Chapter 15 - Gojo gets a new student

Morning came and there was no trace of a curse. If it was yesterday, Junpei would've doubted that they actually lied to him but after spending a night talking and watching movies, they bonded a lot and he also learned a lot about them. So, when nothing showed up till the morning, he just heaved a sigh of relief.

"Maybe because Mahito was killed, they changed the plans. But I still suggest moving so that your mother won't be targeted again if you come to our school." Sachiko suggested and Junpei nodded.

"We also need to make some evidences to take care of the bullies." Sachiko continued and Nanami glared at her.

Junpei let out a laugh at that. And he felt good. He came into a conclusion that he wouldn't seek revenge by killing them last night and he would deal with those bullies in a legal way as Sachiko said.

"Thank you."

Junpei said and Sachiko smiled at that. Itadori was also smiling and even Nanami's expression turned soft.

It was at that moment Junpei's mother woke up.

"So, Junpei, care to explain who these people are?"

She asked.

"Umm, I'm Itadori's classmate and this is Nanami san, our sensei's friend. We actually came here to ask Junpei if he is interested in transferring to our school." Sachiko quickly thought of a reason.

"Yeah, what she said." Junpei nodded.

"What school?" She asked.

"It's a religious school!"

Sachiko replied and Junpei's mom turned to Junpei as she asked, "So you want to go there ?"

"Yeah, I guess I want to."

And, that was all his mother needed to hear from him before breaking into a smile. "Then, you can go. I just hope you make more friends and be happy."

"We'll be his friends! Right, Nakamura?"

Itadori said as he smiled brightly and Sachiko nodded.

"Yeah, right."

"Sensei!!!" Itadori waved over to Gojo who was waiting for them.

"Yuji, Sachiko! I see you two have returned."

Gojo said, then asked as he saw Junpei. "Oh, who is this?"

"He's Yoshino Junpei. We met him yesterday." Nanami started explaining to Gojo.

Meanwhile, Sachiko said, "He's Gojo Satoru, a teacher at Jujutsu Tech."

"Wow, he's a teacher?" Junpei asked.

"Yeah."

After Nanami explained, Gojo said,

"Oh, I see. I'll take you to the principal for interview then!"

"Thank you!" Junpei said.

A few hours later, they stood in front of the school entrance.

"Is this the school?" Junpei asked as he took in the beautiful scenery of the school.

"It's beautiful,right? Even though this is outskirts of Tokyo, I like the peaceful vibe." Sachiko said with a smile.

Junpei nodded and they continued walking into the school.

"We're here. I've already informed the principal about your transfer so all you need to do now is to go into this room for interview." Gojo said.

"Okay." Junpei said as he followed Gojo.

After a few minutes, Junpei came out of the room.

"So, did you get in?" Itadori asked.

Before Junpei could reply , Gojo announced , "Meet our fifth first-year student, Yoshino Junpei!"

Itadori and Sachiko broke into a smile at that and they welcomed him.

"Now, I'll leave you to show him the dorms and introduce him to Megumi and Nobara." Gojo said as he left.

Itadori brought him to the dorms and then they meet up in the training grounds. Megumi and Nobara were training with second years when they arrived.

"Fushiguro! Kugisaki!"

"So, you two are already back? How was the training?" Nobara asked.

"It wasn't that bad. I liked the part I get to exorcise the curses but fighting with Gojo sensei ? Not so much.." Sachiko chuckled lightly.

"Same for me. But minus the part of exorcising. I had to focus more on controlling cursed energy so I didn't encounter many adventures like Nakamura." Itadori said.

"Understandable." Megumi said.

"Right, we have to introduce you to our new classmate!" Sachiko said as she grabbed Junpei by his arm. "He's Yoshino Junpei, fifth student!"

"Really? Gojo sensei got a new student?" Nobara asked.

"Uh, actually, we met him on one of the missions and Itadori asked him to join us." Sachiko replied and Itadori nodded.

"Okay. Nice to meet you. I'm Kugisaki Nobara."

"I'm Fushiguro Megumi. Nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you." Junpei said.

"So, what do you say we go out and eat for bonding?" Sachiko said.

"But we still have to train. Exchange event is two weeks from now." Megumi said with a frown.

"Yeah, but it's the first day for Junpei. We need to celebrate." Sachiko tried to make her point.

