looked at the 3.

" Alright let's get a move on. "

" You're not leading us? " Kankuro asked.

" You're from the hidden sand. If you had missions you would have had experience getting through sandstorms. "

I said nothing as we then left. I kept my eyes on Gaara as Shukaku might talk to him. The journey was quiet as Gaara didn't make much of a fuss while the other 2 were quiet.

Luckily for us we didn't run into a sandstorm so we soon reached the boarder faster than usual though night quickly came.

" Okay we will stay here and head out in the morning. "

" Why? " Gaara asked.

" Paperwork. It'll be easier heading to the front gate to sign you guys in during the day than at night. Once that's over you'll be givin the address of where you will stay and then you can explore. "

Gaara nodded before finding a tree to sit in. I didn't care and went to find firewood.
