"If that is all you have to ask, are you ready to die, human?"

Without answering, Ryoma dashed towards the towering figure of the human-like cursed spirit.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Sending it flying with three consecutive punches imbued with cursed energy, Ryoma immediately summoned the Special Grade dragon cursed spirit he had dominated not long ago.

"I'll just call you Kanenariryu (Chiming Dragon) for the time being." thought Ryoma as he stood on the dragon, commanding him to fly higher into the sky.

"Should I just leave this place?" thought Ryoma as he observed the collapsed Kuroshin. "But I think I overestimated the capabilities of this cursed spirit. I might as well exorcise it, adding another Special Grade to my arsenal."

"But there is an uneasy feeling I'm getting from him. It feels as if he could end my life in a second. I shouldn't risk it, I'm leaving." thought Ryoma

Just before he was about to command Kanenariryu to fly away, Kuroshin took out four Fly Heads, attaching them to his clothes. Commanding them to fly and enhancing them with his cursed energy, he reached Kanenariryu in a few seconds.

He grabbed onto the giant body the dragon.

And the very next moment, Kuroshin activated his cursed technique and a process that could be felt by Ryoma was initiated. The very second Kuroshin used his cursed technique on Kanenariryu, it stopped moving and started rapidly falling towards the ground. Ryoma sensed something terrifying from the technique of Kuroshin and had the feeling that if he doesn't interrupt this process, something bad would happen to Kanenariryū.

Ryoma appeared before Kuroshin and kicked him off the dragon, before reappearing in front of him. He then continued to assault the cursed spirit with fists imbued with cursed energy.

They were both falling in midair, but Ryoma had initiative. He didn't let the cursed spirit touch him once, sensing that if he does, he might be doomed.

Ryoma eventually kicked Kuroshin one final time into the ground before landing flawlessly.

"His cursed energy kind of feels familiar. It feels as if I have felt something like it before." thought Ryoma as he summoned away Kanenariryu and pulled out Toji's inventory cursed spirit, taking out Playful Cloud.

Ryoma, who's physical might was unrivaled on earth, felt his strength increase even more from the cursed energy of the special grade cursed tool.

"I'm not comfortable with using a three-section staff, might as well do what he did." said Ryoma as he scraped the edges of Playful Cloud together and sharpened the three-section staff into a spearing weapon. He then snapped the chain on Playful cloud, leaving him with a single sharpened staff.

"Much better." thought Ryoma

Kuroshin had already gotten up. He prepared himself for the battle by taking up a fighting stance.

"Die by my hand, human!" exclaimed Kuroshin as he dashed towards Ryoma.

"You're nothing." muttered Ryoma, and enhanced his entire body with cursed energy.

Kuroshin launched himself into the air and towards Ryoma. Easily dodging the cursed spirit, Ryoma activated his other cursed technique, Projection Sorcery.

With unpredictable movements, Ryoma dodged Kuroshin who tried to stop him and managed to touch him, stunning him for 1 second.

With flowing and elegant movement, Ryoma turned around and pierced the heart of Kuroshin with the changed Playful Cloud.

Purple blood spilled from the wound, dying the robes of the cursed spirit.

Kuroshin backed off and healed himself with cursed energy.

"All that talk for nothing. Quit wasting my time and die, cursed spirit." said Ryoma with an indifferent voice as he stared at the recovering cursed spirit.

"You! You dare disrespect me! I will end your measly existence, human!" exclaimed Kuroshin and dashed towards Ryoma

"How naive." thought Ryoma, who simply initiated a barrage of thrusting attacks with Playful Cloud piercing Kuroshin who appeared before him countless times.

Ryoma's physical strength combined with his cursed energy and Playful Cloud was simply too much for the cursed spirit. It simply couldn't react to Ryoma's explosive attacks and speed. 

Finally, with a final strike with the back of Playful Cloud, Ryoma sent Kuroshin, who's body was littered with holes from the spear, flying fifty meters towards a nearby tree.

Kuroshin, although was in a somewhat pathetic state, still managed to get up and heal himself with cursed energy.

"Oh, you're still capable of going?" asked Ryoma

Kuroshin looked towards Ryoma. His red oni mask concealed his face and emotions.

Ryoma, not wanting the cursed spirit to regain his footing, dashed towards him in order to deal the finishing blow.

Just then, something that could change the entire tide of the battle happened.

Kuroshin put hands together and did a complicated hand sign.

"[Domain Expansion: Pure Land of Nirvana]."

Ryoma halted his attack and activated Simple Domain before being enveloped by the domain of the cursed spirit.

"It appears that my intuition was correct." thought Ryoma, analyzing his surrounings.

The domain of Kuroshin was interesting to say the least. It was a divine, ethereal landscape filled with golden light, lotus blossoms, and sacred statues. There were many rivers and waterfalls surrounding the landscape, giving the domain a serene atmosphere. The sky was the color green, and the water of the rivers was a golden yellow.

Kuroshin floated in the air, shining with a divine light.

"Return towards nothingness, human." said Kuroshin as he extended his arm towards Ryoma. The yellow eyes of the red oni mask shined with a demonic light.