"What is exchange event?" Junpei asked and Sachiko explained , "We have two Jujutsu schools in Japan and Kyoto Jujutsu tech is our sister school. We have competitions annually and we call it goodwill event."

"Oh I see. Do I get to participate too?"

"I don't know. Normally, first years don't participate. But if the teacher gives them permission , they can participate." Sachiko replied to Junpei.

"I see. But you all are participating?" Junori asked and Sachiko replied with a nod. "Gojo sensei said we can improve a lot by participating the competition. "

"Gojo sensei said I need to train more before exchange event." Itadori said.

"Exchange event is close. I still think should be training." Megumi said.

"I think I'll train too. We need to win the exchange event!" Nobara agreed the other two.

"Tsk. You guys are no fun." Sachiko said with a pout. "And Itadori, we literally just came back from a mission."

"Yeah but I still would train." Itadori said.

"Right, Junpei, you want to go out and celebrate your school transfer too, right?" Sachiko turned to Junpei and asked.

"Umm.. Since others said they're training, I'll just watch and learn. I'm new to these after all."

"...."

"You guys are no fun." Sachiko pouted, dejected as she sat down to watch the two train.

Hanami, Dagon and Geto sat on the beach.

"So, are we still going to collect the six fingers kept by Jujutsu high school?" Hanami asked.

"It's our priority after all. But we still need to get rid of Nakamura Sachiko." Geto said.

"Why not make a move while we trap them in the barrier? It might be risky but if this continues, she'll just get stronger." Dagon said.

"Fine. But we need to be careful with that. Gojo Satoru would also be there. So if we make a mistake, we might lose more of us."

"What about that external help you mentioned?" Hanami asked and the curse user shook his head.

"We can't get that help now. It's not time yet. But I'll see what I can do."

Two weeks passed after that and the day of the exchange event arrived.

All students from Tokyo Jujutsu Tech gathered at the entrance of the school. Even Junpei ended up participating because Gojo gave his permission to participate. He even said, "That's a good opportunity to learn and improve, Junpei."

Maki asked as soon as she saw Sachiko who was standing beside Nobara.

"Nakamura, finally you're back. Where is the katana I borrowed you?"

"Umm...I accidentally broke that while fighting with a special grade curse. I'm sorry, Maki senpai!"

"What do you mean you broke it? You said that you're borrowing it to practice for a few days!"

"I'm sorry, senpai!"

"I'm gonna have to think carefully before lending you cursed tools in the future. You're so unreliable. " Maki said with a sigh.

Then, the students from Kyoto Jujutsu Tech arrived.

"Oh my, everyone from Tokyo school is here." Mai said. "Are you here to greet us? It's really disgusting. "

"Okkotsu is not here." Todo said as he rubbed his head.

"It's good that Okkotsu is not here but..." Mechamaru looked at Sachiko who was lazily standing beside Nobara. "she must be the one the principal said to look out.."

"Shut up and give me those boxes. Yatsuhashi, kuzukiri and buckwheat biscuits too!" Nobara said as she rolled her eyes.

"What? Are you hungry?"

"Salmon."

"Who doesn't like food, anyway?" It wasn't Nobara who replied but Sachiko was the one to reply. "Since you all come to Tokyo, shouldn't there be souvenirs for us?" She asked.

"You expect us to bring souvenirs? How..." Mai was interrupted by Todo.

"Nakamura Sachiko, I'm looking forward to fighting with you. I heard you exorcised a special grade curse two weeks ago. Since this is a formal event , there's no way you're not gonna fight, right ?"

Sachiko laughed, "Of course. I'll be looking forward to fighting with students from Kyoto."

'She seems confident. Is our plan really going to work?' Mechamaru thought as he remembered what the principal said and their plan to kill Itadori.

"Kill Itadori Yuji, Sukuna's vessel, during the event. I'll make an excuse that this was an accident."

This was the order they received from their principal, Gakuganji.

"But look out for another first year student, Nakamura Sachiko. According to the reports, she is capable of exorcising two special grade curses within a few minutes."

That was a warning. If they wanted to complete their mission, the best way is to make her occupied with other things so that she wouldn't be able to protect Itadori Yuji.

Mechamaru's thoughts were distracted when Iori Utahime came in.

"Come on. Don't quarrel among yourselves."
