Chapter 46 - Beginnings in Shibuya (2)

"Suguru?" Gojo's eyes widen at the reveal.

"But he's dead, how?"

He was sure Suguru was dead, after all, he was the one who killed him. But, Suguru somehow lived and work with special grade curses to seal him in prison realm.

"He was dead." Gojo was sure. Yet, that didn't explain how he could appear again and seal him.

He felt like he wanted to confront him, ask questions but he knew that was how he got sealed in the fragments he just saw.

"Satoru, are you okay?" Sachiko

"Yeah.." Gojo nodded but it was quite obvious that he was not.

"We'll get through this together. After this, we can figure out the reason or anything." Sachiko said to him.

"I know." Gojo replied with a nod. "That was just unexpected. But of course, since we know this beforehand, I'll definitely not fall into their trap."

Sachiko flashed a weak smile, "Right."

"Don't worry, I'm the strongest so they won't get me." Gojo reassured her.

"Okay, but you must be careful. I don't know what I would do...."

"I know you love me so much!" Gojo said with a huge grin.

"...." Sachiko sighed. "Alright, I'll just go and check how things are going with Kokichi."

"Okay, sugar. I'll wait here."

Sachiko nodded before leaving.

About an hour later, Sachiko came back to where Gojo was waiting. Then, both saw the veil forming in distance.

"So, it has started." Gojo said.

"It seems so."

"Alright, I'll go now." Gojo said.

"And I'll get into my position." Sachiko said. "The small puppets Kokichi control will report the battle real time so I will know if they have a backup plan or other hidden cards."

"As long as my cursed technique works."

"Right, here's the tiny puppet from Kokichi. This will help us communicate with Kokichi as the medium." She said as she handed him a tiny puppet which could fit into hid ears.

Gojo took the puppet with a nod before leaving.

Soon after he left, Gojo got a phone call about Shibuya incident and that he has to handle this alone by finding and taking out the caster.

"What a coincident. I'm at Shibuya now." He said on the phone.

Then, he headed towards the station's bottom floor.

When Gojo got there, he was welcomed by the sight of Hanami and Choso slaughtering humans. Upon seeing Gojo, Hanami quickly blocked the exit.

"Don't worry, I won't be running away." Gojo said as he stretched his legs.

Choso charged towards Gojo while killing humans on his way. At the same time, Hanami sneak attack on Gojo with domain amplification as Geto said.

Gojo swiftly made an escape after hitting Choso against the wall.

'This technique can actually neutralize my infinity. Was it really Suguru?'

He knew it was most likely possible. Although his feelings were complex, he naturally didn't let that affect his fight with the two curses.

However, Hanami and Choso seemed to be in a hurry to distract Gojo as they fought with the same vigor continuously.

'I better finish them quickly before Suguru comes.' Gojo thought, then proceeded to take off his blindfold.

After that, Gojo appeared in front of Hanami and broke the branches off its face. Then, pouring all of his cursed energy into his Limitless technique, Gojo pressed Hanami against the wall, crushing and killing him coldy.

Then, he turned towards Choso.

Meanwhile, Itadori got to Meijijingu-Mae station soon after the incident started and met Mei Mei and Ui Ui there. The manager then told them about the mutated humans between the screens.

"I thought Mahito was supposed to be dead." Itadori said quietly.

"Well, apparently he wasn't. Come to think about it, Nakamura Sachiko was supposed to be the one who exorcised him right?" Mei Mei said.

"Nanamin was there too. Obviously, she wouldn't have lied or made up that Mahito was exorcised." Itadori mumbled.

Even if he were starting to think Nakamura was somehow involved in the cursed girl Riko, she wouldn't have played tricks on that, right? He felt that that would be too absurd.

Mei Mei shrugged with a chuckle before saying, "I'll use my crows to investigate the station." Then, she used her ability on some crows.

"Is there Mahito?" Itadori asked.

"I didn't see him but he must be in there. Otherwise, there won't be mutated humans."

"Right." Itadori nodded.

"Alright, let's split up and meet after completing the tasks." Mei Mei said.

After splitting up, Itadori entered from another entrance and soon he came across a curse.

"Is Mahito down there?" He asked.

"Of course not. He's down there." The curse said.

'Could it be that this cursed spirit was the one creating the screen?' Itadori wondered. However, that was only until he noticed an object which was probably creating the screen.

'Maybe it is protecting this object.' He thought.

Then, the curse decided to attack him so he could only try to exorcise it. It was a high-level one and only attacks long-range. Itadori had no choice but to try to close the gap between them in order to land an attack on it. A few minutes later, he successfully exorcised it and broke the object that is creating the screen.

After that, he proceeded to look for Mahito but there was no one.

'Did it lie to me? Mahito wasn't here?' Itadori was confused.

He walked back to the station and met with Mei Mei and Ui Ui again. Then, they walked to the lower platform.

The train started leaving just as they arrived and it was only then they noticed that the people on the train were all mutated.

"It...it's heading towards the station where Gojo sensei's at!" Itadori said.

"a train's coming towards the station you're in. It's... full of mutated humans."

Just when Gojo was about to deal with Choso, Gojo received the information from the tiny puppet.

"I see." Gojo said as he got ready to activate his cursed technique to kill the mutated humans as soon as the train arrived at the station.

Soon, the train stopped.

Mahito got out of the train along with the mutated humans.

It was going to be a massacre.
