11 Meeting the family. Part 1

I roll off the bed Groaning.

"I'll be right back." I say while walking past Claire to the bathroom.

"Mom, what are you doing?" Haley asks.

"Oh, don't worry sweetie I am just dropping off some laundry." I hear Claire say then she went into a monologue about how she has seen this before.

Anyways we're about to leave now.

"Alright Haley it's 2:30 lets go ahead and head out." I say.

"Ok, let me just tell my mom." She says.

"You didn't tell her?" I asked shocked.

"Nope, is that a problem?" I just stare at her.

"Come on." she says walking past me and grabbing my hand.

We walk downstairs and see Claire in the kitchen.

"Mom, Logan was gonna take me to go see a movie."

Claire looks at me.

"What movie?"

"G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra."

"Haley I don't know we have a dinner tonight." Claire says.

Haley was about to argue something but I decided that I will ease Claire's worries.

"Mrs.Dunphy I will personally make sure that Haley will make it to the dinner, you see Haley was supposed to ask you a couple days ago but she forgot." I say looking at Claire.

"Fine then, if she is late to the dinner then you won't be able to come over anymore how's that?" Claire says.

"Deal." I say with a smile.

"Alright go have fun."

"Let's go, before she changes her mind." Haley whispers as she is dragging me out the door.

"Bye MR. and Mrs. D." I yell as Haley closes the front door.

'He called me Mr. D.' Phil thinks to himself.

'If we're already on the nickname point of our relationship, I need to get one for him.' Phil thinks to himself.

I walk in front of Haley and open the passenger door for her.

"Thank you," she says with a smile.

"Anytime," I respond.

Once she gets in I run around to the other side, I hop in, and start the car. She just sits there and looks at me.

"Buckle up," I say.

"Oh yeah." Haley exclaimed.

I chuckle and start to drive off toward the mall, where the movie theater is.

After driving for a couple of minutes, Haley and I keep making each other laugh, the main topic of our conversation was how her mom thought we were having sex.

"I guess back in her day she used to be wild." Haley says while laughing.

"It's weird to think, someone as strict as your mom is to be wild, well I haven't seen her that strict I only know what you told me." I say smiling.

We both start to laugh at that.

After a couple of minutes, we stop talking and Haley starts to stare out of the window. Her left hand is sitting on her thigh with her palm facing up.

'Should I? I mean she was laying on me not too long ago I think we are past the holding hands part. Ahhhh f*ck it.' I think to myself and in the next second, I grab her hand and intertwined our fingers. I don't look at her I just continue to look at the road.

Haley squeezed my hand in an accepting way and started to talk.

"So what is this movie about?" Haley asks.

"To be honest not 100% sure," I say chuckling.

"I know it has something to do with, a like secret agency saving the world." Haley looks at me and I look at her, she starts to die of laughter.

"This is gonna be an amazing movie," Haley says sarcastically with a smirk on her face.

"Yea yea yea, don't dog it till you watch it," I say while parking the car.

I put the car in park and unbuckle, I look at Haley and say.

"Stay here." Haley has a confused look on her face. But I don't give her time to ask a question.

I quickly run around the car and open her door.

"M'lady," I say sarcastically while holding out my hand for her to take.

Haley sees I'm messing around so she decides to join in.

"Why thank you, kind sir." Faking an English Accent.

She grabs my hand and I pull her out of the car. I close the door and we start walking inside the mall, she is holding my left hand, I lift my arm up and drape it around her shoulder, she leans into my chest and we continue to walk inside.

We get inside and we of course, get popcorn and drinks, we find our seats and sit down for the movie, without wasting any time I go ahead and drape my arm around her shoulder and she lays her head on my shoulder.

After the movie Haley and I walk out of the theater.

"Okay, from now on I pick the movies." Haley says while Laughing.

"Ohhh so you didn't like going with me." I say with a grin.

Haley stops moving and starts to glare at me.

"I didn't say that." I lift my hands up.

"I'm just kidding."

.....

"I'm starving want to grab a pretzel before we go?"

"Yea sounds good."Haley responds

We make it to the Pretzel shop and we're about to hop in line when out of nowhere.

I hear a loud screech behind me.

"HALEYYY!!!"

"Oh God." was all Haley could say.
