Chapter 2: The key

As I sat on the bed, trying to make sense of my situation, I noticed something glinting in the corner of the room. I walked over and saw that it was a small key lying on the floor. I picked it up and examined it, wondering if it could be the key to getting out of the room.

I walked back to the door and tried the key in the lock. To my surprise, it fit perfectly and the door swung open. I stepped out into a long, dimly lit corridor, not knowing where it would lead me.

As I walked down the corridor, I saw that it was lined with doors just like the one I had been locked in. I wondered if there were other people trapped in these

rooms like I had been.

Finally, the corridor opened up into a large, open space. It was a train station, filled with people rushing to and fro, carrying bags and luggage. I was stunned by the sight, not expecting to find myself in a place like this.

I looked around, taking in the sights and sounds of the busy station. There were trains and tracks, vendors selling food and souvenirs, and people of all ages and backgrounds. It was a bustling hub of activity, but something about it seemed off.

I walked over to a vendor and asked him where I was. He looked at me strangely and asked if I was joking. When I told him I had no idea where I was, he seemed to pity me and told me that I was in the metro system, in a station called "Polis."

I had never heard of the metro or this place called "Polis." I had no idea how I had gotten there or what was happening. I was more lost and confused than ever.
