2 Choosing the perks and Quirklessness.

[In the void]

"Ok so, let me get this straight" said Kai while massaging his forehead.

"Ok go ahead" said the being known as Wexof with a deadpan expression.

"So, I died while saving a little girl from getting into a car accident" said Kai.

"Yes, you are right" Wexof answered.

"However due to my years of doing good deeds you decided to reward me by letting my soul reincarnate in a world of my choosing along with some bonuses, right?" Kai asked with a confused expression.

"Yes, yes that is correct" Wexof answered and then continued "why are you putting so much emphasis in the words good deeds?" Wexof asked confused.

Kai with a deadpan expression answered "it's just that I never understood the concept, I mean if there is someone in trouble you should help them, right?"

"Yeah, no that's what I mean normally no one would have that type of thinking, most humans are egoistical beings who gloat around their pleasure and well being while disregarding other's needs and problems, yet you did none of that and always helped others no matter how tired or occupied you were". Wexof answered with a surprise tone.

"Come on I didn't do anything worth mentioning" said Kai with the same deadpan expression.

"DISSAGREE" shouted Wexof before continuing "at the very least 80% of the human population does not manage to do even half of your deeds, let me give you some examples: one time you helped a group of grannies to carry all of their shopping".

"Isn't that normal?" asked Kai confused.

"NOT AT ALL, if they were like 1 or 2 y would understand but you helped 20 grannies that day" shouted Wexof with his eyes almost popping out of their sockets due to Kai's simple answer, "and then was the time in which you somehow helped a pregnant woman to safely deliver her twins in an elevator until the paramedics came to scene to give them a proper treatment".

"That was nothing I saw the woman in pain and to her luck I happened to watch a video about pregnancies' and how to deliver a few weeks back" Kai answered the same way.

"WHY" Wexof was at his wits ends.

"Well, I was bored and it was almost 2 Am and I couldn't fall asleep so…." Kai said before Wexof cut him off.

"No, I mean why go through the bother of doing it?" Wexof asked, this time more calmly.

"Oh, well she looked in pain and I wanted her to stop feeling such pain, so I helped her the best I could" Kai answered smiling.

"Fine let's leave it at that" Wexof had enough and just wanted to help this seemingly pure soul, "so in which world would you..." Wexof was saying until, "WAIT!!!" Kai interrupted him.

With a shocked face Wexof asked "what man?"

"I want to know what happened to the little girl and my parents" Kai said with a firm tone in his voice.

"See what I mean no one asks for their loved ones in these types of situations but you, look at how you are doing, you make me proud of my choice" Wexof said laughing and scratching his nose.

"Now to summarize the situation: your parents were devastated by your death until they met the girl you saved, long story short she was living in an abusive home and escaped, after believing her life was a mistake, she saw the car and decided to end her life in hopes to get a better one" after saying this Kai's expression was wide open, he now understood the why a girl would talk about herself in such manner.

Wexof continued "after your body was taken into a hospital in hopes of reviving you your parents met the girl who told them everything including the fact this was a suicide attempt and not an accident, surprisingly your parents didn't have any negative emotion towards the girl, in fact they hugged her tightly recomforting her".

Hearing this Kai smiled a little, he was happy that his family didn't blame the girl for what happened.

"After informing the authorities the girl's parents were taken to prison and the girl ended in custody of your parents now, they are living a normal life overcoming together your loss" Wexof concluded.

Kai was on the verge of crying, not because he was sad but because he was happy that he's family was ok.

Suddenly Kai asked "can I leave a message?".

Hearing this Wexof's eyes widened and thought 'after everything that happened, he still worries about those who he loved?' and then he answered "unfortunately that will be impossible, your soul has abandoned completely that world and is present in here so long story short you can't communicate with them in any way ok?" Wexof said a bit sad.

Kai sighed and said "ok since things are like this may I ask what perks I have as a reincarnation?"

"Well for starters: you can choose a world of your choosing to reincarnate" Wexof said cheerfully in order to advert the gloomy mood.

"Mmhh, can it be an anime world?" Kai said which Wexof answered "of course what's the point in reincarnating if you cannot choose fictional universes?".

Kai gave it a deep thought and answered "I want to go to the world of My Hero Academia, more precisely to the same timeline as the canon and around the same time as the original cast, along with being near UA" after being so specifically Wexof spoke "ok ok jeesh hold your horses" Wexof said a little shocked, to which Kai answered "being specific is a necessity when asking for something".

After cleaning the imaginary drops o sweat in, he's forehead Wexof continued "ok now the second thing is your powers, also known as quirks, you can choose almost any quirk thanks to your good karma, now what do you wish.

Kai had a deep thought, it's true that having a quirk would give him a big advantage when it came to becoming a hero but on the other hand... "I spent my whole live without a quirk and did my very best to help others in need, and I didn't need some OP power to do it, I WILL REACH THE TOP AS A QUIRKLESS HUMAN" Kai shouted impressing Wexof.

"So, you want no perk?" Wexof asked confused "no but I want to remain my photographic memory and have a complete mental manual about the breathing techniques of kimetsu no yaiba" Kai said firmly.

"So, you won't take any powers but rather surpass them with your own abilities?" Wexof asked to confirm.

"Yes, even though they were humans the swordsman's and swordswomen were exceptionally strong, strong enough to defeat the so-called demons who where superior to them" Kai confirmed and gave his reason.

"Ok, I'll give you a body with the constitution of yoriichi tsugikuni including the mark of the demon slayer is that alright?" Wexof asked to confirm for the last time.

"Yes, thank you" Kai said bowing.

Suddenly Kai's body was disintegrating he was panicked until Wexof said "you are currently being transported to the MHA world with your perks" hearing this Kai was calm and let he's body to dissipate into nothingness.

After Kai left Wexof thought to himself 'it is not enough, that guy has so much good karma that the perks he chose were not enough so what should I do for him? A soul as pure as his deserves better' "I KNOW!" Wexof shouted.

I know he wanted to be in the canon timeline but as a quirkless boy he needs as much help as he can get so I'll do a little of this, a touch of that and voila there is now a blacksmith near he's home and a very sketchy store in which he will find a key item for he's future battles" Wexof said smiling.

"Welp good luck Kai, I hope you achieve your dreams, regardless of how impossible they may sound" Wexof said smiling before disappearing.
