33 33. Grant's Field Assessment

Grant shook his head when he looked at their thundered expression and started laughing, "I can't believe you shot May. Trip will forgive you and Skye will get over it but May? You are in so much trouble"

Hunter looks sheepishly at the team as they walked towards them. "Hey guys," he said withering a bit under their glares. "I am sorry for shooting you. I just needed to make him pay for what he did to Izzy and Idaho. You understand. No hard feelings?"

Skye didn't even glance at Hunter and looked at the statue of Creel after which she walked towards Ward and asked "So Coulson gave you permission to be on the field?"

"It's a special case. There wasn't anyone else who could go on the field and Overkill Device was the only way to stop Creel, Coulson couldn't come as he knew May would take his head off -" Grant said

"He was right" added May

"So here I am" Grant completed

"Still, I think you did save Hunter so you may have earned some brownie points with him" Skye stated

Trip also congratulated Ward to be out on the field then looked at Hunter and said "Man that was seriously uncool. Is that a Mercenary thing?" May nodded towards Ward once acknowledging his help then started working the room as she talked with Coulson over the comms.

Hunter looked appealingly at Grant who smiled. "Remind me not to stand next to you whenever May's in the room."

At Hartley's funeral, Hunter decides to join  S.H.I.E.L.D. . Later Skye and May discuss about Coulson's unusual behavior. Fitz talks with Coulson about Ward's condition and his chances of going back on the field after his recent work.

"So he can be put back in the field," Coulson said

"Yes sir but there is something about Ward that you need to know," Fitz said

"What is it?" asked Coulson

"Ward's need of approval is something that won't be going away. Even when we were on the bus he would always try to do his best to get your approval and now that you have given him a second chance it has only creased even more than that of Garret, the only one who could top you off right now would be Skye and I am not sure that's gonna happen anytime soon" Fitz explained

"So you are saying that Ward would do anything g I ask him to do to get my approval. Doesn't that mean that we just shifted his brainwashing target from Garret to me!? And what is going between Ward and Skye?" asked Coulson

"You don't need to worry about that. If Ward thinks that the mission is morally wrong he will try to talk to you and even disobey your order but since you aren't going to give such an order to him it won't happen and as for What's going on between those two it's complicated! Ward is keeping his distance from Skye because he thinks he is mentally not stable to be near Skye and her on the other hand may have started talking with Ward but there is no way she will take the first step towards him if nothing drastic happens" Fitz replied

"I don't want any complicated relationship here so keep an eye on those two, I feel like I am a teacher who has to keep the teenagers in check when it comes to them" Coulson stated

"Yeah, they do behave like that from time to time," Fitz said nodding his head.

"On the other hand great Work on the Overkill device Fitz, it looks like you have stopped wallowing now," Coulson said congratulating Fitz on his work

"I wasn't wallowing," Fitz said

"If it wasn't that you needed to treat Ward, you would still be wallowing but still it's good that you are interacting with the others as well," Coulson said

"Ok, I will be going now to help Mack with the cloaking tech," said Fitz leaving the room.

10 minutes after Fitz left, May came into Coulson's office to talk with him. May confronts Coulson and convinces him to release the  Words Of Creation. He does in a blackened room as May documents the incident.

Raina delivers the Obelisk she stole from right under Bakshi's nose to Calvin Zabo, who shows her that she can touch it without dying.

The Next Day Coulson delivers the Absorbing Man to Talbot to keep the promise that Hunter made with him. But when Talbot tries to capture Coulson a cloaked Bus and Quinjet keep Coulson from being captured.

In A Hydra Base

Daniel Whitehall pours himself a drink. He says "The first time I drank it was when I first enlisted. It was bland and immature, but has increased with a value over time."

He is talking to a woman called Agent 33 a.k.a Kara Palmas who is hooked up to a device that is holding her eyes open while she stares at a screen of hypnotic shifting shapes.

Daniel Whitehall says, "You know what you need to do, you need to comply. If you comply your compliance will be rewarded"

"Never" replied Agent 33

"It's alright I have a lot of time we can start again, I will make you Comply" said Whitehall.

Next Morning

Jemma Simmons wakes up and gets ready for work. She walks there, having a happy, normal day and dropping her fast food breakfast in the trash. She is greeted by a security guard named Theo at the door. She goes down to a lab. Another man greets her, noting that she is early, and brushes her off. A HYDRA insignia is on the wall.

In the Playground

May is training Skye in control. When Skye shoots the gun it's hits the target and she says "I was thinking of the Hydra Agents when I shot"

"When you are out in the field you need to be control you can't let your emotions get in your way" May scolded her, "Although you kept your heartbeat steady so it's a good thing"

At that time Mack and Hunter enter the gun range and Hunter couldn't help himself but ask "So how credible are you as an SHIELD Agent having not gone to the S.H.I.E.L.D Academy. Have you ever killed anyone."

"No I haven't"
